please subscribe and don't forget to press the bell icon to get notified whenever we upload a new video alright good morning welcome to child busters we have kick-started the July series things are looking good the Nifty is holding with a gain of around 50 points a pretty good start to the series but remember keep in contacts the Asian markets they're doing well they're sitting with gains pressure on the percent so it's green on the screen it's a Friday morning let's see how we end up Mangalam til market closed til market closed yes that is something that we need to find out how we end up the good part is you know after the spate of underperformance the Mid Cap index is doing it well we keep talking about the green and red lines now there are three lines or all three starts in the green for one in the red so those crisscross lines should cover for you yeah it is funny because you know the season is such that a lot of people are unwell in Bombay but pharmaceutical stocks not doing well after seeing a good series as far as june is concerned bio corn for instance now at the low point of the day we're seeing some bit sell-off out there as well and doesn't look like you're going for the movie with your wife this weekend because niger PVR that one should cover for you that ones now suddenly slipped to the low point of the day it's Friday yeah I mean that depends on the wife right if she says you go for the movie level of the movie what do you think you'll understand that but Sanju I mean I'm definitely gonna watch that a movie for sure let's see how that one goes with Mangalam in terms of that coal please take care you know there's United spirits that's sitting with the gayness around the percent approximately make an alteration I mean tea stocks are doing well as well around 5% but I think if you would really want to kill the cold I give you a better option no I'll go with the tea right now exactly there you have it two percent higher but all that later first up all the top stories that we're tracking this Friday morning the IT stocks they're in focus Accenture posts a robust third quarter sec as set of numbers raises FY 18 constant currency guidance to nine and a half to 10 percent and rocky June June voila and family sell 1.4 percent stake in Titan from May 22nd to June 28th the big puller is foundry now hold seven point three seven percent stake in the company the important day for the insurance sector IRDA bored me to will decide the fate of much-talked-about LIC idbi bank deal sources tell CMS ETV a team that a nod from elder is likely that's an exclusive had no relief for dr.
Reddy's as the US Code extends temporary restraining order on the company so backs are launched by two weeks the stock is down a percent and a half done well cars Jim business the wall cars lifestyle lists on the boots history at 137 rupees of peace management clarified still CNBC tv18 they say that they have not withheld information from shareholders and the prospects for the gem business are bright ok alright the Nifty is holding onto some gains we have defended the 100 EMA or 200 EMA that's you know way below where we are currently so that's good news but on the upside you know the 50 there me that comes in at around 10,000 690 so keep an eye out on that front if you're looking at a technical level on the upside 10,000 690 is the level you should be looking at that's the 50-day I mean but is this the real thing should you be looking to buy into the Nifty or is this a perfect shorting opportunity for the Bears actually go charge with us honey what's the trade on the fifty ten thousand six hundred forty five good start at least to the day though we've come off nearly around fifteen points on the top see today mid caps are doing exactly what large cats are doing all through last month you know this pullback is not impressive because HDFC Bank ICS a bank Axis Bank you know I see I say a bank in the same Bank all of these guys are going down hex the large cap X are coming off so you know jubilant all those you know consumption stories they are not doing so well what's going up is you know P and B and you know Bank over all that kinda back this seems quite unsustainable to me because if large stocks start to come off and quality starts to come off it's only a matter of time before the mid cap also give up gains so while we thought that maybe we'll get a better pull back the pullback is clearly losing steam and we have a now you know both sorts on lefty and back nifty because with this poor momentum on the upside it's only a little push that you need and you break below yesterday's lows particularly on banking it does not look so good because the large private banks are now down and the PS use are up having said that tech mantra is a cell with a stop of 650 target of 6 and 10 but Rumple Cheney is a cell with the stop of 67 target of 59 and petrol net is a buy with a stop of 210 target of 224 market probably cannot bounce back because maybe now the June phase of contraction is now clearly over and even small rallies are getting sold in to so that way possibly this is just a counter trend rally which will peter out fairly soon all right counter trend rally which may Peter or fairly sooner Sweeney before we let you go just a word on two stocks the first one is Titan that one's recovered from the lows today right now as we speak it's sitting with a gain of about two and a half percent in an otherwise strong consumption rally this was underperforming no it's extended some gains your view on this one and secondly IDBI that one's buzzing with a fair amount of volumes and there is some news as well these are one-offs the basic trend of the market is down and that's where you'll make most amount of money Titan you know from the 200-day moving average yes can move to 900 but you shouldn't be looking at the upside given the momentum of the market I think we should move lower and a lot of stocks will go down no matter what they are doing today all right our story thanks a lot for joining in and giving us your stock calls as well just to be over