a broadcom into an Nvidia into some other AI play this hyper growth phase in the 7s will probably go on for years broadcom is pretty much giving investors what they wanted all you need to know is that Nancy Pelosi bought a ton of broadcom stock last week she's long on avgo and she purchased over 20 call options that are expiring in June of 2025 but that's not why I'm buying the stock although All Eyes seem to be focused on anything and everything having to do with artificial intelligence and one of wall Street's hottest Trends right now which I am investing in I'm betting avgo post stock split amongst other reasons will continue to rise or at least have very strong bullish momentum in the next 6 to 12 months you see I was sticking to Nvidia stock but avgo really caught my attention I did a lot of digging into research reports and I want to explain what this company does why it's important and how I'm playing evgo stock I'm going to be looking at the technical analysis as well momentarily so let's look at the chart right now and I'll show you what's been going on with this stock so this stock had a stock split that's why the chart looks kind of ridiculous right now but now the stock is at $169 per share which makes it a lot more affordable for investors to basically buy up the stock it also means that the stocks 10 to one split May the options split 10 to one as well now if you look at the last 6 months before the stock split you can basically see that the stock had really good strong momentum the stock was you know around $1,200 per share and then it Peak that $1,800 per share before kind of pulling back to around the $1,700 level now look Bank of America research investment committee has already performed a detail analysis of all stock splits dating back to 1980 Bank of America's team found that stocks Rose by an average of 25.4% in the 12 months after announcing a stock split by comparison the S&P 500 Rose by an average of only 11.9% during these periods so there indeed seems to be a halo effect when the stock splits its shares broadcom stock has risen about 20% since announcing its stock split on June 12 2024 it still has some room to run to reach the historical average gain Bank of America research suggests even before broadcom announced its first ever stock split billionaire money managers were pulling in Based on data provided by Form through TF filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission six prominent billionaire investors opened a new position in broadcom or added to their existing stake in the first quarter first one Steve Cohen of 72 Asset Management he bought 470,000 shares Philip lefant of KATU management Israel Englander of Millennium management Ken Griffin of Citadel advisers Ken Fischer of Fisher asset management and Ray Delio of Bridgewater Associates so a lot of big names are buying this stock I'm going to go to the statistics tab right here this is a pretty big company like really really big I mean it's almost a trillion dollars in market cap the PE Ratio is very high however check this out the Ford PE ratio is a lot lower the Ford PE ratio actually makes sense price of sales is also pretty high like I'm not going to lie this stock is a kind of aggressive growth stock at the moment I mean it's priced in for Perfection but at the same time there is just so many reasons to buy it I would say this is a stock that can compete with Nvidia for the next 12 months of returns I think the stock can have really high growth r rates poly year-over-year growth to 16% now it's not going to beat Nvidia on growth but it's going to potentially beat Nvidia because profit margins will rise significantly the earnings growth can be really huge like you can see here year-over-year the earnings growth is 172% they do have decent amount of cash per share but they also have a lot of debt now I want to show you what avjo options are like because I think once the stock split is finalized that the options are going to be very attractive especially given that there is some selling pressure right now it's going to be a very interesting time to buy some bull call spreads now a bull call spread is a bullish strategy that gives the buyer the right to basically participate in the stock increasing in value so I'm going to go to August 16 now this is much better than just buying the stock this is much better than buying call options this is pretty much the best way to bet with limited risk exposure that a stock will rise a bull call spread really benefits in a bullish momentum so what I'm going to do is currently the Stock's at 165 30 days out let's say the stock Just Hits 175 okay so what I can do right now is I can buy the 170 right a slightly out- of the- money option right so this by itself would be $720 then if I go to sell call all right now if I sell a call this is going to be at let's say 175 because I don't think it's going to go that much higher than 175 this is just an example by the way I mean do your own technical analysis don't even have to use avjo this is just a new stock that I want to cover in this channel to mix up the content I have gotten your guys comments and I know how important it is for you guys to keep learning strategies and for me to be very informational so I'm just doing my best to help you guys make more money it doesn't have to be avgo you can do this on Nvidia you can do this on paler in fact this is a great strategy to use on any bullish stock so now the 170 call that I'm buying the 175 call that I'm selling you can see here how my price now has gone down significantly to just 250 however I did cap my upside my upside is now capped at 175 I really don't mind so you can see here how approximately it's going to be 250 or 220 depends on the bid ask spread now looking at the bidas spread it's not great but it's not too bad either the tighter the bid ass spread is the better for trading because you're losing less money every time you trade there is some cost that you're losing to the bid ass spread because if you were to buy you have to buy closer to five if you were to sell you have to sell closer to 470 now the volume here is actually really good it's over 1,00 open interest is 5,800 so overall this is a very liquid option A lot of people are trading it and you can see here how let's just say 220 250 and then your maximum profit is 280 so you can turn 220 into basically 280 and that's a little bit over double your money money so you can overd double your money uh slightly in 30 days if you are correct on Direction uh for avjo I think the stock makes a lot of sense basically there's so much traffic going through AI right now there's a lot of people gaining interest in Ai and AI generally is growing a lot I I was watching the Nvidia CEO talking about the future of AI and how robots will be building robots this is pretty insane right and now in the 2030 right robots will basically be building robots we'll have autonomous vehicles driving us we will have so much Innovation happening and avgo and other chip makers like Nvidia and Intel these companies are going to have a lot of profits because chips and and internets because let me show you the profile here basically what this company does Brom designs develops and supplies various semiconductor devices with focus on complex digital and mixed signal complimentary metal oxide semiconductor conductor based devices and analog 3 to five based products worldwide being honest with you I'm not a semiconductor expert but it doesn't take a genius understand that semiconductors are used in technology and you know whether it's AI or just simple ethernet switching and routing custom silicone Solutions and Wi-Fi Bluetooth this is called The Internet of Things internet of things just means everything will be connected our devices will be connected like our fridge will be connected to our phone our phone will be connected to our house will be connected to our bed our cars will be driving themselves and we'll be getting inputs and outputs and so much data all this data all of this analytics that is going to be coming in it's going to be managed by technology companies such as paler abjo is going to have a lot of the internet data passing through it from its priber channels host bus adapters and and all of this stuff here right again it doesn't take a genius I've only scratched the surface if you want to truly understand a stock I think it takes weeks to fully understand I'll be honest with you I spent days not weeks I've gotten enough information to think that broadcom is a decent add to the portfolio I would say maybe 5% of your Capital obviously I wouldn't go crazy here my main positions in my portfolio are still going to be apple have some meta I have some Tes Tesla I have Walmart PayPal paler Amazon Shopify actually killed it Shopify I made quite a lot of money the other day and now I'm up $10,000 on Shopify
