01. Hello fellow travelers, this is Ader Mom. It is my 7th day living in New York. For a few days, I watched the Aladdin performance on Broadway, and I also took a view of downtown New York from the Top of the Rock, the very top floor of Rockefeller Center. This time, I could see Central Park in detail.

02. I will show you that video at the very end. Also, since some of you were curious about the cost of living in New York, I will address that as well. Today, regarding TA QQ, it has currently dropped to the $10 range, around $17. I will explain why I am not changing my investment strategy even though it has dropped significantly.

03. Since the stock price has fallen so much, some people have given me advice in the comments on how to handle situations like this. Some suggested buying Spy now and then buying TaQQ again later if the price drops further, while others proposed other methods. However,I intend to stick to my existing method: simply holding one position, buying another with 200,000 won at the beginning of every month, and buying another whenever I have money—some call this " non-discriminatory buying." I plan to stick to that approach.

04. There are two reasons for this. The first is... The point is that no one knows when or how the stock price will move in the future. Some people say things will be difficult until the first half of next year, while others predict a rise in the second half. In that case, there is no need to change your strategy.

05. There are also those who say it will be difficult until next year but will be fine the year after. In that case, it has been exactly two years since you invested in TQQ, and you are now entering your third year. If it rises in the third year, even those who have just made a rough estimate can see a profit on the same day without needing to make additional purchases.

06. Still, some people say it will trade sideways for several years. In that case, regarding additional purchases... In the past, when I used a strategy where I bought an additional 20% of my original investment every year, my account recovered in four years, and when I continued to make additional purchases afterward, I generated explosive profits.

07. If it really trades sideways for more than five years, the percentage of your principal you decide to buy additionally depends on your individual situation. You can respond by making additional purchases in that way. The second reason I haven't changed my investment method is that I intend to continue long-term investing for over 10 years, or until I reach my target amount of 3 billion won.

08. I am planning to do so. I intend to invest for a long time, but if I change my investment style based on stock prices, I think I will get stressed and wo n't be able to invest long-term. Anything I do like this must be simple. If it is too complicated, you cannot do it for that long. So, you might be able to do it once or twice, even if it is a bit complicated and difficult.

09. But once it starts getting complicated, you lose the desire to do it and stop. That is why I really want to show you that significant profits can be made through long-term investment, and to do that, the investment method must be very simple. So, I intend to continue moving forward with the existing method.

10. If you look here, it says that anyone who wants to jump into stock investing needs to be prepared with the mindset of accepting a certain level of risk. A stock market that guarantees stable returns does not exist anywhere. If such a market existed, no one would wake up at 5 AM to go to work in front of a conveyor belt.

11. A stock market that guarantees stable returns really makes no sense. Stability and the stock market... if we say it is stable, it just sticks together. If you put in 1 million won this month and 1 million won next month, it becomes 2 million won, and if you put in another 1 million won the month after that, it becomes 3 million won.

12. It is so stable, isn't it? It gives you peace of mind. But with stocks, uh, if I put in 1 million won... You invest, and the total valuation could be 100,000 won or 500,000 won. So, if you invest while really saving, holding back on spending you want, and your money doesn't keep growing but sometimes actually decreases, you might really dislike it.

13. However, we are not looking at the process; only the result matters. Also, you must think of stock investing as a business. If you start a business, money will go in, time will go in, and your effort will go in. If you just wanted to run a business, you could hit the jackpot, and no one would refuse to start one.

14. But the reason people hesitate to start a business—even if they dislike their regular jobs—is because they worry, "Will this business succeed? How will it turn out? I can live fine on just my salary, so what if I get greedy and end up losing money?" Similarly, making money through stocks means making money from tangible things.

15. In that case, there is no such thing as "Oh, if I had invested in stocks, I would have hit the jackpot." The reason I keep telling you this is that even with a small amount of money, if the return on investment is high over a long period, a truly ordinary person can eventually become very wealthy. That is the thought I keep repeating.

