01. assalamualaikum everyone welcome back to another video I hope you're having a wonderful day in today's video we are looking at again a another Super investor but this time we're looking at Terry Smith last video we looked at the gold and guy called Chris hon I will show you his portfolio I forgot to share that with you at the end of that video so I'll share it with the video um his portfolio as well towards the end and how much of these companies that we talked about in that video he owns and so on but Terry Smith is one of those investors who I genuinely love listening to every time I watch a video of him on YouTube and other places he makes sense okay this guy is a fun manager so they have he's this is not his money he is managing other people's car money he actually has a website you can go to um Finance mid Equity Fund and in there you can find all the companies that he owns in that portfolio that he's basically asset manager for these people and his return is actually quite good and one thing I love about him is when he's speaks about investment he makes it sound very simple but he will give you the details that he's looking for in a company which is quite nice because a lot of these investors will give you advice just based on what they think you want to hear but he will tell you don't invest in this company because of this and this and invest in this company because of this and that which is really quite good to have so what we want to do now is we'll look at six different companies the Australia compliant that he has in his portfolio this is not an investment kind of advice or anything what I would like you to do if you like any of the companies that we're going to talk about today go and learn about it okay and if you then obviously happy with that then start investing in your own risk okay remember investing in the stock market is very risky thing and but before we do that if you can give the videos a like that would be really helpful it takes a lot of time and you know to put these videos together just to share with the community and the reason I'm doing this is kind of a little bit of entertainment a little bit at the same time to see what other these guys who've got billions of dollars are investing in and for us if we can finally through our compliant companies within those companies that they invest in then I listed them we can potentially end up getting some sort of similar returns to these people inshallah in the long run so before I do that also it would be really amazing to see you join us in the patreon if you haven't already please join us um there's two different categories you can look at okay there are actually different benefits that you can receive based on this one of the things that I want you to do if you join us okay join us the Discord create account if you don't have one we want to grow that Community inshallah we want to grow this community as much as we can I've been sharing quite a lot of information in there including the sales that I made the last couple of days so I will be sharing that with you tomorrow inshallah maybe next day to go through all the sales that are made what I've done with that money and so on and yeah in short life you will like that kind of transparency you know stay in touch and at inshallah add this channel to you group of channels that you actually watch and so on let's get started with the first company and there's no surprise the first company is Microsoft everyone knows this company is the sick and tired of hearing Microsoft it's almost a two trillion dollar market it has a two trillion dollar market cap it has a wide economic more 256 dollars per share dividend is not great but it actually increases every single year they have been doing that for 12 years okay the payout is very low to only 29 and 12 years of increasing that dividend you get about 2.72 cents for every share you own safety is absolutely perfect that's the highest you can get on profit margin of 33 and 90 uh 39 of return on equity which is quite good right now they've got about 60 billion dollars and when it comes Total return in the last 10 years basically it's about 25 okay one of the things that I've always said to you guys is make sure you buy if you're buying a company make sure they have excellent free cash flow this is really important especially if they are dividend paying stock because this money is the money that they will use to pay you um dividends they will use that money to buy back their own shares to pay off any debt to acquire other companies to you know basically create more revenue for the business and so on to expand the business and so on okay so it's very important free cash flow is one of the most important things that I look for um when it comes to investing in companies the other thing is the next five years next year they expecting about 15 growth in terms of earnings and then 12 after that for the next five years again remember this comes from the analyst so you have to just be careful it doesn't mean it's going to happen but even if the company grows 10 next year and then 10 years after that's still decent right money start right now saying it's about 20 discount 310 dollars per share is where the price should be the next company is still loaded this is the one of the biggest makeup companies out there it's 109 90 billion dollar market cap it has wide economic model 250 two dollars per share dividend is quite low but the latest increase was ten percent five year growth rate of 12 payout ratio 47 okay considering they're paying this model and the reason why is 47 is because of this less than a billion dollar free cash flow here okay um 70 safety eleven percent profit margin and 36 return on Equity 16 um totally