The latest inflation data shows a value of 6.8 percent for November. This is not only higher than last month, which was already record-breaking, but it's the highest level we've seen in over 40 years. An investor who points out how serious this problem actually is, why the reality is even worse than we think, and why this trend won't change in the near future, is charming.
Understanding the whole topic of inflation and what's currently happening from a micro perspective is incredibly important and will certainly influence Bitcoin and the cryptocurrency market. Therefore, I can only recommend that you pay close attention to this video. Here at Finke Crypto, you'll find almost daily three-minute videos on the topic of probations.
Thoroughly researched, concise, and to the point – everything you need to know in this volatile market in just 180 seconds. Very important: you won't find any financial advice here. To briefly address the topic of palletizing, this person is the founder and CEO of Social Capital. He was also an early executive at Facebook, working there from 2007 to 2011. Personally, I would describe him, in a very simplified way, as a billionaire and high- risk investor. In his latest interview, he talks about how governments are currently manipulating inflation data to conceal how serious the current situation actually is.
He begins by saying that it is very important to understand whether the rising inflation is temporary or will continue in the future. Ultimately, this also determines investor sentiment and, consequently, the course of the markets. He refers to some tweets from Wild Edmonton Blackman, who is also a well-known investor and, in addition, the CEO of Pershing Square Capital Management, a successful hedge fund management company in the USA.
What Bill Ackman addressed in his tweets was that the CPI, or Consumer Price Index, which is used to represent the inflation rate, is actually calculated incredibly poorly. 6.8 percent for November is therefore really inaccurate. If you look at what the CPI is composed of, you come across a very important component called Jonas' equivalents, or OEA, which plays a weighting of a full 30 percent in the CPI.
This army trick is basically how much rent someone can charge someone else, or how this changes year after year. The problem is that this metric in the CPI is simply based on a survey of only a handful of people. This is not only very inaccurate, it's also unnecessary because we already have the exact figures, namely from single- family homes that report these numbers.
The largest owners of single-family homes reported a rent increase of 17 percent year-on-year. However, the figures from the surveys, which are then also included in the CGI, only amounted to 3.5 percent. So there is a really significant difference here. If you now consider the actually correct 17 percent for the The calculation of the Consumer Price Index used shows that inflation in November wasn't 6.8 percent, but actually 10.1 percent.
So we have data sources that the government can't collect or measure, and we have terribly inaccurate econometric models. Therefore, the figures are fundamentally flawed, and that's also why Zermatt or other investors like Batman or Robert Kiyosaki, for example, expect an even worse crash that will negatively impact the club.
It's really hard to say when we might expect such a crash, but with each passing day, the probability increases that this bubble that's currently forming will burst, especially if the data being presented to us is potentially wrong. So that's it for today's news. If you liked this video, please subscribe to the channel.
