01. Hi everyone and welcome back to Everything Tesla Stock. Even though supply chain issues and inflation continue to negatively impact the EV industry, Tesla keeps taking proactive steps to stay afloat. That has been the case with the American automaker lately. But despite the difficulties, the company's sales and stock price are still rising.

02. Jim Kramer, a well-known TV broadcaster, disagrees with majority of investors who believe that now is the ideal time to grow their holdings of Tesla shares. This might not be the best time to increase shares, according to Jim Kramer. In fact, he's actually warned Tesla holders to sell their Tesla stock by August 30th.

03. Why has Kramer stated this? Let's investigate. Before we start though, if you appreciate this type of stuff, don't forget to like and subscribe and also set on notifications to channel to never miss anything going on in the world of Tesla. Jim Kramer is an American TV broadcaster and investor renowned for his show Mad Money, which have been aired on CNBC since 2015.

04. While not all of his stock selections on the show resulted in significant financial gains for listeners, some did. However, Jim isn't afraid to share his thoughts on many equities, including Tesla shares with a large audience he has amassed over the years. Actually, Kramer was a co-founder of the financial advisory website, The Street.com, and a founder and manager of the multi-million dollar hedge fund Kramer Burkowitz.

05. He's also a well-known author, writing about money, stocks, and how to get rich from what is known. Jim Kramer is a great supporter of the financial market and no doubt a Tesla enthusiast. However, things have changed since his latest warning about Tesla, which caused some agitation among investors who follow him and know him to be a very fervent supporter of the company.

06. Kramer believes that rather than holding on to their Tesla stock for the long run, investors should start thinking about selling it. But it's fairly unclear what he has to say about Tesla. But it might be stated, judging by his prior pronouncements, that Kramer fears the worst is coming up for the EV business.

07. Let's find out why. In a recent interview, Kramer expresses new optimism regarding Ford. This occurred after firm revealed plans to roughly triple the annual production capacity of its future electrified F150 pickup truck to 150,000 units per year by mid 2023. Kramer claims that Ford is presently producing batteries and inverters and that it will probably have 200,000 battery powered cars by 2020.

08. Additionally, he stated that Ford has outperformed Tesla in the past and going forward when it comes to pickup trucks, pointing out that Ford already has efficient manufacturing lines that are producing cars quickly. And although Tesla is expanding its plants, it's enduring growing pains. Whereas Ford has already had major car production operations in place for years longer than Tesla.

09. Shares of Kramer's claimed new fan company Ford rose around 10% to more than 24% earlier this year when they hit a fresh 52- week high. According to Kramer, Ford's options are endless this year. He also advised viewers to get Ford's F-150 Lightning all-electric truck, which is an electric variant of the well-known American pickup truck.

10. In similar news, Kramer also slammed Tesla's Cybert truck and suggested that this was Elon Musk's first flop. Considering that Kramer has always been a tremendous supporter of Tesla's major projects, this is an odd statement. Also, even though Tesla Cybertruck is yet to be introduced, there's already a lot of buzz and pre-sale orders going about now.

11. So, this is something long-term that a Tesla bull should be happy about. However, Kramer is an exception to this rule. So, what may have caused this? Well, Tesla has been struggling with issues related to inflation. According to Tesla CEO, the company's last quarterly earnings decline was less than anticipated and was brought on by a series of price increases for its vehicles.

12. Musk called the price spike in Tesla cars as being embarrassingly excessive and added that further hikes without sufficient measures could affect demand for its products. According to Musk, a business cannot raise prices to an unreasonably high level since doing so would surpass the affordability threshold, which might also result in a decline in demand.

13. Over the past year, Tesla has increased pricing multiple times. Since the beginning of 2021, the Model Y longrange version's price has increased by more than 30% to $65,990. Musk said that Tesla's got a lot of supply chain and manufacturing shocks. And then there's also inflation hitting the worldwide market.

14. According to the CEO, he had expected inflation to start easing by the end of the year and most commodity prices to stabilize, which would eventually allow Tesla to decrease prices modestly. But things don't seem to be going in that direction. Like Kramer, this has been a big worry for Tesla fans, particularly since Musk stated that he had a terrible feeling about the economy.

