And now, a massive investigation into Congresswoman Ilhan Omar is gaining momentum . Yesterday we learned that she was also investigated by the Obama administration over a decade ago. We're connected with former Acting Secretary of Homeland Security Chad Wolf. Ilhan Omar has been the subject of investigations under two administrations.
When will we finally get some sort of resolution on this? Are the elections coming soon? In four days? Yes, it's very interesting that now there's news that this actually started under Obama, or, excuse me, under the Obama administration, and ended, you know, with that investigation in 2021 under the Biden administration.
So why was it discontinued, huh? The statute of limitations has been cited , as well as a number of other reasons , but whether it's her name, or her age, or her father, or her brother—there are so many open questions here, and that's what the Trump administration is trying to figure out . They are trying to get to the heart of the problem to determine whether there are illegal actions involved, and if so, then, of course, to hold them accountable.
Well , she's up for re-election. She will probably win the election in her district. If she wins, will she be considered a member of Congress with an impeccable reputation? Well, I guess it doesn't change anything until there is an investigation and prosecution. The answer is most likely yes, but then again, just because she might be re-elected next week doesn't mean the investigation will stop, by any means.
And I think all of this leads to a process of denationalization, which the Department of Homeland Security, the Department of Justice, and other agencies take very seriously. And if that happens, then, of course, her ability to be a member of Congress will be under real threat . Um, as you know, riots have apparently broken out across Europe over the past few weeks.
People are speaking out against education systems, rising cost of living. Do you know if there are any international organizations behind these riots, organizing them? Do you know anything about this? Well, it certainly is. What began simply as a student protest turned into something much larger, taken over by organized movements.
There seems to be a report that of the 54 groups that have been identified as the drivers of these events, only 16 are actually student organizations. So, that means they are cruel opportunists. We saw this in the US in 2020: they take legitimate protest, in many cases peaceful, and use it for their own purposes.
So, whether it's communist groups, or Marxist revolutionaries, Islamist groups, etc., they will use this type of outrage for their own purposes. So what we see in Europe through the decline of civilization, I would say through the welfare state, mass migration—the warning here is to not let that happen in the United States.
Well, there are plans for this Saturday, literally tomorrow, and I'm wondering if the same thing could be organized here. I mean, the left would be thrilled with riots three or four days before the election. It could happen here, right ? It could definitely happen here. Again , protests, peaceful protests—that's good , that's one thing, but what we see from these groups over and over again is that they obviously turn to violence in what they want to see and do.
And this is where I think the US, certainly under the Trump administration, is very good at saying that we will not let this happen. We will prosecute, we will arrest these individuals. Not so well in Europe and among the left. Got it. Chad Wolfe, thank you very much for being with us today. It's an important day, and we're grateful for you being here.
