01. The crypto market may be entering its next explosive phase where macro shifts, falling interest rates, and breakthrough technologies collide to create one of the biggest opportunities in financial history. Right now, some of the most influential voices in finance are quietly turning bullish again, and the signals are starting to line up fast.

02. Cathie Wood is pointing to a major shift in macro conditions where inflation could fall, interest rates may drop, and productivity driven by AI begins to surge. At the same time, Bitcoin is starting to outperform gold again, a signal that risk appetite could be returning in a big way. But, what comes next may be even bigger than just another cycle.

03. Tom Lee is connecting a much larger transformation begin to merge into the core infrastructure of the global economy. In this framework, crypto is not just a trade. It becomes the system itself. Payments, identity, and financial settlement all begin moving on chain, and this is where the numbers start to get extreme.

04. If Bitcoin pushes toward 250,000, Ethereum could follow with targets ranging from 12,000 to as high as 60,000, depending on how deeply it integrates into this new system. In this video, we're breaking down Cathie Wood's macro signals, Tom Lee's AI and blockchain thesis, and why this cycle could look very different from anything we've seen before.

05. If these trends play out, the next move in crypto may not just be big, it could be system-changing. ; Bitcoin to gold. Bitcoin is starting to outperform gold again. Gold peaked January 28th, uh the day that uh Warsh was uh announced as um uh the next Fed chairman if Congress approves him. Uh and and he is slightly hawkish.

06. So, uh Bitcoin has been moving up relative to gold. That's that's interesting. And then uh just the last two charts, two or three charts here. This one is still a puzzle. Why is that green line, metals to gold, still going down? Is it China? Is something really uh wrong in China? I don't know if it's just China.

07. Um but it is puzzling, especially uh especially uh now that the gold price has has gone down from nearly I think it was almost Was it $5,600 down to $4,400? Uh we haven't seen a clear turn in this uh in this variable, which is quite interesting. Something very interesting is starting to happen beneath the surface of the market, and it is a signal that has historically marked the early stages of major crypto runs.

08. As Cathie Wood points out, Bitcoin is beginning to outperform gold again. Gold had a strong move earlier this year, driven by uncertainty and a more cautious macro backdrop. But since its peak, momentum has started to fade, and Bitcoin is quietly gaining strength relative to it. This shift matters because gold typically leads during periods of fear, while Bitcoin starts to lead when markets begin pricing in growth, liquidity, and risk appetite returning.

09. At the same time, there is still a puzzle in the system. The broader metals complex is not fully confirming gold's earlier strength. That divergence suggests something deeper may have been driving gold's move, possibly localized demand or temporary dislocations, rather than a sustained global trend.

10. Recent data also adds another layer. Manufacturing indicators have started stabilizing, and in some regions even pushing higher, which signals that global growth may not be as weak as feared just a few months ago. That creates a very different environment for risk assets. When Bitcoin starts outperforming gold while macro data begins to stabilize, it often signals a transition phase.

11. Not the peak, but the beginning of a new trend forming. And if that trend continues to build, the rotation out of defensive assets and back into growth could accelerate much faster than most expect. My guess is that the the the 10-year Treasury yield is probably going to fall because we've had a lot of major forces pushing it up.

12. Not the least is of which has been the recent flare-up in commodity prices. If we're right and supply, the supply side of the economy is coming to the rescue, we're we're probably going to be surprised at um uh interest rates coming down as opposed to going up. And a final chart here, final two charts here, credit default swaps on banks.

13. You know, private credit is this infecting, is it going to be systemic issue? This chart would suggest no, it's not backing up into the banking system. And this is the high yield chart, so junk bonds relative to Treasuries. They're not seeing any any anything on the horizon bothersome. In fact, they're near all-time lows.

14. So, uh the these charts, these last two charts would say nothing to worry about. We know there's a lot to worry about. Uh the market has gone through a bout of volatility here. Uh but if we're right that there's a boom, that inflation is going to resolve uh to the downside after this conflict uh passes, uh and that productivity, profitability is going to increase.

