Biden plans to reform the Supreme Court at the same time as we're trying to figure out what the heck does kamla Harris even stand for in this video I'm going to briefly touch on what's going on with Joe Biden's plan to reform the Supreme Court what is kamla Harris's stated campaign mission what will she do as president and how is that going to differ from Donald Trump and does quote unquote laughing kamla hurt or benefit kamla Harris we're going to through all three of these topics in this video I do want to disclaim though it has been very difficult to try to understand what KL Harris's plans are because if you actually Google kamla Harris for president you have to get through the ACT blue which is the Democratic donation website to donate to kamla Harris you get past news articles then you get Joe biden.com kamla Harris's Instagram but you don't anywhere on the first page of Google actually get KLA Harris for PR president however if you do go to kamah harris.com you'll be greeted by this squeeze page which only allows you to donate if you do end up pressing close because you want to learn more about her policies there's literally nothing on her president or her presidential campaign on her policies there's take action which would be like hey you want to volunteer with us you want to host an event you want to donate money you want to buy T-shirts you could do that you want to donate you could could do that but there's nothing on KLA Harris's policy now I can't necessarily back on this because quite frankly if you can have a website like this with no plan or information and raise $200 million which the Harris Camp just did maybe people don't care about policy but I do so I had to do a lot more digging and let's just say it took quite a bit of time this is a summary of all of it first let's start with the Supreme Court before we talk about kamla Harris and what our intentions are Biden plans to announce a reform proposal for the Supreme Court now I'd like to be very clear about this a proposal which is expected to include things like term limits for justices a code of ethics for justices like hey maybe you shouldn't go on private jet rides with billionaires who potentially donate to causes that you're interested in and then might influence you uh and also a proposal for limiting immunity for presidents which basically tries to unwind some of the first Supreme Court ruling that gives presidents immunity for all official acts and really just creates a debate around what is an official ACT versus not this proposal is going to have a massive uphill battle there's also the potential that Joe Biden might push for quote unquote packing the Supreme Court which basically would expand the number of people on the Supreme Court to dilute the right leaning strength that the Supreme Court has right now because obviously if you have more total justices and let's say a lot of them are Democrats then you dilute the existing Republicans which currently have a majority all of these proposals and ideas right now are going to face a very simple challenge one they have to get through Congress and that's about it see to limit presidential immunity you'd have to pass a constitutional amendment that's going to take 2third of Congress that's called a super majority all I have to say is good luck it ain't going to happen the second thing is to actually get a proposal through Congress for some of these other items like term limits for justices you'd have to get through a republican filibuster so you'd need 60 votes uh in the Senate which you don't have good luck with that and you'd need Republicans to join on board and they control the House of Representatives so good luck with that obviously any proposal from the Biden campaign right now is going to come across as partisan to dilute the power of current and existing uh the current and existing Republican uh or conservative majority in the court and it's just not going to pass Congress so frankly a lot of this talk about packing the Supreme Court or Biden's proposals and kamla's potential for supporting these proposals it isn't going to happen but what could happen is if Democrats sweep the election in November you could have kamla inherit these proposals for next year and if they control the house senate and presidency then yes maybe these proposals can to get pushed through so this will be a debate and campaign issue which is why I'm bringing it up in this video now speaking of debate there's been a lot of talk about whether or not kamla Harris and Donald Trump should debate obviously the answer here is yes they must debate for the good of the American people the country righteousness democracy and for our Republic we must have a debate that's how we were able to flush out Joe Biden as probably why Democrats wanted to hold it so early so they could also flush out Joe Biden but anyway let's talk a little bit about debate and then we'll get into policy because what you need to see from Donald Trump and what you need to see from KLA Harris is going to be very different in other words you don't want a Hillary Clinton moment from kamla Harris which was a moment where Hillary Clinton came across this very unlikable and unrelatable during debates but you also don't want a 2020 version of Donald Trump where he's lashing out and doesn't appear presidential both of those things could hurt them in a debate so we need to understand what is the best form of debate for both of them to