Friends, Palantir stock reported earnings of $1.46 per share after the market closed, and oh-ho-ho , I have a huge update for you regarding SoFi and Robinhood. Palantir at 146, man, that's going to be an awesome video. Let's start with SoFi. SoFi reported earnings, and I think they were very good. Earnings per share were about 12 cents versus the expected 11 cents, and adjusted net income was $1.2 billion , up 40% from a year ago.
Net profit was $157 million . This was an absolute record, and adjusted EBITDA increased by 44% year-on- year. They have now raised their 2026 revenue forecast to $4.75 billion to $4.85 billion. However, they did not raise their earnings per share forecast, which greatly disappointed investors. Investors want to see higher profit projections, not just higher revenues.
So I completely agree with that . I'm an investor, but if you look at the stock price, we're trading at $18 a share right now. The stock has risen significantly from the low of $15 we saw in late July. And, honestly , we made a ton of money on SoFi, even though it was sideways and didn't have crazy momentum or high momentum.
We made a very good profit just by selling options. Selling options proved to be an extremely successful strategy for SoFi as the stock moved sideways. I don't mind slow growth in the short term as long as the light at the end of the tunnel is still very bright. CEO Anthony Noto said SoFi is not seeing a significant deterioration in loan quality or customer behavior.
Delinquency levels and underwriting trends remain within expectations. Therefore, the consumer remains solvent. There is still high demand for personal loans. Management emphasized that they continue to see strong loan demand while maintaining underwriting standards, which resulted in a record $14.8 billion in quarterly loan originations.
Personally, I find their lending business statistically exceptional, guys. The average loan size was about 25-26 thousand dollars, and the average annual income of the borrower was about 160 thousand dollars. So when Anthony Noto said they were maintaining underwriting standards despite high demand, he meant they were n't lowering credit requirements to make more loans.
They continue to lend primarily to borrowers with high incomes, high FICO credit scores, and low expected default probability. I'm more concerned with protecting my community's money than trying to hit the jackpot like Leopold Aschenbrenner, who then gets wet and loses over $30 billion. I am proud to be the top coach on YouTube for 7 years, putting the volatility of my students' portfolios first .
This is a very important metric that I track. Glad to see that SoFi's business is in a stable state. I don't care if stocks move sideways. I'm still bullish on SoFi long-term , and I think the stock will be worth over $25 in the first half of 2027. Now, looking at their record deposits, they have reached $45.5 billion, which is significantly more on an annualized basis.
Deposits now cover about 93% of SoFi's funding needs, reducing reliance on more expensive warehouse financing and maintaining a high net interest margin. If you think about it, that says a lot about their brand. Clients trust them. And I'm not interested in short-term stock performance when the business is trusted and developing.
Student loans are accelerating. Student loan originations reached a record $2.7 billion , up 170% year-over-year , signaling a recovery in the student loan market that continues to be profitable for SoFi. Friends, this seems pretty crazy to me, but it's actually good for SoFi. In my opinion, options trading is better than a whole university degree, which today doesn't even guarantee employment.
But young people are taking on huge debts. It's still amazing that this business continues to grow for SoFi . But it's good for business, and I actually think this trend could continue. This is another reason why I believe SoFi will make much more money, because all the loans they make are very high-margin businesses .
This is a long-term business , because by its very nature, you pay back the loan for many, many years, right? And during all this time, while you are paying off the debt, you are, of course, developing a relationship with the brand you are collaborating with. So, subscribe if you want to receive more updates about SoFi.
Let's move on. Let's move on to the next stock, namely Robinhood. Robinhood shares are currently trading at $9 a share, and it's a situation very similar to the one I have with SoFi. I don't mind Robinhood trading in a narrow range since I sell options. I am an options seller. My main goal in what I do during my studies is to sell options and receive monthly bonuses.
If I can receive monthly bonuses and make it as stable as possible, then even if the stocks are stagnant, the income in my portfolio still gives me enough freedom and continues to grow my overall capital, which is the most important thing. This is cash flow and equity growth . So Robinhood has been a big contributor to that in my community.
Stocks have fallen sharply over the past month, but they have remained virtually unchanged over the past six months . So, as you can imagine , my community and I were just selling monthly options. This is what I've been talking about in all my videos. If you're subscribed, you know about this . I've been selling premiums for the last six months, and since Robinhood's volatility is high, it's worked really well.