in the last 10 years and 47 expected to grow the earnings 47 which is very very high then seven percent after that right now it's about seven percent discount 273 dollars per share it's the where the price should be this is really a good company but it's one of those companies you look at the free cash flow you're like I don't want to touch until this at least it becomes 2-3 billion although it covers definitely the dividends okay definitely covers that but it's still yeah it's still too low I would like these companies especially this type of companies retail sometimes if the people are not even being right if there's a recession and people are worried about eating why will they go to these companies to buy all the makeup this company owns a lot of the makeup brands out there so they do make a lot of their money from our wives and sisters and so on right so next company we're looking at is a night is 100 and by the way the the reason why I've put the reason I put these companies in this order is basically the his biggest companies for basically the highest to the lowest so I've ranked them in that order okay he does have other share compliant companies but I want you to focus on on these six and I'll show you his entire portfolio in a second next company is Nike 194 billion Market copy has wide economic mode 124 dollars per share dividends just one percent as well latest increase it by 11 one thing I've noticed so far I'm looking at this right not he's not worried about the individual yield okay you can see that it is quite low because a lot of invest some investors do actually worry more about the yield is you can see three percent of four percent five percent but this guy's not too worried about some of these big biggest companies are actually just yielding one a percent so that's quite interesting but eleven percent latest grease and um uh increase and then 11 five-year growth rate of 11 34 payout ratio which is quite low 20 years of increasing that dividend 1.36 is what you will get 99 safety in profit margin of 13 return on Equity 15 free cash flow 1.7 um 8 billion which is quite nice um and then Total return is the last um 10 years we're looking about 17 percent and then 27 in this cup basically a year and then seven percent after that seven percent discounted right now 134 dollars per share is um basically the Target price or the fair value this is as we know is one of the biggest companies it is great company in terms of the product today on um I'm sure you own some like shoes or I don't know jumpers or something that this company makes so everybody buys their product so it's very well known obviously um next one is a striker this company deals with the medical devices side of things it's very similar to medtronics um almost 100 billion dollar market cap it has one economic 263 dollars per share is where the price should be um what it is right now I'm not one percent again when dividend yield of 1.14 almost eight percent increase in the latest increase and then five year growth rate of 10 payout ratio only 30 have increased that even in 31 years so this company is a dividend Aristocrat annual um basically are companies that have increased the dividend for 25 years or more annual payout we're looking at thirty and three dollars safety ninety percent profit margin 18 return on Equity of 96 last call in 97 2 billion dollars of free cash flow 16 um Total return in the last 10 years next year they're expecting the earnings to grow eleven percent then nine percent two percent premium right now so which is not bad at one point this company was so over value so it has come down quite a bit and 200 per share is where the price should be right now 260 so it needs to come down a little bit I think so it's it is kind of fair valued right now I'll be honest with you in terms of next company we're looking at our product uh no and not ADP automatic data processing 96 billion dollar market cap this is one of the companies that I own in my portfolio it has wide economic 228 dollars per share it has a different yield of just over two percent and 20 latest increase was 20 five year growth rate of 13 payout ratio 58 47 years of increase in that dividend so three more years they will become a dividend King which is companies that have increased that dividend for 50 years in a row without stopping whether there was recessions or no recessions they have been increasing annual payout we're looking 5.97 safety 10 profit margin return on Equity about 15 2.93 billion dollars of free cash flow 16 total return in the last 10 years 11 growth next year and then 13 years after fairly value right now 228 dollars per share is where should the price should be the next company is a company we have not spoken about much or in this journal that's my comic um and Company this company sells a lot of spices and seasoning mix and so on flavored products and to food and food to the food industry I'm currently um two it has a 20 billion dollar market cap so it's quite a small company it has wide economic mode 75 dollars per share is whereas right now dividend yield of just above two percent latest increases 5.4 percent five year growth rate of 10 58 payout ratio dividends through 36 years so another different Aristocrat 1.5 six dollars of different annual dividend safety eighty percent which is quite good profit margin 15 return on Equity about 16 they only have 389 million of free cash flows so that's quite low for my liking but that it does cover the dividends Total return in the last 10 years we're looking at 10 next year we're looking at about 11 growth and then 0.3 growth which is quite strange from 11 to that so the business must be either declining or maybe I don't know I don't know something is going