01. I would be kind of um assuming that government in the US could declare war or go to war in the next six months in which case no elections will take place is a possibility and if there is war it will be used as an excuse for larger deficits and more money printing so I repeat what I said before in the near-term goal will probably go down as well as silver and platinum but I would hold some physical gold as an investor Mark Faber a renowned contrarian investor and the editor and publisher of the Gloom boom and doom report provides a distinctive perspective on investment strategy and the global economic landscape Faber advises that while Gold Silver and platinum might experience short-term declines holding physical gold remains a prudent long-term hedge analysts consistently emphasize that gold will play an increasingly significant role in a multi-polar currency world because it is one of the most liquid monetary Assets in Global Financial markets evidence of the US Dollar's diminishing Global role was seen this week when the trade agreement between the US and Saudi Arabia which established the Petra dollar was allowed to expire recent gold market fluctuations were influenced by algorithmic Traders activities relying on Chinese Central Bank purchases these Traders were unsettled when the People's Bank of China reported no increase in its gold reserves last last month ending an 18-month buying spree despite this gold held critical support at $2,300 on Monday and recorded a 1% gain heading into the weekend Faber also speculates that a stock market crash is unlikely in the near term he believes the Federal Reserve would likely respond with further rate cuts and money printing to stabilize the market he even considers the possibility of the US government declaring war which could suspend elections justify more significant deficits and increase money printing the Federal Reserve deserves aggressive use of its balance sheet during the 2007 to 2009 financial crisis and the 2020 covid-19 Market Panic was a pivotal strategy to stabilize financial markets by absorbing bonds that would otherwise be in the portfolios of asset managers and investment vehicles the Central Bank helped steady the markets however this approach also has costs overextending the balance sheet can prop up demand for risky assets like stocks and cryptocurrencies while stoking inflation dis proportionately affecting wage earners join us as we delve into Mark Faber's insights to stay updated with our latest uploads subscribe to our Channel and activate notifications thank you we have to distinguish between good value which may not move up in the near future like I see some value in Latin America I see some value in Asian stock markets and things that move you understand the market is very focused on near term action so and I'm not saying this is what is good I'm just saying this is what is likely to happen the FED Cuts rates the FED hates Trump they don't want Trump they want to help Biden in the November election so they'll probably cut rates and if the stock market goes down they'll cut them even more so I don't think there is a crash coming or they could be a crash but it's short term because right away they're going to print again number two I would be kind of um assuming that the government in the US could declare war or go to war in the next six months in which case no elections will take place is a possibility and if there is war it will be used as an excuse for l buger deficits and more money printing so I repeat what I said before in the near term gold will probably go down as well as silver and platinum but I would hold some physical gold as an investor and then there is some real estate around the world that is not expensive it's expensive on Prime locations in Beverly Hills and in uh Palm Springs and Palm Beach and these Newport Beach and so forth but it is inexpensive in small towns and in small towns in Europe they give it to you they give it to you if you buy the SNP it's not going to make a lot of money for you in the next 10 years that is unlikely if they print money it will go up but the dollar will go down against gold but you'll probably be better off in stocks than in bonds if they print money in the evolving global economic landscape countries like China and India are increasingly rejecting the notion of a world dominated by the United States as noted by Economist Mark Faber while Faber refrains from judging whether a us-led world order is preferable to one led by Russia or China he emphasizes that these emerging Nations strongly oppose us hegemony a significant aspect of this opposition is Russia's strategic move haaste out the use the US dollar President Vladimir Putin has urged the nation to reduce its Reliance on toxic currencies this shift began in Earnest following the 2022 invasion of Ukraine and the subsequent imposition of Western sanctions these sanctions have spurred Russia to accelerate its efforts to dollarize its economy seeking alternative currencies to mitigate the impact of International Financial restrictions this week Russia announced a significant milestone in its dollarization campaign the near complete elimination of the US dollar in its bilateral trade with China this move underscores the commitment of both Nations to reducing their dependence on the us-led economic system by shifting away from the dollar Russia and China aim to diminish their Reliance on the western dominated Global Currency and sidestep the extensive sanctions that have hampered moscow's ability to engage in international trade let's get back to the interview the world is increasingly divided in two blocks the Anglo-Saxon block under the leadership of the US and Europe plus Japan Australia New Zealand the so-called advanced economies the former Colonial Powers they haven't been able to shake their idea of Supremacy entirely and still travel around the world and lecture countries like China and India about human rights and democracy and and end and then you have the countries that are represented more by the bricks countries China India Russia and so forth these are economically new countries on the Block in the international trading system they weren't involved in international trade until just the last 30 40 years and these countries have become economically very powerful uh they also include 80% or close to 90% of the world's population these countries have a different view of the American neocon view of the world where the world should be ruled by America because America is the best option for the world rightly or wrongly you understand I'm not giving a judgment here I'm just telling you that countries like China and India will not accept a world ruled by America it may be the best option for the world to be ruled by America instead of being ruled by Russia being ruled by China I don't know these countries they strongly oppose this kind of hegemony of the United States Faber's insights underscore the importance of diversification and caution in investment strategies as the global economic landscape evolves the potential shifts in currency dominance and Central Bank policies highlight the need for investors to stay informed and adaptable how do you view the future role of gold in a multi-polar currency world