Additionally, Robinhood reported earnings, recording a record 4.8 million Robinhood Gold users . This was the number of Robinhood Gold subscribers. This makes me incredibly happy, because Robinhood's business model allows it to retain customers, similar to what SoFi does, by getting them to subscribe, even if it's an inexpensive monthly service like Gold.
This still provides Robinhood with more predictable income. Options trading revenue grew 29% year- over-year to $342 million, which is great. So, they make a lot of money on options. When you trade options and there is little liquidity and the spread between the buy and sell price is large, they make money on you.
They make money even if you think it's free. Believe me, Robinhood makes money, and a lot of it. So all of you who overtrade are making a big mistake. You should learn from me and trade less, be a little more boring, but still maintain balance. It's all about balance, right? You don't want to give all your money to Robinhood in commissions, even if you think it's free.
This is not true. Of course? In any case, income from stock trading has increased by 95%, and that is simply impressive. This is a completely different level—$129 million , which is less than from options, but the growth...you know, what kind of growth? Three times more than from options trading. So stock trading has yielded very good results for Robinhood.
Gold subscribers pay monthly, so that makes the income much more predictable than the trading commissions they get, you know, from stocks or options. Here's what I like about the gold subscription. And that's why I'm so concerned about the gold subscription, because if you look at Robinhood at $90 a share, and I look at the annualized return, it was $144, $150 a share.
I can really see a path for Robinhood to return to $150 per share. I don't think it's impossible. I think this is a great business that is growing very quickly . The P/E ratio is around 40, which isn't cheap, but given the growth they're showing, look, the reason Palantir has grown so much is because of growth, right?
A lot of you commented on my channel, "I'm going to go to Palantir. We'll get to the detailed list on Palantir in a second. But you commented on my videos, saying, "Hey, the P/E ratio is too high." And I recommended Palantir at $110 a share. I went into even more aggressive, riskier strategies, like buying calls on Palantir.
I did a whole challenge, which I'm going to do again soon, by the way, because we were extremely successful. People called me crazy. They said, "Henry, the P/E ratio is too high. Don't you know what you're doing? "They called me a fool. And I asked myself, can I let those comments get to me or can I just be honest about what I think.
This P/E ratio, while it has some importance, is ultimately not the deciding factor when a business is growing rapidly. And I've tried to explain that many times. You see, the result speaks for itself. The P/E ratio is only part of the picture. It's only part of the story. It's just one detail, okay?
It's not an indicator of whether something is overvalued or undervalued, you know? Palantir is clearly doing amazingly well with a higher P/E ratio. And when I look at Robinhood's P/E of 40, I'm of the same opinion. I don't think that's a problem. A P/E of 40, which is almost double the S&P 500 from an expensive valuation perspective.
Well, that's great, because the growth that Robinhood is probably expecting in 2027 with international expansion, is going to be huge, and at a market cap of $81 billion, I honestly think this company deserves $ 100 billion. And that's not some crazy claim, because it's already been there. I think the way to do that is through the Gold subscriptions.
And of course, through their entry into foreign markets. Anyone who subscribes to Gold becomes a much more valuable customer for the company. Almost every big new product is launched for Gold users first, and then it expands—it's the Gold credit card, and the banking services, and the higher returns on the balances that people can subscribe to.
So management is essentially creating something like Amazon Prime, a kind of Amazon Prime-style membership. So once someone subscribes, they're much more likely to stay in the ecosystem for years to come. And I think that's the same scenario that's taught in every MBA program, or every business school graduate who comes to big companies, uses the same strategy.
Guys, it's because it works, you know? Bring someone into the ecosystem, build a relationship, build trust - that's how it works. In fact, I personally do the same thing in my own coaching program. I build relationships, I help students scale, I help them become sustainable, and then we build together.
That's my goal. My goal is to provide a quality experience, you know? The same goes for almost any business. If you're not building relationships that are mutually beneficial , you're doing something wrong, right? As for the other lines, they have 13 businesses, each of which brings in over $100 million in annual revenue.
That's just incredible for Robinhood, plus over $3 billion in deposits. So they become something of a bank, and Robinhood aims to control the entire wallet of their customers. Also, their Robinhood credit card annual transaction volume is about 17 billions of dollars. I love it. It's amazing because now they're in banking , they have credit cards, and I just think when the stock was trading at $75, a lot of people were unfollowing my channel saying I was wrong.
But, you know, guys, if you don't give up, you're not defeated, right? A lot of people give up and start to get discouraged, and I hate to see that because I'm trying to get to 500,000 subscribers, and guys, it's really hard right now. I'd love to get some support if possible, but I see a lot of people with that kind of negative mindset anyway .