win and then what policy are they going to stand with or should stand with in my opinion so Donald Trump first of all he's going to be up against debating a woman now this is not to be sexist it's just simply to say he's done this before against Hillary Clinton now that was easier because Hillary Clinton came across as unlikable but you kind of need a Chiller Donald Trump in my opinion like you had with Donald Trump versus Biden Donald Trump in his View and I understand there's a debate about what the facts are who lied more and whatever that's not what this video is about but in his point of view he stuck to policy and he really limited his lashing out against Biden he actually came across as level-headed and put well together that's why he absolutely crushed the debate one month ago approximately today can't believe it's already been a month that was good he's going to have to maintain that sort of behavior in a debate against KL Harris because you don't want to come across as a bully you don't want to come across as having the apocalyptic World War III everything is going to hell and uh you know kamla you're a woman so you suck attitude you don't want that like that would be very bad for Donald Trump he should come across as professional he should come across as levelheaded he should come across as calm even the way he was acting at the Bitcoin conference yesterday to to aggressive got to dial it back to apocalyptic got to dial it back focus on the record and what you plan to do no Wars under Trump Wars under George Bush Obama and Biden that is a very strong feat focus on that for your historical precedent focus on how Joe Biden has now inherited your border policy of using an executive order to limit Asylum Seekers at the border which the Biden Administration initially said was illegal then made a slight tuneup to it in terms of having a toggle on andof switch which they think could go through courts in a better way than Donald Trump's usage of this executive order was able to and Trump should use this as evidence to show that hey his policies were good of course you could also argue inflation we all know that both Biden and uh Trump are responsible inflation that we have but unfortunately for Biden and the kamla administration if there is one inflation is going to be a problem they have to deal with Trump here should instead just focus on those items of the past he did well tax cuts border no Wars and then focus on going forward hey tax cuts border no Wars it's actually very simple messaging if Donald Trump gets too off-kilter and starts lashing out too much it's going to look bad now comma Harris debating Donald Trump as a prosecutor or former prosecutor she has to prove that she could stand up to a powerful and strong person or personality like Donald Trump's so she could show us what she would be like under the pressure of a Vladimir Putin or xen ping from China however it must be done respectfully and tactfully remember Hillary Clinton came across as wretched vile and unrelatable and some people say that women just have that disadvantage in a debate that for some reason I'm not saying this other people say this that for some reason when women debate they just come across as more unrelatable and vile so she has to get through that if that's true that's a risk for Harris both of them will lose here if they come across as too aggressive they both have to be professional and that's going to be tough for both sides to maintain because K Harris doesn't want to come across as professional and weak and Trump doesn't want to come across as a professional Bully Now Harris probably needs to be more aggressive than Trump here Trump just needs to restrain himself but I expect kamla Harris is going to push his buttons to get him to lash out so this is going to make the debate really interesting to watch kamla needs to prove herself and Trump needs to avoid lashing out very simple here so now let's talk policy I personally think and I want to be clear about this we must have a debate we expect there to be a debate in September of course we'll be covering it maybe there'll be a second debate maybe not but let's focus right now on in the record kamla Harris is expected to inherit Joe Biden's border policy we fully detailed this back on June 6th over on ec.com or even on the YouTube channel here meet Kevin please consider subscribing by the way we're almost at 2 million subscribers we're less than 4,000 subscribers away it would mean the world to us if we could finally break into 2 mil thank you so much for watching and supporting this free content by the way but anyway the policy inherited uh uh the Biden policy inherited the Trump policy we already talked about that so I'm not going to reiterate that but we expect that KL Harris is going to go into the debate and say look we've reduced border crossings by 40% via this policy all Trump needs to do to flip on this is say that's my policy and then he would win like that was an easy argument to win now we'll see because so far Trump has not brought that up yet the Biden Administration did argue in 2021 that kamla Harris was the quote unquote borderers bizarre today Democrats want to distance themselves from this because public opinion suggests the Border situation has been worse over the last few years than ever before you could verify this public opinion simply by looking at Gallup polls Gallup polls indicates a 13 percentage Point increase in those