Millionaire Jim Rogers has shared an interesting quote: "If that happens, then I will buy gold." He'll also discuss what's currently happening in the gold market and a very interesting twist regarding gold manipulation. You'll find out if you stay tuned to the end. He'll also address the question of whether to invest in gold mining stocks or consider other commodities.

Millionaire Jim Rogers has repeatedly and accurately predicted in the past that the precious metals and commodities markets would rise. However, this isn't currently evident in silver and gold, which are undergoing a correction. Therefore, he's described a specific scenario in which he will significantly increase his gold and silver purchases.

He'll also answer the question of whether silver or gold is more or less suitable and who can truly win this battle between gold and silver. So, please share your opinion in the comments: Are you currently buying gold, and if so, why? Or are you investing in other precious metals like silver or platinum?

Please see the info box below the video. We'll start right away with his first prediction, which is obvious: he also expects very high inflation, especially in the real asset sector. We're seeing rapidly exploding prices, and this is primarily due to the fact that he puts it succinctly: printed money is always invested in real assets sooner or later.

This is, of course, clear, stemming from a fear that money will become increasingly worthless. And if there is a lot of liquidity in the markets, then the super-rich who financed him, and of course also the small investors, will increasingly invest this money in real assets. Now, it must be said that what is very positive right now is that currency devaluation is also the friend of silver and gold, and precious metals in general, because they cannot be multiplied as often.

But at the moment, they are more likely to thwart investors' plans. We have already lost 50 percent of the high price of silver alone. It must be said that this is, of course, still the high price from a few years ago, when the The price per ounce was around 50 US dollars, but it's actually the case that Jim Rogers clearly states he remains very positive about gold and silver, but he's currently holding back.

That is, he's currently refraining from buying more, primarily because he thinks there could be further corrections in the near future. He sees a tendency for market participants to continue buying companies and stocks while still euphoric. And now comes a crucial point that he shares with us, or rather, that we find to be identical: he's very optimistic, also regarding commodity prices.

If the economy recovers, then of course raw materials like nickel, lead, zinc, or copper, for example, will be needed. Therefore, he assumes that if the broad investor base truly believes that we wo n't experience a crisis, meaning everyone already feels secure and says, " Yes, the crash prophets were wrong again, and they made the wrong predictions again," and if the majority of investors really believe this and flee to stocks during the upswing...

Risky investments – that's precisely when the crisis will come, because crises unfortunately always come when no one expects them, like in March 2020. No one anticipated that the stock market would suddenly explode downwards due to the pandemic, and that's exactly what happened. This means we're currently on a very dangerous path, with many market participants saying, "Okay, the crisis is long over, we have economic growth, and it will continue to rise as it has in recent months." The so-called crash prophets have nothing to say, and that's precisely when the trap snaps shut.

Jim Rogers, unfortunately, isn't giving a specific entry point. He's not saying, for example, that an ounce of gold is at €1100, or $1100, depending on how you want to look at it. Instead, he's saying that it's on his watchlist, and only when it corrects further will he make a strong move. He himself admits that he's not the best at market timing – at identifying the right time to buy.

One thing is clear, though: gold and silver will correct in the near future, simply due to the current euphoria on the stock market. The real economy, however, is a completely different story. There are many other factors at play that could lead to a less than rosy economic outlook. Therefore, our advice—and this isn't investment advice, but rather how we would proceed—is this: if you truly believe a crash is coming in the long term, you should buy silver and gold now.

Even if there's a short-term correction, the point is to be hedged for the long haul. Once the crisis hits, it will be too late. Now, we come to another topic, and we're always learning. We research this subject daily and regularly update our exclusive gold series with new videos. Be sure to subscribe so you don't miss any further videos on this topic.

We've actually discovered that market manipulation of the gold price definitely exists, but not, as you might think, that the major banks are pulling the strings. That's also true, of course, due to... The entire futures market is being manipulated through all the bets placed to artificially keep the gold price low.

Dirk Müller, for example, already mentioned this in his latest analysis video on the topic of gold on his success channel, stating that a few people are manipulating the gold market. However, there is actually a trading restriction that truly applies to the gold price, and this is where things get incredibly interesting.

Imagine a stock like this: let's take a penny stock, meaning a completely worthless company with a very low market capitalization. Then some news breaks that it has suddenly invented a new cure for cancer. You can imagine that the company had spent years researching and was absolutely unprofitable. Suddenly, the company's stock price shoots up by 1000 percent within seconds.

Before you know it, you've missed your entry point. Unfortunately, it's not like that with gold. Financial regulators have actually built in a restriction to prevent this from happening. This restriction works as follows: if the gold price has risen by approximately 100 US dollars within a certain timeframe...

In a very short time, there will be a trading halt, meaning that gold trading is suspended for five minutes. You can neither buy nor sell in this situation. This, of course, prevents such price increases, especially emotional panic buying, either upwards or downwards. And that 's the sad part again: that there's manipulation, that the price can't fluctuate freely.

But one thing is clear: as soon as the news comes tomorrow or the day after that a bank has gone bust, or we have a real estate giant on the verge of bankruptcy, like in China, and it has now also crashed, or there's a banking crisis and a bank run, the gold price will explode. Unfortunately, we don't know when that moment will be.

That's why Jim Rogers, who, by the way, has a net worth of over $300 million, so he's not necessarily lying, says that we should wait and see until the gold price has continued to rise a bit more, and then maybe... Even buying in stages is possible, and one thing is clear, which is also what he answers: one should approach gold mines with caution.

He brings up a beautiful quote that Mark Twain actually said back in the gold rush era: " A gold mine is a hole in the ground with a liar beside it." This means one must clearly see which mining companies actually have operations that will provide the company with gold in the long term, and which companies are perhaps just empty promises.

At the same time, he also says one should definitely keep an eye on other raw materials, especially wind power and, for example, hydropower, as alternative energies that are currently gaining in importance. But gasoline and oil could also remain interesting despite the development of electric cars. And this must be clearly stated: the price of oil has risen from almost $27 to a record high again in recent months, at least to $75 per barrel.

As you can see, that's almost a tripling. A fourfold increase soon means that, ultimately, one could have achieved better performance with oil, let's express this in numbers, than with the price of gold or silver. Silver has only doubled internally during this pandemic – a nice sign, one can be grateful for that.

But according to Jim Rogers, one shouldn't only focus on silver and gold, but also on other commodities, because they are of course also limited and have a realistic chance of rising again in the future. One also has to ask why Bill Gates, for example, has invested so much in farmland – because he wants to own land, because he is acquiring natural resources, so to speak.

And when such a powerful person does that, there is of course a plan behind it. And so, by investing in commodities, one could also secure a piece of the pie there. I would be interested to know when you would invest in gold, or do you generally stay away from it and invest in MAN stocks? Feel free to write your opinion in the comments, and accordingly, see you here for my next gold broadcasts, where we will explain what you absolutely must pay attention to when investing in gold.

I want to acquire physical form. Until then, I wish you a good time and I'll see you next time here on the ice track.