16. You shouldn't just think about the sweet fruit; that's not right. It is a fruit obtained only after enduring that long period and the negative periods along the way. There is a client I counsel who said they were having a hard time at work because their boss was making things difficult and they wanted to quit.

17. The solution I offered was to think of it this way: "Consider that the salary you receive includes the watchful eyes and scolding from your boss." That was quite refreshing to me. Usually, in the workplace, we think of a salary as something earned simply for performing the assigned tasks well. However, when a boss or colleagues make things difficult, it feels so unfair and unpleasant that you might even consider changing jobs—it is truly distressing.

18. But the idea that it is better to simply accept that the mental strain is also included in that salary really resonated with me. Similarly, when thinking about making money through stocks, it should n't be about comfortable, stable returns. Instead, you should invest in stocks where you understand that sometimes, when the economy is bad, you have to weather periods of losses, and that this is simply the norm.

19. If you come to think of it as a natural part of the process, it won't be that difficult. Please make sure to remember that stock investing is like running a business. However, if we just keep finding ways to keep our minds at ease, it wo n't be that hard, and I believe you will become people who generate significant profits through long-term investment.

20. Well, today is Monday, right? Please keep up the good work this week. The weather is very cold right now. I heard it snowed a lot, too. It is very cold here in the U.S. Please dress warmly, be careful not to catch a cold, and I hope you have a great week. Then, I will see you in the next video. Goodbye.

21. I am waiting to take the subway. Can you see the steam coming out of my nose? It is so, so cold. I saw on the news that it is cold in Korea too. So, the subway is coming in now. Today, I went to Times Square to see the Aladdin performance. There are many theaters there where you can watch shows; compared to Korea, it feels a bit like Daehak-ro.

22. They hold a lot of performances in Daehak-ro, right? Just like that, I am going to see Aladdin. I came in like this. If you look at these buildings, they look like museums and are really cool. So, I received an information leaflet about Aladdin. We watched from the 3rd floor, and the slope between the front seats and the floor was very steep.

23. It's deep, so it was a bit scary, but because of that, I could see the stage in front very clearly. Just like in Korea, you can't film performances, so I'll just show you the stage. This is Rockefeller Center; the top floor is called Top of the Rock, so I came to see the observation deck. When I entered, they took a picture of me.

24. I don't know why they took it; they didn't even give it to me later. So, they set me up on the 67th floor, which is the main top floor. Looking from the 67th floor, the surrounding buildings looked much more detailed. They looked small from such high places, but from the 67th floor, they looked big.

25. You can see Central Park over there, right? People say that if Central Park didn't exist, there would be a mental hospital that big. That shows just how essential parks are. I was feeling a bit hungry, so I bought two bags of popcorn. I also really needed a calendar as a gift for my daughter, so I bought one.

26. But looking at it, it's expensive. That tiny calendar costs over 30,000 won, and a bag of popcorn costs over 10,000 won. The cost of living in New York is really high. Now, this is outside Rockefeller Center. Have you seen Home Alone 2? It's Christmas. It used to be shown a lot on TV, but this is the area in front of the Christmas tree that serves as the backdrop for the scene in Home Alone 2 where the main character, a boy, meets his mom.

27. However, seeing it during the day, it didn't look very fancy, so I plan to visit again at night later. That ice rink is also a place that appeared in the movie, so many people are skating there. When I came outside, there were things like studios. Since it's the Christmas season, they had blocked off the road so people could cross and use the area freely.

28. Also, my daughter somehow found out about Radio City and suggested we go there, so we visited that area as well. I saw that it said " Musical," and the Christmas tree was made so beautifully. As I walked along the streets, there were lots of Christmas decorations, and I also spotted this cool sculpture, so I captured it on video.

29. This is where the M&N's peppers are. My daughter wanted to come here, so we did. I thought they only had chocolates, but there were peppers too. There were aprons and various dishes as well. It was so cute, colorful, and pretty. These mugs are also so cute and pretty. So, when I buy things, I always I used to only buy what was necessary, but in Chairman Kim Seung-ho's book on the nature of money, he describes buying pretty things as "pretty trash," and I really like that saying.

