Welcome back. To Crypto's R Us, I'm George. We're all George. Hey, I didn't know when this happened. Tucker Tucker Carlson He interviewed Peter Schiff. Look at Peter Schiff's face after this. Clearly there needs to be a new global reserve currency. You don't want it to be one owned by a geopolitical rival.
So why wouldn't Tether, why wouldn't Bitcoin be the new global reserve currency? Clearly there needs to be a new global What was his face like this? He's so anxious to answer that. But you know, it's true, right? If you wanted to create or adopt a new world currency, of course you want a non-sovereign one.
You want one where no nation really controls it. And Bitcoin fits into that perfectly. It can't be freaking gold because think about how hard it is to spend gold or transfer gold. Right? It It has to be some kind of digital currency. And if you need it to just be a reserve, like to back your dollars, for example, Bitcoin's even better.
So, um I think people just don't think about things like that. Anyways, just interesting. Uh what else is interesting? Coinbase base premium index is starting to go upwards. In fact, it is positive now. And what does that mean? Well, that means a lot of retail buyers are coming back. Uh premium index sometimes goes negative when a lot people are selling, goes positive when a lot people are buying, right?
So, basically that's all that matters. Is are people buying? Are people coming back? And yes. And I haven't looked at this for a while. This confirms. Look at the fear and greed index. Just last week we were extreme fear. Last month I mean, we were in like I had to say like suicide zone, way beyond extreme fear.
Now we're coming back up to fear. And if we can break into the 80s and 90s, we're going to get into neutral and finally get out of the fear zone. We're slowly coming out of it. And this again is part of the bottoming process. It's becoming more and more clear and confirmed that 60k was our local bottom.
Not local bottom, cycle bottom. Winter bottom. And we've been slowly recovering. And now we're getting to the point where we're almost 100% certain that that was bottom. Once we get to 80s and 90s, that's 100% confirmation. But this is part of it. It's still not too late to get in if you've been sitting on the sidelines or you're thinking about coming in for the first time and you're just like not sure.
This is part of it. Every single time we have these bottoming processes and crypto winter bottoms and local bottoms and all these bottoms that we have after major volatility, this is what happens. Fear goes from extreme fear and it starts rising. Right? You have the Coinbase premium that's going positive.
You have a lot of buying from Wall Street and institutions. Look at this. BlackRock spends 900 million on the Bitcoin purchase. And let's not forget Saylor's insane two-point-something billion just yesterday. It's all adding up. All adding up. And those shorts, those bears that are clinging on thinking that we can retrace once again, well, they're getting liquidated.
That's what That's what's happening. Half a billion basically liquidated in the last 24 hours. And most of that is on the short side. It's clear what's happening. So, don't don't be caught holding on your shorts. And don't be sitting on the sidelines too long if you still are. All right. What else? Last few things, let's see.
Bitcoin whales stack 217 million bid wall. Uh so that's $80. Again, that's part of the TA that I'll get to before Q&A. But you still have these local resistances to break, right? And that's where these bid walls are. And the good thing is once you break them, you just like zoom up to the next wall. That's generally what happens.
And I think we broke one today at 78,000. So that's why it's looking very, very positive. And we'll look at the charts in a little bit to see the next levels. Uh few TA stuff. Bollinger bands looking pretty darn good. Okay, you can see we're still, even with our recent recovery, we're still on the lower end of the band.
This is zooming out, okay? This is on a monthly scale. And if you look at it, if you look at the band, we're at the bottom. We're nowhere close to the top. So again, when you ex- hit either side of the band, the top or the bottom, that's generally when you flip below. Sometimes you can trend there for a while.
Look at the bull markets. You can see how Bitcoin keeps hugging that upper trend line, right? But right now, we're definitely coming up from bottom. So that's one major indicator. Uh bull score hits six-month high. That's pretty good. I don't actually know what makes up the bull score, but it's kind of the same thing.
During weakness, you have the bull score go very low. And now it's starting to come back up. Again, part of any recovery process from the bottom. We have a lot of metrics, a lot of indicators, signals that all say the same thing. Outside of Bitcoin, Bitmain continues to buy and buy and buy and buy. And Tom Lee already holds 4%, more than 4% of ETH in existence.
Although ETH doesn't have a set cap, it does inflate. But he's buying way faster than it's inflating. So that's That's the reason. I think his overall goal is 5%. So he's like nearly there. I don't think he's going to stop. Now Bitmain doesn't have the same thing that Strategy has. Doesn't have some kind of feedback perpetual loop to generate infinite amount of money to buy.
But right now it does seem like he still has something because he's buying a ton of Bit- I mean, Ethereum every single week. So we'll see if he can figure something out, just like Strategy, where he can keep selling shares and use that money to keep buying ETH. It would make a huge difference. Huge difference.