the market but we spoke about IDBI Bank it's a very important day for the insurance sector as a whole the insurance regulators board will meet today to decide the fate of the much-talked-about LIC IDBI Bank deal sources say and not from Aida is likely for that deal yeah she's joining us with all details - good morning good morning Mangrum as you rightly pointed out first of all the board of the insurance regulator that is irda is meeting today to consider that very crucial proposal of LIC which is the life insurance corporate picking up significant stake in IDBI back now before we come to the approvals which will be really required for this particular deal let's just understand how this deal would really look like so essentially what I'm being given to understand from my sources is that LIC is intending to pick another 30% additional stake when it comes to IDBI Bank taking its overall shareholding in the bank to about 40 or 41 percent from the current 10.8% which it holds also this particular transaction will be executed via issuance of preferential issuance of a fresh equity which will be given to the Life Insurance Corporation also as a part of this transaction we are going to understand that LIC may be given up to three board seats when it comes to the board of IDBI Bank but importantly it won't have any management control when it comes to the day-to-day functioning of the bank now if you talk about the approvals the most crucial approval will have to be an amendment or an exemption which will have to be given to that clause which restricts insurance companies from holding more than 15% stake in listed companies irda we are given to understand is likely to give that particular exemption and is in favor to allow LIC to hold more than 15% in IDBI Bank which is essentially what the transaction looks like whereby they will be taking that overall chair all day to about 40 to 41 percent in IDBI Bank well locate the size in the complexity of the transaction it certainly won't be an easy affair right Yash you have been speaking I think our to your sources what are you hearing in terms of the hurdles are likely to be faced with regard to this deal so Nigel of course as you rightly mentioned it's a complex transaction where a multiple regulators are really involved but purely from the insurance regulators perspective there are two very crucial modules the first one being as I mentioned that 15 percent investment ceiling which is mandated of course they will need an exemption from the regulator on this particular case to allow them to go beyond that 15 percent and as their intention of taking it to 40 41 percent in IDBI Bank the second one is if you also understand the subsidiaries of IDBI Bank IDB a bank owns about 48 percent when it comes to IDBI federal life so if LIC owns 40% in IDBI Bank they will as a step-down subsidiary also have more than 10 percent or equivalent to that 40 percent in idea in IDF federal life insurance now insurance regulations also restrict any single promoter individual or a promoter group to own more than 10% in 2 cm stream insurance companies which is getting violated as far as this particular transaction right now is concerned so yes an exemption or that is also a potential hurdle when it comes to IDBI federer of becoming a step-down subsidiary of realizing thanks a lot for taking us through all the contours of this deal and the potential hurdles as well meanwhile no hurdles for Hindustan Unilever their annual general meeting is scheduled for today that stock at the high point of the day but will submit a short break come back we talk about Shree in Flour the stock in in focus on the back of their plan to come out with an IPO of shri equipment finance and the stock has been underperforming to come out with an IPO of schribman finance and the stock has been underperforming for the last few training sessions welcome back while the Mid Cap index is doing fairly well once talked on our radar is shreya in flood this week it has underperformed in fact if you take a look at the weekly chart of the stock is down about 15 percent this week itself for we have management with us and they will talk about a whole host of things including their plan for the shri equipment finance IPO mr.
Connery ahima Kanodia the Chairman and MD of Shree enfranchise us now thanks a lot mr. Kanodia for joining us the street but you know like to know a little about the shri equipment finance IPO if you could give us a few bit basic details you know what is the quantum of funds that you are raising for that business how much is the fresh of how much of it will be your stake sale and when are you looking to launch that IPO by see we have been planning for the IPO and we thought that we would be in a position to do it before the 31st of March unfortunately it has got delayed because as you know the clearance is also required and it is a large organization so it takes a little time to complete all the compliance will etcetera so we expect that we should be getting the approval very soon and once we get the approval then we will go into the market and unfortunately last 3-4 months has not been very exciting for the NDF sees where the market performance has been concerned so therefore you know we have to have this I invest bankers and also see how much so it is basically we are doing an offer for almost about 20% and this primary and secondary in that and it would be because the range would be anywhere between fourteen fifteen hundred to sixteen seventeen hundred crore so that would be the range so it'll all depend upon the pricing and it all depends how the market is performing so once we get the approval from CB and all the other compliances are completed then after that we'll be in a position to exactly determine the quantity and the percentage and how much will be going in for secondary and how much would be the Embree okay definitely we like to see that in the next quarter that if everything goes on well em the market our market is performing well then next quarter we should be in a position to Laura alright so mr.
