ran for the Senate on one issue to ban Tesla's full self-driving technology he is also the guy who went on TV about a year ago and said that he's not a competitor to Tesla and then seconds later minutes later he admitted within that same interview that he provides technology to all major oems and here's what he says now I'm excited to announce that I will be testing Tesla full self-driving in Tesla was successful in a similar case in Delaware so it seems to me that things are really turning around and this is quite important for Tesla's future and this at first appears to be really bad news for Tesla but it's actually great news for Tesla CBS is reporting that the governor of Florida this week approved a new bill which bars Legacy automakers from offering direct to consumer or online sales option if the company already sells vehicles in the state through dealerships that means companies with existing car laws like Ford and General Motors are included in the bed floor is making it even harder for these Legacy automakers to survive there however any person or entity that doesn't already have independent dealerships can sell cars directly according to the law that includes electric vehicle makers such as rivian poster lucid and Tesla if these Legacy automakers are smart they will try to transition away from the dealership model to a direct consumer model and in Florida they will not be able to do that if they do that in Florida it is going to be a difficult and bumpy transition they would basically how to make the shift immediately which is difficult Elon replied to this tweet by saying true we rarely hear sure it's faster and smoother than anything else I've ever driven but you know what would make it better fake engine sound and fake gears to make is good news despite three and a half million barrels a day in Cuts promised why perhaps because countries that promised to cut production did not actually cut countries like Russia for example and Barons is reporting that the tanker data suggests that Russia's vow to cut production by 500 000 barrels per day never happened but also because we are so worried about inflation still low oil prices are good because inflation is going to be lower and that means that rates don't have to go higher maybe they can even be cut on lower rates that means a stock market rallies speaking of Russia they have some really talented engineers and they have this vehicle brand Lada and it can be pretty good and they just made this vehicle right here this is actually a new vehicle and um yeah I think we have nothing to really worry about we can't even make a vehicle that actually starts Gary black expects that we will have more analysts increasing their Tesla stock price so I guess right now as you can see we do have quite a few analysts saying you should buy a Tesla stuff but the problem is their price targets are really low many of them are below where Tesla stock currently is in white here you can see Tesla stock price and in this orangish color you can see 12 month price targets from analysts in yesterday's interview in Paris Elon said that Tesla's market cap is directly tied to Tesla solving full self-driving but currently at this present valuation I don't think that is really the case most analysts don't really believe in fossil growing with a few exceptions for example Tom from RBC does say that most of his Tesla stock price Target actually consists of him assuming the Tesla will one day successfully solve for self-driving but he's projecting that for 2035 and 2040 a long time from now but most analysts they don't put almost any value into their Tesla valuation models that could come from that's the solving full self-driving in the future certainly most of Tesla's value will be based on full self-driving Tesla is discounting Model S's further by 2500 that also includes model x's and this is on top of a five thousand dollar discount introduced a few weeks ago here's the next important piece of news for Tesla stocking attacks produce 10 million 4680 cells this two week and there's some argument about this is it 10 million just produced at Giga taxes alone or does that combine another location that Tesla has and it's a total production of 4680s up until this day it appears to me though that it is more likely that Tesla is specifically talking about Giga taxes only although we are not 100 sure about that 10 million 4680 cells would be enough for maybe about 12 000 model wise and Troy estimates that it would be enough for about 4 000 standard range cyber Trucks Troy also thinks specifically that this 10 million number is specifically just Giga taxes production and it does not include the other planter Tesla makes 4680 batteries and I think that makes sense many are disappointed by how slowly 4680s are being produced but I would like to remind all of you that Tesla did how model free production difficulties at first do so I think we give Tesla some time and it will be just fine this is a really interesting chart U.S luxury brand Vehicles sold and what's particularly interesting about this is imagine if red did not exist on this chart which is sales from Tesla look at how the market would out change it basically without shrunk by a lot when you look at this chart in other words Tesla single-handedly basically saving the luxury us car market well saving from a rather steep decline if you watched yesterday's interview with Elon Musk then you heard him say that full cell driving is going to be sold soon James is going full cat mode on Elon on this and he's not happy with Elon he's saying that he says it damages his reputation but think about this too if Elon stopped saying this then many people will start to think that maybe photos of driving is not coming at all like ever because we are all pretty familiar with elon's time and usually Elon is late but he delivers in the end so if Elon starts to say oh you know autonomy is uh five years from now everyone is going to think it's 30 years from now but yeah I do see where James is coming from Elon should probably even just keep saying what he has been saying for a long time now or he should just refrain from any specific time frames and just say yeah we are making so much progress on Foster driving we made more progress in the last six months let's say than in the last four years something like that like that kind of language would be appropriate I think we have a new picture of what appears to be that refresh model 3 uh in terms of um how the new lights would look in the back and it seems it seems that they would be a little bit more aggressive compared to the previous design this picture of course is just a render so it may not look like this but if it does oh that looks really good to me and it looks fast Tesla is definitely doing a delivery push in Germany it is offering better financing if you order the car now and it also gives you three months of free unlimited supercharging for anyone who thinks delivery before the end of June in China Tesla is also offering a small discount through insurance for new customers that is kind of equals to about eleven hundred dollars and it applies for rear-wheel drive model freeze and you must take delivery before the quarter ends we now possibly have a much better idea why Tesla is having such a difficult time trying to expand in China because the government is not letting tassel expand its Factory in high and that is possibly because the government in China thinks that the EV Market currently is oversupplied and it appears that maybe they don't like the Tesla cut the price says so much but it appears that Elon Musk has made some positive progress during his last visit to China which happened just recently really and we are hearing that positive progress has been made Elon can reach out to the top government officials when he needs to reach out to them if we had someone else other vanilla mask you know maybe that would be a little bit more difficult there's just something that Elon Musk does and verbati does it that makes the Chinese government of officials give him better terms the Shah higher for example is wholly owned by Tesla and is the first and only foreign passenger car plan in China exempt from being operated by a joint venture how did he do it could
