everybody this is papaya Chino for path trading partners a lot of my co-founder Mike Arnold it is August 23rd and this is a quick individual stock update covering Tesla and Tesla only and the reason is we had a double bottom pattern a path trading double bottom it's a very specific set of rules to that pattern it's not just two bottoms you'll hear people talking financial news and and you'll hear other people say I think that's double bottom or there's two bottoms there so it's a double bottom we have a very specific set of rules that gives us high probability to our path trading double bottoms and Tesla was one of them now one of the specific rules that we have is that when it reaches our stop reduction target we move our stop up and Mike will explain the levels on Tesla when that happened but another of the various Trek rules is we don't get out till it's done so it came back down below our entry and now it's moving back up but we don't know if it's going to go to our ultimate target or not but our original risk to reward was better than 1 to 1 so more than one unit of reward for one unit of risk and when we move our stop up after reaching our stop reduction target when we tighten our stop so that the risk is less that ratio gets even better and we don't care how long a pattern takes to play out because no matter how long it takes to play out you make the same amount of money or lose the same amount of money as you would have had it happen quickly now the only caveat to that is when it reaches a stop reduction target you actually lose less so we let patterns play out and Tesla could be a good teaching moment it's definitely a good teaching moment for us right now because it went down did not touch our reduced stop level and now is moving back up but I've said enough let me turn it over to Mike to let you see exactly what I'm saying on the charts Mike tell yours so update Tesla entered the long on the close above this got up to the stop production area right around this 36.7 then came back down and we reduced their stop from below 3:19 on the closing basis to below 3:30 86 on a closing basis so our stop was reduced it then formed this double top which triggered so we exited our abang and this is all mentioned on the podcast hit all the targets we re-established our long still gonna stop out if it did close below 330 86 it did not and now so far it's moving back up to just about where that short double was entered or the removal of the long so that's the way it still sits we covered this on the weekend stock chat we also talked about it on the podcast just giving you a quick update the targets for that now let me just update them so the target for Tesla is still 380 78 or a stop low 338 e6 that's all we have for you back to you Bob thanks for that Michael consistency discipline consistency of action that's what produces successful trading results over time anyone can make money quickly in a short period of time by just flipping a coin but if your actions are consistent then you can make money over the long term once you get them in a process that is profitable for you this is Bobby Chino thanks for watching please don't like and subscribe thank you to Mike Arnold for the analysis and we'll talk to you in the next patch at cheers guys
