It's time to highlight some stock picks. Join us now to hear the perspective of Melissa Armo, founder and owner of The Stock Swoosh. Melissa, thank you so much for joining us. Let's start with your bullish picks. We'll start with the key where I think it would be difficult to find a bass player. Nvidia shares have risen again today by 5%.

Tell us why you are so optimistic in this case. Well, remember that Nvidia had some good results over a month ago, but the stock fell after that, which was a shame. So it reached new highs and then immediately fell. So I've been watching this for quite some time to see if it was really going to continue the movement that started with the results.

And today, of course, he has done it, which is a great start. Again, first I want to say that it's been a full week; the market closed on Thursday, but practically a full week in which people have gone back to work today and people have gone long on Nvidia. And I like stocks. I think it will continue to rise.

I think it will surpass 152 and change the figure it reached in earnings, which was the previous high. And it looks like it could go back up to 155, 160, unless the market has something in store for the next few days. So what risk do you see for Nvidia with that thesis? Well, the risk is on Friday. The market has the unemployment figure on Friday.

So again, if something happens on Friday that triggers a massive sell-off in the market while it's closed on Thursday, that wouldn't be good for any stock. Remember, most stocks rise on any given day along with the overall market. Today, for example, is a good example. The market has risen today, so most stocks are rising with the market today.

Some things go up on their own, like Nvidia, which has gone up quite a bit. But again, most stocks rise with the market on any given day. So if the market falls on Friday and reacts negatively to the unemployment figure, we could see a massive sell-off. And I think the market is going to trade in a range , in fact, from now until the next administration takes office on January 20th.

So, even though we are rebounding today, even though the market is up, even though the market is strong, strong to start the year 2025, and we were also strong last year. I think we could get stuck in a very narrow range for the next 2 weeks. And after that, well, we'll see. We'll see if all the momentum and excitement everyone felt after the election will actually continue and push the market higher after January 20th.

Are you worried that some of this is just hype and not genuine appreciation, with regard to Nvidia or the tech industry in general? Of course, I'm not worried. You might be right, but I'm not worried because I operate on impulse. Therefore, the fact that the momentum is bullish cannot be ignored. And remember, the earnings season starts in a couple of days.

Nvidia will then publish its earnings at the end of January, which is in a few weeks. Between now and then, the stock could continue to rise. After that, if the earnings show something that causes the stock to fall, then I might have a different opinion, but it's not always necessarily about what the fundamentals show.

If people are very optimistic about the sector, as they are, if people are very optimistic about the market, optimistic about 2025 and the next administration, people will take long positions, even if what they said is true. OK. And let me ask you about your next bullish pick. They have Tesla in their sights on the bullish side.

Now, look, they have very strong defenders or strong critics when it comes to Tesla. And some of that also seems to depend on how they view the company. If you see it as more than just an electric vehicle company , as an AI company, as Elon Musk is pushing it, if you see the future of the company as more important than, say, the present, like deliveries, what's behind your optimistic view of Tesla?

Well, remember, even before the election, many things rebounded after the election, even before that, Tesla finally had a monstrous boost, something I had been waiting for quite some time. So, Tesla was one of those stocks that was in a downtrend for a while, even though we were in a very bullish market.

And then, suddenly, he turned around . So, what were the reasons for that? You know, we can debate, but the fact is that it did turn around and had a monstrous upward move, one you can't ignore, that started in November and lasted until the end of 2024. In fact, I think the stock would have reached 500 if the market hadn't suffered a massive sell-off at the end of 2024.

And we're very close to that number, very close, and I think the stock is going to reach it. However, I don't know if it will reach that figure before Tesla reports its earnings or not. You're right that people either hate Musk or love him, or whatever; But the stocks are in a very, very strong upward trend.

It has had a huge boost in just the last 2 months. It has outpaced the overall market and, in fact, it's one of my top releases for 2025. Many people believe it has expanded. I don't think it has spread at all. In fact, I think this is a new movement, a bigger movement that has already begun for Tesla.

So when I look at Tesla today, yes, it went up today, it opened with an upward gap today and it's dropping a little this morning, but I think the stock is resting today and could have a bigger move in 2025 than in 2024 because remember that the move in 2024 started at the end of 2024. So, we have a whole year, 12 months for Tesla.

These actions could double this year by 2025. And to be fair to your point, some of that movement happened before the election, when it started to improve some of the delivery figures, but to balance that out, the most recent deliveries were a disappointment. So, it seems there's a bit of turmoil here.

We will certainly be keeping an eye on this. But let's move on to your bass pick. Well, you have Boeing on your radar as a bearish option. Now, we have a note today. Barclays has upgraded its recommendation for Boeing to overweight. They have a new target price of $210. That's their new target price.

They believe they have strengthened their balance sheet. They no longer see it as excessive. They say the free cash flow trajectory is much more reasonable. Why are you still worried about Boeing? Well, today is a good example. Again , I'm worried about that. Because? Again, the stocks should be rebounding and rising more today than they are .

And the other thing is that, again, the profits will be published in a few weeks and Delta reports on Friday. So, guess what? If Delta goes down on Friday, BA will continue to sell as it is today. And again, everything will revolve around profits. Those shares have been very weak while the market has continued to rise.

The last time Boeing's stock reached new all-time highs was years, years ago. And look how strong the market has been in recent years. And Boeing is nowhere near its peak. He's had one problem after another. In my opinion, it will take some time for those shares to recover. They could fall before they rise again.

And I think that, again, it's one of those stocks that you have to pay attention to in case there's a possibility of short selling. I'm not saying to short sell today. I say they can keep an eye on Friday, see how the sector fares with the other shares that are released beforehand for Boeing. And then, of course, keep an eye on the results and see what happens.

I think it's January 29th, I mean the results. I need to double-check it. But it's also in January. So, you know, I'm not saying to short sell today. I'm saying to be on the lookout in case there's a possible short selling opportunity. There has to be a lot going on for me to want to sell long again.

And in the context of the market, as I said, where everything seems strong and everything is rebounding, Boeing is simply not succeeding . You have to let yourself be carried away by the impulse when you see it. And Boeing does n't really have it on the rise. He has it. It's trying to go up a little more right now.

So, he's been struggling for years, honestly, if you've been watching this since before the pandemic. Well, we'll see if you were right to remain bearish on this or if Boeing is changing its mind from Barclays' point of view . But, Melissa Armo, great vision. Thank you very much for your choices regarding the bullish side, Nvidia and Tesla, and the bearish side, Boeing. Thank you very much, Melissa Armo.