30. When my daughter says, "Mom, this is pretty," it means she wants to buy it. But since I kept telling her to only buy what she needs, she does n't ask me to buy things anymore. I mostly just bought her M&M's chocolates. I was worried she might feel weak if her blood sugar dropped, so I saw these chocolates.

31. They come in long bags filled with lots of chocolates, and you can take as much as you want and eat according to the portion size. We have things like that in Korea, right? Like the jelly candies you see at rest stops. My husband said he needed some clothes, so we came to the Gap store. He said clothes are actually cheaper in the U.S., so he deliberately didn't bring many clothes and wanted to buy them locally.

32. He bought a few T-shirts at the Gap store. Later that night, I went out to the area near the hotel for a quick stroll. I saw the Trump Building. It is very big and impressive. I don't really know what kind of place it is; I have n't looked into it in detail. This place is called Trinity Church, which I understand is the oldest church in the United States.

33. So, they have decorated the walls and other areas quite a bit. It was n't sparkling very brightly, but they had decorated it very beautifully. My husband, Nal, and I had a nice, light walk. They said entering the church was free, so I wanted to go inside, but the door was closed. We are filming this on Sunday the 25th.

34. The door was all wet, so we couldn't go in and just filmed from the outside. Christmas trees look more spectacular at night, so we came during the day, but it did n't really stand out, so we spent some time elsewhere before coming back. That's why the sparkling Christmas lights look so pretty at night.

35. I filmed this to show our companions as well. Just seeing these twinkling lights makes me feel so happy, which is why I love Christmas so much. This is the New York Stock Exchange. You can see the name on the building up there, right? New York Stock Exchange. Even though it is Sunday, the lights were on.

36. I don't know if they are working or what, but anyway, they have Christmas decorations set up around there as well. The building was huge. I kept filming as I walked along, and the building was enormous. I hope our stock investments go well while I watch the video. I took a picture. This whole area is the New York Stock Exchange, and there was a huge Christmas tree behind it as well.

37. It 's cold, so many people are walking around wearing hats. I took some photos here and spent some time. I came here to do some grocery shopping. I heard that this place is called Jubilee and that the owner is Korean. When I visited, it really seemed like they stocked a lot of things that Koreans need when they come to the U.S.

38. I usually eat three meals a day, but I have breakfast at the hotel. I also don't schedule my daily itinerary too tightly, only doing one or two things. That's part of the charm of independent travel, isn't it? So, I do n't eat out very often. Well, if I'm lucky, I might eat out once or twice, but usually, I just eat something simple like this at my accommodation.

39. So, I came to this grocery store. If you look here, there are inari sushi and rice cakes. There is kimchi, and it was really tasty, so I keep buying and eating it. Besides the kimchi, the fruits are very fresh. There are tomatoes, bananas, and avocados, and various other kinds. I really like sweet pumpkin, but I could n't steam it, so I just came back.

40. And looking at the ramen... oh my. The ramen is so delicious. You can't bring ramen into the U.S. from Korea because anything containing meat is completely banned. Since the soup base has some meat in it, I could n't bring ramen, so I ended up buying it here. You know, like Shin Ramyun and Buldak. My daughter likes Buldak, and she really enjoyed it.

41. When I asked her how it tasted, she said it wasn't as spicy as the ones in Korea. Americans can't handle spicy food very well, so I guess they adjusted it to suit them. There's also Yeol Ramyun. As for fruits, there are oranges and various kinds of grapefruit. The vegetables were also very well washed and fresh.

42. There were even vegetables that aren't available in Korea, so I had fun looking around. I also bought some sweet potatoes. They're good to eat raw, but I plan to boil some too, so I think I bought about three. Now, to tell you about what I bought, I've laid everything out at the hotel to show you. I bought some fruit, some snacks for my daughter, ramen, and some kimchi water. Looking at the price, the kimchi was about 12,000 won. It's expensive, right?
