talk about dr michael bury once again you know talking about this bull run being like another bull trap situation he throws out some data regarding the 2000 financial kind of collapse the dot-com bubble and how that relates to the current market environment yeah i feel like it's kind of entertaining stock market content whereas two super guys trying to figure everything out your lives mm-hmm so you know we've been talking about this for a while you know still long-term uh market valuation trends are still pretty pretty high pretty elevated um and we had that kind of decent you know bear run for a little bit and now it's kind of faded back the other direction the interesting thing here is talking about like the cpi number that came out this week a little bit and and showed that maybe we're getting a peak in cpi but he's gonna actually imagine data point regarding that too okay all right so this is this is the basic tweet here for this whole kind of discourse is that uh you know which we are now up 13 from like the the most recent stock market bottom and the question is is that like 75 this like a new bull run and he's like who basically who makes this stuff up apparently some more stupid guys on youtube probably not this particular two stupid guys but not yet um yeah that there were seven times where they had a bull uh a bull run during the sell-off from the dot-com you ignorant yeah yeah insane right yeah that's seven i don't know who would say that if you're up 20 from a low that makes a bull market that doesn't make any logical sense um yeah i don't know i know you're gonna do a separate video talking a little bit about um kind of the uh the stark analysis that chart analysis a little bit but uh this is another point he brought out too since we saw this whole thing about cpi now coming back from the peak a little bit this week um i this was an interesting point to me i didn't know this but he said each of these massive inflationary like time periods in the united states all had like three distinct inflationary peaks did you know that i did not actually no this ties it a little bit with stuff he's talked about before on this like bullet effect you know the kind of these waves or phases coming through the market uh where you're going to see kind of switches back and forth between like these two extremes as the market has to deal with supply chain disruption and uh kind of hopefully it returned back towards like a more normal two percent inflation rate um so this is the cpi chart that came out and you notice we finally kind of came back down from the peak here a little bit uh that that's the uh the interesting part that why the stock market was so enthusiastic at the end of this week yeah was that maybe we peaked if the thought it's still bad i don't understand why people are like yes yeah it's only 8.8 or five or whatever it was it still sucks let's take a look 3.5 it was predicted to be 8.7 um but yeah it's still very very elevated no no doubt but that that whole point about the the three different peaks was i thought was interesting point and then also like you know he kind of reiterates everything he's talked about before um regarding this bullet effect he actually you know cited this article here that he's written about a previous two of his own which is kind of a cool little like uh inception like a world where he makes a tweet someone writes an article about it then he tweets the about the article that was written about his tweet maybe he'll recognize our youtube channel at some point and talk about the video about the article about the tweet about the art just to be clear just to show you how this is off topic i literally just saw qt cycles and in my mind i thought he was trying to relate this uh to qt prolongation and that doesn't mean that's a medical thing sure yeah that's not really gonna help but i also saw this kind of interesting polls joseph carlson if those of you don't follow him it's a big youtube channel here i actually like his channel um but he brought this little poll about whether or not we thought this was a bear market rally uh of course this is not mine so i indicated yes i thought it was a bear market rally uh but that apparently means that i'm in the majority as far as this poll goes so which is what that does not make me feel good right yeah so i i also i think that this is a bear market rally and i think they're going to go lower but you don't want to be in the in the group where everyone thinks that because then it usually does the opposite and that does not make me feel super awesome yeah yeah see the video about you called i'm an idiot um this is a ratio of the put call ratio here and it's kind of cool how much this lines up where you get these massive spikes in the put call ratio right at like the the market bottoms um so if you see here we did get a nice spike up right when like the s p was kind of making that bottom here we did see a couple sequential ones here uh some market made lower and lower kind of lows um right now we're here to back down so this is definitely a period of more optimism amongst the stock market i think i'm not really sure how well you'd be able to use this in real time um but i think this could be a cool indicator in in terms of when it would be an ideal time to start buying call options because that's that would be the trade i mean i feel like this is a fairly lagging indicator but i mean one thing if you look at the last um like big drops we did not hit above 1.2 like those other peaks for this previous drop so i mean to me that would say that we haven't hit it yet a low oh yeah i would agree like i'm gonna talk about a little bit but the other thing here this is market sentiment if you notice we're kind of an increasing increasing trend right now of more and more bullishness throughout the market as far as like how is based upon investor surveys um and one thing i did look back at it was this one-year historical data in terms of when it lined up with the market and um the bullish data right here for november 10th pretty close to hit the market peak the bearish one was not though it was way too early the market uh actually hit the low so far for the year um uh like six weeks or so after this so yeah it was not a good indicator for that port so i mean right now it seems like it's fairly balanced right i mean that those are that's about as close as you can get all 30 i would say relatively reasonable but you know it's not a it's not a data point that i've been tracking for a long period of time i just i thought the little trend recently of increasing bullishness was it was good so you know what you got to go ahead and do some crazy stuff sometimes and and go ahead and go bullish even though you think the market's overvalued i guess so we see the video looking at the most important indicator in all of chart analysis and uh how that may come into play here so yeah all right look forward to hearing about it all right guys let us know you think in the comments below later
