Tom Lee talks about tokenization in the event that B minor hits $100, $200, $500 , but I feel like he just announced one of the best examples of how tokenization will change the investment game forever. Welcome to the new video. My name is Danny, and if you've never watched my videos, you may not have been first into Tesla, Palantir, Robinhood, and Nvidia, and now you have a chance to be first into BMNR.
This is the biggest BMNR show on the planet, so you might want to subscribe to be one of my first subscribers who have already bought houses and apartments. And this is a long-term portfolio. We can also trade for you. We never take on anyone as an advertising partner because we believe we have the best product, even when they offer us $50,000, because we have the best product on the market.
If you want to be in the short-term market as well. Today, for example, is a very unstable day. Our professional day traders found a deal that was up over 40 percent. We closed it. You know, some of our members just joined and made $1,000 today , and so, you know, we'd love to see more of you. Go to xdaytrader.com, schedule a call, and become one of perhaps our 500 members who are already doing this.
So, if this interests you, be sure to check it out. Now let's dive into Tom Lee's video, because in a new interview he explains what tokenization is, and sometimes he gives this great explanation of how it will work in the future. A relative view. Maybe we'll move a little more into, I would say, the on-chain world.
You have obviously invested a lot of Bitmain's balance sheet into Ethereum and Ethereum infrastructure. So I was wondering if you could share your broader thesis and in general how you approach this and how you think about tracking that thesis over time? Bitmain has been around for 15 months after launch, which is 15 months of a 10-year business forecast.
And we made a big bet on Ethereum because at the time we thought Ethereum would be the payment rail of the future. We believed that a supercycle was coming for tokenization and cryptocurrencies. And that Ethereum was the most neutral infrastructure due to the size of the developer community. The fact that it has 100% uptime.
And over these 15 months, I think it is developing according to plan. That is, for us, Ethereum continues to be the most neutral infrastructure. I think they show a lot of wins. And the token price is 2700. It has been at the same level for 5 years. And, as you know, the longer the consolidation period, the more powerful the breakout.
So, part of our thesis is that Ethereum is significantly undervalued. And I believe that in this " bullish" cycle, the price could easily reach 25,000 or 50,000 per token. You answered a question my team wanted me to ask . But maybe you can tell me where you think ETH will be at the end of the year.
You know, I think Ethereum should exceed its all-time high. So, I think it will be above 5,000. I think Bitcoin will be worth over 100,000. And if that's the case, then Ethereum, I think, will be around 7,500. And are there any indicators that you pay attention to in the market? What do you typically look at to assess infrastructure usage and have some predictions?
I believe that the crypto industry is a thematic story. I mean, in 2016-2017, the bull market was an ICO story. These were mostly retail investors. But it was massive. It really didn't take many people to get Bitcoin to 18,000. And then, in the 2019-2021 bull cycle , it was all about NFTs, which was a real innovation.
This was again mostly a retail boom, and we saw significant price fluctuations in cryptocurrencies. But this cycle comes at a time when institutions are creating a lot of products, and we are seeing real innovation. For example, today Ondo announced the launch of private markets. These are bigger players, bigger capital.
I think this cycle will be much, much larger than those we've seen in the past. Actually, I think people are not optimistic enough. I expect to see huge changes in cryptocurrency prices. Speaking of institutional investors, what products and areas do you think could attract their capital to the network?
Obviously, the permanent contracts that David was talking about are what's causing interest. This is actually one of the few ways to get 24/7 access to deep liquidity in an environment where many macro events occur on weekends or outside market hours. We launched portfolios. We think this could be an interesting direction.
What, in your opinion, are the areas of application of real assets by institutions that can be transferred to the network and stimulate this cycle? Well, I think investors always like liquidity. They like to move assets cheaper and they value the information advantage. I believe that tokenization has a huge advantage.
Perhaps more importantly, I think tokenization will play a role in asset disaggregation. For example, last week on KBW, the company announced that it was allowing Waymo shares to be traded inside Google. This is a huge innovation that is happening on the blockchain, and I believe it is a kind of mass product.
I think people would like to be able to buy, you know, Elon Musk, or they would like to buy Starlink separately from SpaceX. They want to buy Tesla's autonomous driving system, and I think that's the kind of thing that can really expand the market. So, as you can see, you can tokenize almost the entire company, right?
So you can say, "You know what? I only want to invest in the Google portion of Waymo, okay?" But back when I started investing, you could only buy a whole share, right? You couldn't buy half a share, a quarter, or anything like that. It wasn't even possible, was it? Then came 24/7 trading on Robinhood.
And now you can trade tokenized stocks on the US market even from Europe. You know, now tokenization and blockchain as a payment system is going to be the next big step, and that's why when it becomes the norm at Robinhood and other brokers, it's going to be just incredible, because all of this requires blockchain, you know?
For huge and fast calculations and a large number of tokenized assets, right? On the most successful blockchain, which is Ethereum, right? So, how does it actually work? Imagine you own a company and now you can buy half a share, right? You can trade it for 24 hours, but you can also buy an entire company.
Now imagine you take a company like Tesla and select it over different periods. I only want to be invested in, you know, the part of Tesla that involves Optimus Prime, right? Revenue, profits, growth, and so on. Now you can also invest simply in Tesla robotaxi, right? Investments, growth, profits— you see how much more liquid the market is becoming, because there are so many more interesting opportunities, right?
So, for example, if you want to parse BMNR, you can say, "Oh, I only want to be in Maven ." “Oh, I only want to invest in Mr. projects. Beast, right? So there are so many different things that can be done, it's just incredible— this is the next generation of Wall Street, and that's why Tom Lee emphasizes that this is just the beginning, my friends.