15. Um, we think that's very positive for the equity markets. Uh, and I will say one last thing, profit measures came out for the fourth quarter, uh, and they look very good. Uh, now again, active management's going to be important here. Is uh, margin uh, compression going to be a problem for consumer goods and related companies?

16. Uh, in the short term we think it is. Uh, longer term we think it will be uh, another reason for companies to harness AI and other productivity tools, uh, to to stem decline in margins and and maybe even increase margins in the future. The next piece of the puzzle comes from macro, and this is where things start to shift in a way that most of the market is not fully prepared for.

17. According to Kathy Wood, there is a strong case that interest rates may actually move lower from here, not higher. Over the past year, yields have been pushed up by several forces, including elevated commodity prices and lingering inflation concerns. But those pressures may already be peaking. Supply chains have continued to normalize, energy prices have shown signs of stabilizing, and productivity is beginning to improve as companies lean more into artificial intelligence and automation.

18. If that trend continues, inflation could cool faster than expected. And if inflation falls, the pressure keeping interest rates elevated begins to unwind. At the same time, credit markets are not showing signs of stress. Bank risk indicators remain contained, and high yield spreads are still near historically tight levels.

19. That suggests the financial system is holding up far better than many feared during recent volatility. Corporate profits are also coming in stronger than expected, even with some short-term margin pressure in consumer-facing sectors. Over time, companies are likely to offset that pressure through efficiency gains, especially as artificial intelligence tools become more widely adopted.

20. When you combine falling inflation, stable credit markets, and improving productivity, the setup becomes very different. And if rates do begin to move lower into that environment, it could act as a powerful catalyst that pushes both equities and crypto into their next major leg high; Now, I've put together a list of all the things that work better an AI system using blockchain.

21. Uh but let me just cover a few of these really quickly. One is, of course, identity, decentralized identity. The second is the unit of payment and the payment system. I don't think AI systems care that they're using dollars to collect payments. But they almost certainly don't want to be using PayPal or Visa or MasterCard to do micro payments um because they want to use smaller units of accounts, and that's where crypto comes into play.

22. And what all this means, in our view, is that blockchains should gain relevance against crypto's store value, which is Bitcoin. And so, in our minds, the way to think about the future of Ethereum is its price ratio to Bitcoin. Now, the 8-year average is 0.0479. The high was .087. And what does that mean for the price of Ethereum?

23. Well, we think fair value for Bitcoin is 250,000. And so if Ethereum goes back to the eight-year average, that's 12,000. If Ethereum goes back to its 2021 high of the price ratio, that's 22,000 Ethereum. Of course, I think it's better positioned today than it was in 2021. And so that gets us to what we think is the payment rails number, that Ethereum is going to be roughly a quarter of the value of Ethereum of Bitcoin.

24. And that gets you to 62,000. And that's kind of following uh his the previous historical price cycles, that if you look at the last crypto lows and make a composite of where Ethereum could be in roughly three years, that would be a 30x, and that would take us to around 60,000. The conversation now shifts from macro conditions into something much larger in scope, where technology begins to reshape the structure of finance itself.

25. Tom Lee lays out a view where artificial intelligence is not just a productivity tool, but a system that fundamentally changes how value moves across the internet. As AI systems scale, they are no longer just processing data in isolation. They are interacting with other systems, paying for services, accessing compute, and exchanging information in real time.

26. That creates a need for payments that are instant, low-cost, and able to operate at machine speed. Traditional financial rails were never designed for that kind of continuous microtransaction flow. This is where blockchain begins to enter the picture in a more structural way. Instead of relying on slow, intermediary-heavy systems, blockchain networks allow value to move directly between participants with minimal friction.

27. That makes them more compatible with automated digital environments where transactions happen constantly in the background. Another layer in this shift is identity. In a world where AI agents interact with services independently, verifying identity and permissions becomes critical. Decentralized identity systems begin to offer a way for machines and users to authenticate without relying entirely on centralized gatekeepers.