The market goes down, I give up. Guys, what happened to the long term? Are n't we trying to reach a certain goal for monthly cash flow, which I talk about on this channel? Or aren't you trying to reach a certain amount for retirement? We don't have to do it today, do we ? I mean, volatility is expected.
If you expect the market to just go up, that's, I'm sorry, delusional. That's not how the world works. So when I look at where Robinhood was and where it is now, and I think, again, about $19 a share, we have a really great opportunity here. A really, really good opportunity, in my opinion. A lot of investors have gotten involved, and a lot of analysts have also raised their price targets.
You can see here: from 95 to 124 , uh, from 82 to 122. So analysts have raised their price targets. The momentum in the stock has increased. Now we're back down here, despite very good earnings. So I see a huge discrepancy here with Robinhood. And, you know, I've been telling some of my students about the 100 covered call, or even the " poor man's call," which I'll talk a little bit about as well, with an example.
Palantir, that was one of the most compelling strategies that I personally used for Robinhood and Palantir, which we'll talk about later. Let's move on to Palantir stock. Palantir is great. I've been in this stock since the IPO. I've actually been talking about Palantir since September 2020. You can watch some of my videos.
But look, they reported a good profit, as we can clearly see, 17%. The management's vision is coming true. Alex Karp is doing good things. Revenue was $1.94 billion , up 93% year over year . That's crazy, and the market was expecting $1.81 billion . Earnings per share (EPS) was 41 cents versus 34 cents.
And U.S. commercial revenue was up 149%. That's just amazing , guys. That's crazy . Also, U.S. government revenue was up 90% versus last year. And CEO Alex Karp called the quarter “otherworldly .” That was his word for it, okay? He argued that companies are increasingly seeking AI sovereignty, retaining control over their own data and models, rather than relying entirely on large AI labs.
He also criticized the business for focusing on simply acquiring AI tokens or APIs, rather than building long-term AI capabilities. So Palantir not only beat expectations, they also raised their full- year guidance by almost—I can’t even believe it— $500 million, from about $7.66 billion to $8.16 billion.
That’s an incredibly large increase for a company of its size, indicating that management sees demand accelerating. The most impressive number wasn’t even total revenue, but U.S. commercial revenue, which, as I said, grew 149% year over year. $764 million. This shows that AI adoption is rapidly spreading to enterprise customers, not just government agencies.
And that's exactly what I've been saying in every video I've mentioned Palantir. An organization's data is its treasure. Okay, that's what the CEO said . And the value of that is the real alpha. He argued that a company's operational data is its competitive advantage and should be protected, not given to AI model vendors.
So I have a degree in finance, economics, and business intelligence, and in college I focused mostly on statistics because I saw the explosion of data, and my professors said that this data needed to be analyzed by someone, and it was going to have a big impact on business decisions. Okay, and again, this is a confirmation from Alex Karp, and I'm glad I studied it because it's helping me become a better investor today.
I've been extremely accurate in my predictions about Palantir since September 2020, when the company went public. went public. By the way, the CEO went to Central High School in Philadelphia, which I also graduated from, and that's how I learned about the company before the IPO. And I'm happy to be a shareholder in Palantir now.
I think the stock will go up to $170-$180, and I think it will happen in the first half of 2027. Whether you have a large portfolio or a small portfolio, or you're a beginner, I think Palantir is a great opportunity for a "covered call for the poor" strategy. This is a video that I recently created on my channel.
I'm going to give you a quick summary of what a "covered call for the poor" is. It's like a regular covered call, but you use a LEAP option instead of stock to replace your securities with. So, the video will be at the end of this video in a moment. But for Palantir, I'm still I'm optimistic and I think we'll add another $20, maybe $30 over the next, you know, six to nine months.
Now I want to quickly summarize the situation with Nvidia. Nvidia stock is trading at, you know, $208 a share . I like this stock and I trade it every week in my Discord community. I think it's very valuable right now and I personally own a large stake in it. So I'll continue to keep you updated on Nvidia.
There's nothing much going on with Nvidia . The stock is sideways, but there 's earnings later this month . So if you're subscribed, I'll give you an update on Nvidia before they report . And if you want to learn about the "covered call for the poor" strategy that I just mentioned with Palantir, which I'm using right now and which is also in my community.
If you want to learn about the " covered call for the poor" strategy poor people," want to know more about it, the one I just mentioned about Palantir, you can watch that video on the screen right now . Thank you very much for watching, and I'll see you there.
