Listen to me very carefully. Gold just flash crashed. Silver got destroyed. And while the financial media is telling you to panic, I'm telling you to get your wallet out because we are about to make serious money. When there's blood in the streets, you buy. The flash crash in gold and silver isn't a disaster.

It's a wealth transfer event, and you're either going to be on the winning side or the losing side. You think you're doing fine because you have a job, maybe some money in a 401 kilobits, maybe a house with a mortgage that owns you instead of you owning it. But here's the cold hard truth. If all your wealth is denominated in dollars, you don't have wealth.

You have a depreciating asset that the government is systematically destroying through money printing. Since 1971, when Nixon took us off the gold standard, the dollar has lost over 95% of its purchasing power. 95%. Let that sink in. Your grandfather could buy a house for $30,000. That same house cost you half a million today.

Did the house get better? No. Did wood and brick suddenly become scarce? No. The currency became trash. Cash is trash. It's been trash for 50 years and it's getting trashier by the day. But you don't hear about this because the system needs you to stay asleep. They need you to keep your money in their system, in their banks, in their stocks, so they can use it, lend it, leverage it, and profit from it while you get the crumbs.

The financial industry spent billions of dollars convincing you that gold is a barbberous relic, that it doesn't pay dividends, that it's just a shiny rock. They want you to think that the only way to build wealth is to stay in their rigged game. Meanwhile, central banks around the world are buying gold at record levels.

China's buying gold. Russia is buying gold. India is buying gold. But they tell you not to. Does that make sense to you? The people who control the money are buying gold, but they're telling you to buy bonds and stocks. Wake up. You're being played. And the reason most people don't own precious metals isn't because they can't afford them.

It's because they've been brainwashed into being consumers instead of investors. You'll spend $200 on sneakers you don't need, $5 every morning on coffee you could make at home, and thousands on a vacation to post pictures on social media, but suggest that someone buy an ounce of gold and suddenly they can't afford it.

Stop being a victim. Stop making excuses. The reason you're broke is because you buy garbage you don't need with money you don't have to impress people you don't like. And while you're doing that, the smart money is accumulating real assets. Now, let's talk about what just happened in the precious metals market and why this flash crash is actually a gift.

Flash crashes happen when there's a massive sudden sell-off that triggers algorithmic trading systems and creates a cascade of selling pressure. In the gold and silver markets, these crashes are often manipulated events. Banks and large institutions use the futures market to dump massive amounts of paper gold and paper silver, driving the price down artificially.

They're not selling physical metal. They're selling paper contracts. It's a con game. And it works because most trading in precious metals isn't actual metal changing hands. It's paper shuffling. For every ounce of physical gold that exists, there are probably a 100 paper claims on that same ounce. It's fractional reserve banking applied to commodities.

And when everyone tries to claim their gold at once, the system breaks. Banks have been fined multiple times for manipulating the gold and silver markets. JP Morgan paid nearly a billion dollars in fines for spoofing the precious metals market. They admitted it. This is public record. So when you see a flash crash, don't panic.

Understand what's happening. The smart money is using fear to buy from the scared money. And you have a choice. Be the scared money or be the smart money. History is very clear on this. In 1980, when the Hunt brothers tried to corner the silver market and it crashed from $50 an ounce to under $10, the people who bought in the aftermath made fortunes over the next decade.

In 2008, during a financial crisis, gold crashed from over $1,000 to 700. People who bought that dip saw gold go to $1,900 by 2011. Flash crashes are not the end. They're the beginning of the next major move up. The numbers don't lie. Let me tell you my philosophy on precious metals because there's a lot of nonsense out there.

Gold and silver are not get-richqu schemes. They're insurance. They're wealth preservation. When I allocate capital to precious metals, I'm not looking to double my money in six months. I'm looking to protect my purchasing power over decades. That's the difference between investing and speculating. Most people speculate.

They buy something hoping it goes up tomorrow so they can sell it and feel smart. Investors buy assets that will protect them and grow wealth over time, regardless of what the market does in the short term. In my portfolio, I hold a percentage in precious metals at all times. The exact percentage depends on market conditions.

But I'll tell you this, I never go below 10% and I never go above 25% of my total portfolio in gold and silver combined. Then there's the tax and legal side. In the United States, gold and silver are considered collectibles by the IRS, which means when you sell, you pay capital gains at collectibles rates, which can be higher than long-term capital gains on stocks.

Plan for this. Keep records of what you paid and consider holding some precious metals in a self-directed IRA if you want. Tax deferred growth. You can do this legally. The debt crisis is permanent. The loss of confidence in the dollar is permanent. Those are the trends that matter. This dip is noise.

So get off the couch, stop waiting for the perfect moment, and start accumulating real assets.