wanting to expand the border wall a 10 percentage Point increase in those wanting to deport all illegal immigrants who are here illegally and an 11 percentage Point decrease in Americans wanting immigrants here illegally to have a path to citizenship and this is comparing today to 2019 now there is a lot of debate right now about whether or not KLA Harris is a bordar or not axios quoted her as being Biden's borders are in 2021 and then possibly a different author you know give him the benefit of the doubt here or they're just trying to rewrite history now they're saying she never had the title borders are axio yall literally gave it to her uh you all literally labeled her as that but anyway okay okay so so now she's not who cares none of this freaking matters what will come up are you know gffs that have had occurred in the past for the Harris Administration such as urging migrants quote do not come uh or another one would be in her Lester Holt interview about visiting the border that she hadn't been to Europe which is kind of a weird thing to say when it comes to visiting the border and then of course later she visited the Border those little gaffs are cool for like little they're not actually going to be severely useful for the future and what that's what we want is we want to know what's her future policy and so my expectation is KL Harris's future policy on the border is mostly going to be status quo hey we're limiting Asylum Seekers and now we're going to keep doing that but we're not going to build more of the Border that's likely to be the policy of the Harris Administration so I do expect that Trump would be more aggressive on Border policy here now talking about the Border policy it is worth noting details about the wall and how Donald Trump worked the wall so let's talk specifically about the wall Trump on Border policy Donald Trump uh one second here almost there we go uh okay Trump on Border policy Donald Trump estimated that the border wall would cost about $1 billion per the Brookings Institute they lean a little to the left side BBC reports that range was actually between 12 and $40 billion so Brookings is taking kind of a lower edge here DHS Department of Homeland Security reported the border wall already cost $21.6 billion so it's worth noting the border wall has either been in the middle of the range or low depending on which claim you want to argue in terms of how cheap the border wall was now Donald Trump suggests that Mexico is going to pay for the border wall and of course a lot of people have said Mexico hasn't paid for the border wall Donald Trump initially suggested seizing Mexican remittances back to their families given that 46.2% of Mexican families live in po uh poverty and 80% of them well up to 80% of some fam's income comes from remittances you know money sent back from the United States to Mexico this would be really painful for a lot of Mexican families and let's just say that has not happened so we've not had Mexican families pay for the border wall Donald Trump has since rebranded this to say that his United States Mexico trade alliance with Canada that has contributed to making money for the United States and that is how Mexico is starting to pay for the border wall this is debatable now smuggling tunnels worth noting are often 70 ft underground Trump's border wall is suggested to be 6 feet deep and suggested that it would block border walls or border tunnels not likely but they did build a lot of the border wall there are a lot of people who say that Donald Trump only build built somewhere around 80 Mi of Border barriers this is true of where there were no barriers before but Donald Trump did build 452 miles of border wall That's because there was already a 654 mile section in place and they rebuilt a good chunk of it just over about 370 Mi that they rebuilt of the money they spent $21.6 billion they spent about $9,000 per foot on the border wall now of course there are videos of people cutting through the border wall or whatever so the effectiveness of the border wall will always be debated but Donald Trump said he would build a wall he didn't get Congressional funding to do it so he used emergency powers to do it anyway and he did build 452 Mi of wall so you have to give him credit that he did build 452 mies of wall some of the portions he replaced maybe they were effective maybe they were ineffective is Mexico paying for it maybe through the usmca alliance maybe but also debatable now the usmca which is a benefit for Trump has been found by the left the Brookings Institute to have expanded trade resulted in good had good results basically for workers enabled an electric vehicle transition semiconductor Supply chains access to minerals help North the North America you know Alliance the North American Alliance compete against China basically you got to think about trade in North America right now it's valued at about $3 million per minute trade volumes are 44% higher in North America that is with the United States than they are with China so we have a really good alliance with China sorry with uh with Canada and Mexico we've introduced modern rules digital rules better working conditions for workers and so even the left argues that Trump's policy on the usmca the replacement of NAFTA the North American free trade agreement was good so so far on the border Trump probably has more to stand on On the Border than the Biden Harris Camp unfortunately that probably