on with that so it'd be interesting to look at a bit more detail and maybe one thing I do is when I find out something like this from the analyst and I go back to the company website look at the latest earnings report and then check what the company is forecasting going forward because these guys can sometimes obviously as we now over exaggerate because they do like certain stocks they'll tell you they go into the moon and then others might not so you just need to look at that if you can't find anything in the filings then obviously do look around other websites and so on right now it's 22 premium so it's quite expensive 62 dollars per share is where it should be right now is 50 um seven dollars seventy five dollars per share right so in terms of sharia compliance okay as always there's no issues this is the only one I've always said to you guys Microsoft um although Zoe gives it 33 I think is way more than that in terms of probably say 97 98 Sharia compliant when it comes to the business side of things but that is going to change because of gbt and the fact that Bing is now becoming I don't know if it's I've been using it here and there and it looks okay but I don't know if if the if a lot more people switch from Google to Bing then we might have to sell this company because then it will definitely attract a lot more advertisers and then they will advertise all sorts of products and for that reason that's the only reason basically that it has 93 business activities side of things but the rest of them are fine um this one here is got the highest interest pair in debt so I would say probably the not great one to touch on if you are thinking about it maybe wait until this basically until they come down quite a bit in terms of earnings but if they come down remember what happens the interest bearing that goes up so again it doesn't work out so this one probably not a great investment I would say but the rest of them seem really good companies very well established and this one obviously is the smallest of all of this right let me show you then his actual portfolio so like I said the website's called Data Roma Terry Smith fundsmith is the actual thing and they reported this obviously the latest earnings that they've reported um obviously remember this is like a kind of backward backward looking because they this was for the last quarter so what he's done in the last quarter so he's actually got Microsoft it was like almost the 10 of his overall portfolio and as you can see he made some sales on that one 2.3 whether he was taking some profit of the table or just rebalancing whatever whatever he's done he's done some work on there again um Estee laud is also sold about 4.6 percent of that company Striker reduced a little bit air product it can be um automatic data processing is done exactly the same thing coming is also done the similar thing so he kind of trimmed to all majority of these companies including Pepsi and so on trimmed to quite a lot of them and then bought a little bit of Apple a little bit of other companies like Home Depot jnjs and so on so it's added to some of these companies he probably thinks is undervalued and sold some of these companies that are probably overvalued and this is what these guys do they are obviously to using someone else's money they're managing somebody else's money so they have to take some profit off the table buy more of the companies that they feel like they're undervalued and so on and it looks like he's probably starting new position in this company but as you can see here this is the percentage of the portfolio so 10 is Microsoft and then Philip Morris and then so on so so I took the top 10 if you like companies companies that we have not spoken about Visa we talked about in the last video so that's why I didn't want to include but there are other companies like Adobe that he owns owns Google meta Amazon and then so on smaller companies as well these companies in the Cyber Securities and so on so again overall I genuinely like if you haven't learned much about this guy go and find out a bit more information about him um he's really one of the best investors out there okay his returns are actually quite good and I like how he speaks about investment in general the next com the next thing I want to show you is the when it comes to Chris Hoyne I didn't I forgot to show you in the last video so here we go again he owns quite a bit of Microsoft this is his portfolio as you can see here are some of the companies that we spoke about if you haven't seen that video go and watch the video so you can see some of the companies that he owns and the details of their financial side of things okay but yeah there you have it so those are the two um fine basically Financial grooves that we've spoken about or the super investors if you like what I will be doing inshallah in the next couple of days I will be answering your questions that's one thing I'm going to do tomorrow inshallah and then reveal some of the sales that I made recently because um alaka said I've made two sales and they were actually quite huge I made some losses and some gains and so on so I'll explain those things as well just to be in transparent with you guys like I've always been if you're enjoying the content and you enjoying what you see here please like the video subscribe to the channel let me know if you have any questions and definitely join us when it comes to the um the Discord please it will be nicer to have a lot of you there if you haven't subscribed to their patreon please do that as well it really helps the channel okay it takes a lot of time and effort to put these things together so it would be really nice to be appreciated have a wonderful day assalamu alaikum