28. Within this framework, Ethereum starts to look less like a speculative asset and more like infrastructure. It becomes a base layer where applications, payments, and identity systems can operate together. And as that narrative strengthens, valuation models begin to shift away from short-term cycles and toward long-term network adoption curves that expand as usage compounds.

29. I've talked a lot about tokenization in the past, so I'm going to fly through this. Uh you can look at our other presentations about this, but I think we're going through a an important moment in the financial system, not too different than 1971, which is that tokenization is a time when we're making almost every asset synthetic.

30. And it follows a road map that happened when the US went off the gold standard in '71. It led to unleashing a huge innovation of products from money market funds to currency futures, to CDOs, to index futures, all because the US was trying to preserve the sovereignty of the dollar when we went off the gold standard.

31. Well, I think that's happening today because now we're we're digitizing everything. And look, even Jamie Dimon, the biggest skeptic on blockchain, even recently stated that crypto is better than the current financial system. So, what does that mean? Well, I think everyone who's building in crypto is going to develop these future products, and that's stable coins, tokenized equities, you know, tokenized monetary reputation, but it's also really part of the future agentic system.

32. And uh part of this is the Clarity Act, which we hope passes. Uh has a 59% chance of passing. But if it doesn't, I think crypto is actually going to do well without without the Clarity Act, because that just means that companies are going to be building, engineers going to be developing products that are relevant without the banking system.

33. When you zoom out from short-term price action, a very different framework for Ethereum begins to take shape, and it is one that is rooted in structure rather than speculation. Tom Lee builds his valuation case by anchoring everything to Bitcoin first. In a long-term scenario where Bitcoin moves toward the 250,000 level, Ethereum does not need extreme assumptions to justify large upside.

34. It only needs to return to its historical relationship with Bitcoin. Over time, Ethereum has traded within a wide but identifiable ratio range versus Bitcoin. Using its long-term average relationship, Ethereum would land near $12,000 if Bitcoin reaches that anchor level. That is not framed as hype, but as a statistical reversion to historical structure.

35. Then, the model expands further. If Ethereum simply revisits its previous cycle peak strength relative to Bitcoin, the implied value moves closer to $22,000. This reflects a market where Ethereum regains momentum as the primary settlement layer for decentralized applications and tokenized assets. In a more aggressive adoption scenario where Ethereum captures a larger share of financial activity moving on chain, the ratio can expand significantly further.

36. That is where projections begin to stretch toward $60,000, driven not by retail speculation, but by infrastructure level usage. The key driver behind all of this is tokenization. Real-world assets, stable value systems, and financial instruments migrating onto blockchain rails increase the demand for settlement layers that can handle global-scale activity.

37. And once Ethereum is viewed through that lens, it stops behaving like a cyclical trade and starts looking like a core component of the emerging digital financial system. When you put all of these signals together, a larger picture starts to emerge, and it is not just about isolated predictions or short-term price targets.

38. The macro backdrop is shifting first. Inflation pressures are showing signs of cooling, supply-side conditions are improving, and credit markets are not flashing systemic stress. Even after recent volatility, risk spreads remain contained, and that usually signals that the financial system is absorbing shocks rather than breaking under them.

39. From there, liquidity becomes the key driver. If interest rates begin to move lower as productivity improves and inflation continues to stabilize, capital conditions become far more supportive for risk assets. That environment has historically been one where Bitcoin and Ethereum tend to accelerate, not lag.

40. At the same time, the structural narrative is getting stronger. Cathie Wood highlights the macro turning point, while Tom Lee pushes the idea that crypto is evolving into infrastructure, not just speculation. That combination changes how the entire market is being priced. Bitcoin leading gold again suggests early rotation into risk.

41. Ethereum's long-term valuation models point to a system where adoption, not sentiment, becomes the main driver. And the rise of artificial intelligence adds an entirely new layer of demand for blockchain-based settlement and identity system. None of this guarantees a straight line upward. Volatility will still exist, and corrections will still happen.

42. But the underlying structure looks very different from previous cycles. If these trends continue to converge, the next phase of crypto may not just be another bull market. It could be the early formation of a new financial architecture where digital assets sit at the center of global value transfer. .