hurts her okay moving on where do we stand on Ubi all right so kamla Harris has suggested that uh there might be an interest in providing some form of supplemental funding for Americans now she introduced this sort of policy back in 2022 so it's unlikely that she is running on that same premise today she's just previously been open and interested to that uh so whether or not she's interested in it today we're not sure the odds are she probably would not be interested in Ubi today it doesn't seem like a campaign promise it doesn't seem necessary at this point but it is worth noting that the National Bureau of economic research did study giving $11,000 per month to people as a form of universal basic income and what they found was kind of shocking they actually found uh that transfers decreased households total income in other words uh putting a dollar on this every dollar a household got in the form of universal basic income reduced their total household income by 21 C it also increased their unemployment by 1.1 months and it did not change the quality of the employment they eventually got or their happiness so in other words it was found by the National Bureau of economic research that Universal basic income hurt recipients rather than benefited them that's interesting Kam Harris had previously supported this not sure if she does today Kam Harris does support legislation to codify women's rights to access abortion uh Democrats like to argue that Donald Trump favors a National Abortion ban he did at one point favor a 15 we National Abortion ban which would still give you abortion up to 15 weeks how however today he's basically stepped back from this and said let the states decide state by state so presently it does not look like Donald Trump favors any kind of National Abortion ban despite the fact that Democrats do continue to say he does kamla Harris on climate change she obviously supports tax credits for electric vehicles Elon Musk has argued that all tax credits should be removed and this would hurt other electric vehicle makers more than it would Tesla I'm not really sure about that right now a lot of Tesla's bottom line is coming from tax credits so they're really being propped up by tax credits 800 million in just the last quarter but let's just put it this way bottom line per the Wall Street Journal KLA Harris is a bigger fan of government intervention in the economy and Donald Trump is a fan of less intervention into the economy so fewer tax credits from Trump for green energy he calls it the green new scam electric vehicles and solar panels so has the inflation reduction act been a benefit for the Biden Administration which could be inherited by Kam Paris well it's probably way too early to tell if you look at the left leaning Center for American progress they find that the inflation reduction Act created green jobs helped build out our domestic manufacturing progresses and plants or whatever and energy batteries mineral processing electric vehicles wind solar you name it and they've increased rebates for clean appliances at home rebates for wind solar solar inverters electric vehicles these are basically tax credits that incentivize you to focus on things that are green the inflation reduction act has also helped enable Medicare to negotiate the prices of Select prescription drugs not all of them does limit the hiking of drug prices on certain drugs and modernize the IRS to help digitize it the IRS also now uses AI to Target some higher income Partnerships anyway that's sort of the more left review of that the right review of this which will give credit to the the Heritage Foundation for these opinions says that right now the inflation reduction act ironically produces more inflation than it reduces that's because most of the inflation reduction of the inflation reduction act probably won't actually happen until 2028 and it's going to cost us a lot more money than we think it would in fact the IRS uh or I should say the Congressional budget office projected that the IRA the inflation reduction act would cost about $270 billion in deficits between 2023 to 2031 but Goldman Sachs thinks it'll be closer to 1 uh$ 1.2 trillion because the treasury Department is so loose at interpreting what qualifies for those tax credits in other words it's almost like Democrats wanted to push the legislation through assuming that we would use tough interpretations on these credits but now they're interpreting them Loosely now that the bill is passed and they're going to spend way more money on these green tax credits Trump suggests he's going to kill all of these tax credits Elon Musk suggests that's okay Tesla will be fine this will hurt other EV makers more but frankly a lot of people believe Tesla makes way too much money off electric vehicle credits and without them Tesla would be in a world of hurt topic for a different video the treasury secretary has also requested that the IRS not increase audits on those making under 400k that means more of the audits are going to those making over 400k it's Janet yelling by the way but anyway back to suggests that even if we eliminated all of our emissions today we would only reduce global temperatures by.
