This week I came to APEC uh because President Lee invited Nvidia to be here and uh we have a lot of good news, a lot of great news for Korea, a lot of great news between me and my many great partners.
And so, uh, I promised President Lee I was not going to tell the good news before he does. Okay. So, I'm saving it for him to announce. So, could you keep up with some hints for tomorrow? I'm going Okay, let me give you some hints. the the news would probably be related to AI, maybe robotics and absolutely 100% related to Korea.
Okay. Okay. Next question. Hi. Number. Can I get the number? Number. Yeah. number. My number is 408. Hello. Um are you in talks with um US or China to resume sales of your chips in China? Uh the talks between United States and China are completely in the hands of President Trump. As you know, he he is the a great negotiator and a great dealmaker.
And President Xi, the two of them have an excellent relationship. It's completely in their hands and I have every confidence they're going to do everything they can to um make the best deals for their own countries and so I'm I'm uh looking forward to hearing about it just like you are. I see. So there's one more question.
Are you planning to be president during your stay in Korea? Uh I I have a lot of meetings while I'm here in Korea. I'm looking forward to meeting meeting uh many many leaders. Next question. Uh-huh. Apparently, there are many there are many Nvidia investors in Korea. Is that true? Really? 5 years ago. What price did you buy at?
5 years ago. Five years ago. So 5 years ago you bought at what price? $5. $10. I buy $15. That's too low. Oh, it made you rich. What are you What are you going to do with all your money? I buy Tesla and Nvidia. I love them. Wow. Anybody else Nvidia investors? That's why Korea is so rich. So, do I have any messages for Nvidia investors?
As you know and I'm now now I'm going to talk very serious. Okay. As you know Nvidia 30 years ago started to invent to create a new way of doing computing. We call it GPU accelerated computing. It took us 30 years to realize this vision and now this is recognized now as the future. And so we are seeing every computer company, every cloud, computers everywhere shifting to the NVIDIA architecture.
And so we are at the beginning of a decadel long platform shift and the future is going to be very bright for us. Uh it's going to be very bright for artificial intelligence and I'm looking forward to realizing the future together. So I want to thank all of you for being uh such incredible investors and incredible supporters of our company.
You you also know that a long long time ago Nvidia's first market was PC gaming and Korea was the heart of a new revolution called esports. And between us we made esports a global phenomenon. And so Nvidia has been in Korea for a very long time. GeForce in every PC bung. And so we g we grew up together.
I want to thank all of you. I want to thank [cheering] one more question. You have been with the NIA journey every step of the way. I love you guys. Thank you. [cheering] Okay. after the company reached five $5 trillion market value. Um, say it again. I can't hear you. Do it one more time. So, your business the day after the company reached $5 trillion market value.
Do you think the company is still undervalued or what do you think of the AI is like bubbling and the concern of the market? So, did you hear her question? Her question is, uh, I came to Korea the day after Nvidia reached $5 trillion, as you know. As you know, and I'm very, very, uh, very grateful and very honored that Nvidia is the first company in history to reach $5 trillion.
He was walking. He was walking. The the facts the facts are the facts are that artificial intelligence is the most impactful technology of our time. It is the most impactful technology of all time. This is very likely going to be the largest technology industry the world's ever known. And so is it possible for Nvidia to be much larger than us today?
I think the answer is absolutely so. And so I look forward to continuing to work hard and I thank all of you for your support. The future is is really really quite amazing with artificial intelligence for healthc care and transportation and manufacturing and just every single field of science. It it will impact every single industry and so it will be the largest single industry the world's ever seen. Thank you guys.