15. Similarly, Tesla's factories haven't produced as much as anticipated. According to Morgan Stanley analysis, Tesla's earnings are beginning to see near-term margin downturns due to the issues with increasing production. Elon Musk claims that Tesla is experiencing a manufacturing issue rather than a demand issue.

16. Tesla is still aiming for a 50% increase in deliveries this year, despite the CEO's assertions that new plants in Texas and Berlin will be able to build 5,000 vehicles per week by the end of the year. However, the business disclosed that this goal has grown increasingly challenging. Undoubtedly, Tesla consistently excites the automotive industry with incredible new ideas and production goals.

17. However, there have also been several reports about the company's inability to achieve deadlines and delivery dates due to various market constraints, particularly with regard to supply. Fans of Tesla, who eagerly await its projects, have been disheartened by this. This is also one of the reasons why Kramer thinks Ford is progressively replacing Tesla in the market.

18. If he is correct, investors may wish to sell their shares before August 30th. He claims that Ford only has a few issues with its chip supply, which is a problem that other EV firms, including Tesla, are currently facing. While addressing at a conference recently, Elon Musk acknowledged that it's been a supply chain nightmare for the corporation.

19. The company's leaders have also acknowledged some persistent tightness in supplies of older generation microchips. From April to June of this year, Tesla's car deliveries decreased by 18%. This is attributed to numerous causes. One being the recent shutdown in the company's Shanghai facility which disrupted over 40% of the firm sales quarter.

20. Similarly, despite initial claims to the contrary, Tesla has failed to boost production at its new factories in Austin, Texas, and the area around Berlin. But the projects have been receiving massive investments with limited production returns. Therefore, it's reasonable to conclude that Kramer's worries are legitimate at this stage.

21. Additionally, the EV market is getting more and more competitive, and numerous businesses are always vying with Tesla. In the US, Tesla lost ground while Kia and Ford Motor captured a sizable portion of the market. This is concerning since it may pretend something huge for Tesla. It is not unexpected though that these supply chain difficulties are gradually hurting Tesla's finances.

22. The company's overall sales dropped from $18.76 billion to 16.93 billion, suggesting that its finances and perhaps its stock may be on a decline. The selling of Tesla's majority share in Bitcoin holdings is another significant development that might indicate the company's financial troubles. Tesla had converted around 75% of its Bitcoin acquisitions into conventional currency.

23. Given the current condition of cryptocurrencies, it is clear that the corporation purchased at a discount given the market's downturn. According to Musk, the sale was conducted to increase liquidity following the uncertainty of whether the China lockdown will be loosened. So, might Kramer be right by advising that investors should sell their shares?

24. The stock market is unpredictable, so it's impossible to say for sure, but the company's most recent quarterly results might lead one to believe differently. According to Laura Hoy, a stock analyst at the financial firm Hargreaves Landsdown, Tesla's troubles are primarily short-term and profitability should increase in the months to come.

25. The EV business just revealed his financial results in shareholders letter for the second quarter of 2022. And judging by the data, it might be argued that Tesla has managed to outperform expectations on both profitability and revenue despite a challenging quarter. The business recorded 16.934 billion in sales and $227 in earnings per share.

26. It also increased its cash position by 0.8 billion to $18.3 billion in the quarter, which prompted the stock price to grow by 4%. Despite these obstacles, Tesla claims that it continued to achieve notable progress throughout the company in the second quarter of this year. This is an accomplishment in and of itself.

27. Even though it is about a third less than Tesla's earnings from the first quarter of year, Tesla is a rapidly expanding business that has completed a number of groundbreaking achievements in the past. For years, the EV company has dominated the market, consistently ranking higher on the charts than the majority of its rivals.

28. Since no business is immune to market problems, it is not surprising that the company is impacted by them. Therefore, it might not be the best idea to base Tesla's long-term valuation on this. This does not, however, imply that Jim Kramer's assessment of Tesla is incorrect. Given that he has been in the industry for a long time, his claims are most likely supported by data and past economic cycles.

29. But looking by the performance history of Tesla, it's safe to state that the corporation is always on top of it affairs and continually seeks solutions to overcome its problems. Thus it is.