2° in 86 years this tiny effect they argue is not worth running a country with a $2 trillion annual deficit in fact us and Eurozone emissions are declining but it's China and India that are going parabolic so maybe we should talk to them about controlling emissions and not focus on throwing all this money that's going to increase the deficit on our energy emissions in the United States obviously this is also where you have a difference with KLA Harris to Trump where Donald Trump is a big fan of drill baby drill American Energy whereas the first day Joe Biden took office they shut down the extension to the Keystone Pipeline we already know about this anyway so this is useful to know on the inflation reduction act so now we've hit Universal basic income we've hit the Border situation we've hit abortion briefly uh it's pretty clear we've hit climate policy on uh Israel kamla Harris does support a a two-state solution and so does Donald Trump both of them argue that they're going to work towards a ceasefire or resolution here Biden or Donald Trump rather his strongest argument is that there were Wars under Obama Started under Bush started and under Biden started but there were no Wars started under Trump that is that is just a fact and it's a strong argument that Donald Trump should use over and over and over again Kam Harris suggests yes we're going to find peace we'll negotiate a solution with Israel two-state solution between Israel and Palestine and we'll figure out uh Russia and Ukraine which probably involves continuing the proxy war that we're having by funding Ukraine to have the war and weaken Russia for us anyway uh so now uh we get to Crime KL Harris on crime has been a big proponent of ending mandatory minimum sentences so like if you steal X you will go to jail for at least a certain amount of days a lot of people have seen that as unpopular because basically you could go steal $10,000 worth of stuff go to jail but then get released the very next day because there's no minimum sentence you also don't need cash for bail anymore so in other words you could just bail out of jail for free and she's a fan of ending the death penalty she introduced the uh some legislation called Justice for policing which would make it easier to prosecute the police then the New York Times argued that that was her just trying to clean up a record because when she was a prosecutor in California she was really bad at Prosecuting the police instead she kind of stepped back on Prosecuting the police even though she talks big talk about for example Prosecuting police in Kentucky after the bana Taylor disaster so anyway she'll likely have some cleaning up to do on where she was on crime and California is not the best place to be coming from if you're trying to come across as tough on crime because let's be real California is not tough on crime it's sad like what's happening in San Francisco Santa Monica you name it is a complete disaster kamla Harris on tax policy says she vows not to raise taxes on the middle class she argues that JD Vance wants to increase taxes on the middle class that doesn't have children it's not actually what JD Vance said JD Vance said that he wants more tax credits for people who have more children that's basically a greater child tax credit it's the same thing that Ivanka did Ivanka Trump passed uh an increasing of the child tax credit from $1,000 $2,000 when she worked for the White House she no longer does she's burned out of politics probably won't ever go back into politics she gets really emotional when she talks about politics she's not part of the next Administration but the principle of more tax credits for people with middle- class people is something that Donald Trump is going to push and he can refer to the tax cuts uh and jobs Act of 2017 a lot of it which expires this year and say hey we'll bring it back again we'll do it again that's what he does that's why he's also now saying no tax on tips Donald Trump is a fan of taking the current corporate tax rate from 21% to 15% KL Harris when she ran for president wanted to move it all the way up to 35% and Biden wanted to go to 28% so Biden was actually seen as more moderate than Kamala on this when it comes to uh sort of Corporations like Facebook and meta and otherwise a lot of Corporations big corporations in Silicon Valley seem to be very supportive of kamla Harris mostly because they're from Silicon Valley which is roughly where she's from as well uh and a lot of folks see kamla Harris as ironically more interested in authorizing or allowing corporate mergers than the current head of the Federal Trade Commission would allow or does allow excuse me the current head Mrs KH is not very PR mergers and Acquisitions in fact she's been very aggressive at stopping the consolidation of big Tech JD Vance and this is where it gets like kind of ironic and kind of weird JD Vance is actually more of a fan than KH at the FTC than kamla Harris is and this is just where I'm like oh my God this is really confusing now the good news is for people who uh uh who don't like Khan JD Vance isn't running for president this is Trump versus Harris o a lot of people see a lot of donations potentially coming from the likes of Facebook and Amazon or Apple or Google or whatever uh that are potentially going towards kamla Harris because they see her more friendly as big Tech consolid consolidants or whatever uh than uh than somebody like JD Vance but again Vance isn't running for uh for office uh well running for the office of President obviously running for VP but anyway most people vote for top of ticket so that's really interesting okay so uh obviously if uh you're voting for Trump you're generally voting for