Connery away are moving with a couple of quarters henceforth you looking to raise around the around 1,400 to around 1,600 crores give us a few more details sir what is the ROA in this particular equipment finance business you are talking about I remember a few years ago if I look at some details it was in double digits what is it at currently so again we are a double digit unfortunately they'd fallen down because of the infrastructure sector not performing very well but fortunately for us in the last couple of years what has happened is that one the market is also picked up the construction equipment mining equipment sales have picked up dramatically and to the extent because as we see that lot of works are being awarded in the road sector in irrigation another construction work EPC contracts are being awarded by the government also so the cause of huge surge in the EPC contracts being awarded by the government so therefore the construction mining equipment these fields have improved and therefore our because we have a substantial market share so our business has also grown well and at the same time so one there has been a growth in dispersement in the business second at the same time they have been able to curtail the NP r--'s and who not of recovery and because of the recovery that we have been able to do that is also added to the profitability so we hope that you know it will be in the double-digit and moving forward we should be in a position to quarter by quarter see an improvement going forward both in the roee the profitability the end tears are coming down so which we have seen in the last two years successive quarters okay mister Cornelia Abbey shape decide you know if I look at the numbers the f5 twelve to seventeen the disbursements haven't close to fifteen nine and a half thousand crore but your am has grown only by 4137 throat so that brings us toward this was went to a young growth of just seven percent why has despite the fact that higher disbursement the Ingham growth has been under pressure have you seen higher repayments or are you not seeing a prolonged tenure of your asset portfolio no I think that basically to just explain you the business model of Sri Akal pension and see the equipment finances actually in the we call it the FM IG which is fast-moving infrastructure goods so the construction and mining equipment that we are financing and healthcare equipment cycle is about is two and a half years is the average ten years so therefore we are in a position to recover the money faster and that is the reason why our disbursements because disbursements is also linked to the profitability so therefore the disbursements are higher and at the same time because the recovery is happening and recovery should happen because for our national institutions it is very important to be in a position to recover the money so unlike today infra which is in financing of long-term projects which is infrastructure financing socially equipment finance is actually a company which is more on the retail side of it but retail side of it which is totally backed by equipment so the security is good and therefore the percentage of ntl if it goes up also which had gone up about three four years back we have been able to curtail it and the cause their equipments are there we are in a position to sell their footprints where lies the money the cycles are low so therefore it is a good business and that's been the biggest strength of shape you speaking of already than why we are taking this company to the market to correct you are speaking about a good business which I can see from the fact you note this worse one being high your net interest margin has been on the higher side and your asset quality has largely remained stable in the equipment finance business but it is not creating profits why so the profits are going up you see them basically what happens is that because we had D we had also the lack of the NPS which was there that is the reason why the Prophet did not go up to the extent that it should have but as we as we mentioned that in the last couple of years successive quarters the profits have been going up and this trend will be maintained because you know the equipment financing business it is not that one fine coral will have a huge surge in the profit it is stable and it is basically it is continuously rising and it will be rising in a stable fashion so which is good for any any finance company or financial institution and that is what we have tried to do as a business model itself so it's a dirty business model which will continuously keep on giving good profit and it has to be the problem what full you has to be managed been alright okay I'll try to be second area thanks so much sir for stopping by and giving us all those details next couple of quarters we are going to be expecting that IPO it was interesting he was saying if mi eg fast-moving equipment goods against FMCG that everyone keeps talking I think if we don't move fast into a break right now so that's one thing slip into a short break come back continue our focus on the markets stay with us okay keep your eye out on the markets we are holding with a gain of around 65 points on the nifty good going for a couple of stocks Reliance Industries that's the big boy in there that's been doing well it's holding with some gains and Titan as well after starting off on the back foot well it's come in there and it's bring a good knock as we speak it's recovered earlier on three and a half percent from the low point of the day moving to the day's high on that note we will wrap up and chartbusters you stay with us trading up comes up next you