smaller and less government intervention and kamla Harris you're voting for more government intervention uh kamla Harris we already talked about her website a little bit of background on her born to an Indian mother and Jamaican father she was born in the United States uh so citizen by birth they met at bur the parents met at Berkeley during a social protest movement of the 1960s she also ran a launch video called Freedom which featured the song Freedom from Beyonce and she argued that we deserve the freedom to afford Healthcare have no child in poverty that no one is above the law women have Choice freedom to be safe from gun violence and some other topics but those were some of the big ones which is also interesting because in her video she says quote when we fight we win Donald Trump got a lot of heat for using the word fight on j6 remember when he said we're going to fight like hell and so fight is a very common word in politics and it means fighting for what you believe in fighting for what's right in Donald Trump's case on j6 people use that to say well you suggest that a mob should go over and physically fight like hell obviously he says no I said peacefully protest but in her campaign launch video she also uses the word fight so like this word fight has gotten really blurry anyway interesting so uh kamla Harris I think we've already made it clear she pushes for a two-state solution but she for Israel but she's a big fan of Ironclad support for Israel uh Trump tax policy we talked about more child tax credits and uh campaign notes right now in terms of polling link show that kamla Harris is within 1 and a half to 2% based on polls but based on the betting markets I don't know if people just haven't moved their bets yet Trump still has a 5 to 10 percentage point lead depending on when you refresh the page so it's kind of interesting now the last thing to touch on is this whole like problem potentially or benefit of kamla Harris's quote unquote cackle her laugh uh and so Donald Trump is trying to call her laughing kamla he's had better nicknames but anyway the econ says that in order for KLA Harris to win she needs to make this election a referendum on Trump and she needs to provide hope for a new vision she does carry the burden of Biden's record on inflation immigration and potentially on crime so she's going to have to distance herself from this she'll have to talk up the rule of law which is going to be tough coming from California and the fact that she has a rushed campaign will make this harder for her so she has some challenges here but the economist says that Donald Trump's negativity could be a good thing for KLA Harris that people are tired of negativity and that they want hope and happiness and they think that her using humor and hope could actually be a benefit to her winning the New York Times then had a piece on kamla Harris's laugh and they thought that ironically or maybe unironically her laugh would not be a sign of weakness I guess it would be ironically would not be a sign of weakness but rather her laugh could be a sign of strength that it could be a tool to help humanize her message and help win debates and potentially give her strength if Donald Trump comes across as a loose cannon bully this sort of aligns with the economist suggests happiness and hope is on the ballot versus negativity all right this is really interesting so let's summarize this all really quickly Supreme Court nothing burger for now if kamla Harris's Harris wins and Democrats sweep yes you could see Court reform in 2025 but not this year when it comes to policy Donald Trump probably has an edge on foreign policy the Border crime and lower taxes but kamla Harris is going to have more of an edge obviously for women's rights in terms of choice right people who are trying to push for women's Choice K Harris is going to have a clear Edge there in fact pretty much any survey you look at shows that white liberal women are all in on KLA Harris okay uh then you're going to have more support for a potential uh Criminal Justice Reform that you know isn't going to be a strong point for her coming out of California because reform in California has been a complete failure but that's what people think that maybe there'll be more of a chance for people who are in poverty which disproportionately are Black and Hispanic if you're Black and Hispanic you're 50% more likely to be in poverty than than a white person or Asian person it's just statistics okay this is not about racism it's just statistics uh and so she's going to get probably more of a vote from black and his anic voters uh she'll probably get more of a vote on uh on people who want to see a legal path towards citizenship uh she'll get more support from Silicon Valley although there is a lot of Silicon Valley like Elon Musk and the all-in Pod and people that are very very into Trump right now she'll get support from Hollywood she'll get support from the climate change uh you know the folks who support climate change and she'll get the support from those who are seeking the most government support possible whether it's tax credits or otherwise whereas Trump will probably not get support from those aspects anyway that's an overall summary I know this was a little bit of a longer video but there's a lot to talk about here and it took me forever to put this together so if you like this free information make sure to hit subscrib I'll keep you updated with mor
