Let's start the video off with GameStop and why it could be a very, very long-term squeeze or a Tesla sort of squeeze, according to Michael Burry. Michael Burry put out another Substack post, and we're going to cover it, and I'm going to talk about what he had to say, what companies GameStop is likely to buy, in fact, other companies that you wouldn't have expected that he that he expects GameStop to possibly buy or thinks they should buy.
Watch till the end, like the video, subscribe to the channel, turn post notifications on. At the end of the video, I'm also going to give you an earnings play that I am trading tonight after hours. And yeah, should be an exciting day. So, first of all, this is a post from Michael Burry on his Substack.
I'm not going to read the entire thing to you, but think of think of it like this. We know what Ryan Cohen has been saying about Berkshire Hathaway, except he plans to do that strategy at a much, much faster rate. Uh and with Michael Burry's words, turbocharged. With doing this, there are debt issuances, which we have recently seen in the past with these bonds.
Now, Michael Burry says, "If this, then that." If GameStop closes above or holds above $30 for X amount of time, this happens, then that happens. What that means is you're almost likely to see, according to Michael Burry, a stair-stepping method of GameStop picking up companies, issuing debt, picking up companies, issuing debt.
Meanwhile, transforming those companies into profitable companies. So, it's going to take a little bit, but think about an ETF, right? A basket of stocks. GameStop being one stock is basically going to be doing this, acquiring multiple stocks, issuing debt, making those companies profitable, and becoming this huge Berkshire Hathaway.
Instead of buying into companies and waiting for them to compound over decades and decades, they plan to be a lot more aggressive. So, I'm very interested to see how this is going to work out. And even if someone didn't expect a short squeeze straight up to the moon, what short seller would want to be short this stock who is trying to do something like this, especially with the leadership of Ryan Cohen?
I just find that very dangerous. Now, there are a couple of plays that Michael Burry said that GameStop should or would likely buy, and one of them is Wayfair, ticker symbol W. Now, what's interesting about this is Dr. Burry and Larry Cheng in 2020 both mentioned Wayfair. Back then, Larry Larry Cheng posted, "I wonder how often in history a stock has dropped by 75 plus percent in 2 months, only to climb by 7x in the subsequent 6 weeks like Wayfair just did.
Seems like markets are more emotional than efficient." Now, there are other plays that Michael Burry did somewhat mention, and these plays are pretty interesting, to say the least. It would have GameStop selling a lot more. It would it would trigger a lot of growth. Um but, it's not only that, Michael Burry spoke on possibly BBBY.
And this is a stock where I said, "Listen, you're probably not going to expect this one." And he spoke on it, and he said, "It all depends on whether the DK butterfly shell that exists is enough to keep the NOLs intact for a new owner. I should have mentioned that since Ryan is still there as a creditor, uh me may somehow find a way to get those NOLs out of that shell and instead shelter instant Berkshire income." I'm not sure how I'm not sure there is a clear way to do that.
This is secondary to the main event, but would be a neat tax shelter trick if pulled off. This last sentence is the key factor. If GameStop gets some primary targets that are very profitable and they can transform very quickly to make a ton of profit and turn a ton of profit, they can basically grab these NOLs.
And what this means is AMC, Bed Bath & Beyond, these companies that are doing can just be some tax write-offs, but probably not initially. Likely, the first primary companies are going to be something a little bit different, something a little bit profit more profitable, something a little bit bigger, something like Wayfair, right?
Um now, I would love to hear your thoughts in the comments down below. I'm not going to plan to weigh in on them buying Wayfair. I truly have no idea because it has never been mentioned. The only interesting thing I found is that Larry Cheng talked about it a while ago. Other than that, there is no evidence that that is what they are going to buy.
Now, GameStop warrants, since January 20th, are up 60%. Actually, they were up a little bit more. I can show you on the 4-hour time frame here. Yeah, actually, they were up about 60% while GameStop was up only 26%. This isn't me endorsing you to go load up on warrants and let go of your GameStop stock, but I'm going to talk about the charts for a second.
Before I talk about the charts for a second, Nat Turner to join the board of MZYX, an IPO that plans to IPO on the NYSE, a special purpose acquisition company or SPAC that filled a $250 million IPO on February 2nd, 2026 yesterday, targeting AI, fintech, robotics, and digital health. And it's led by CEO Benjamin Zucker.
Again, plans to list on MZYX. Now, this is pretty interesting. Uh I saw someone drop a post here. Hey Grok, who ha- who has the co-founder of Mozaks worked for in the past? Mozaks Um we can see Ishaan Young, co-founder and CIO of Moz previously worked as an investment analyst at Goldman Sachs, D.E. Shaw 2008-2010, Citadel 2011-2014, co-founded Workrise.
Right? A little bit of digging brings up some interesting points and interesting theories, but I would love to hear your thoughts on this in the comments down below, especially the day after uh or a couple days after at least Ryan Cohen announced something big like that. Plus, a newly open call position on GameStop is shown in Wolverine Asset Management's latest 13F in addition to trimming its puts and longs.
Time to hedge possibly on an up move. Now, GameStop obviously got blasted today. It's down 5%. That is because the markets aren't doing too hot, kind of because I'll explain that in a second, but what we do know is that we did break above key levels. We couldn't hold 25 so far, but we are holding above this ascending parallel channel that you can see in these charts.
And we still have yet to, in my opinion, finish the full W pattern in these charts. Um, this is the fractal. We can see that so far we got the initial climb, sell-off right here, second climb, sell-off. Then we got this bigger rally, bigger rally, little bit diminished, and now we're falling off a cliff for 2 days.
Technically, what we should see right here is what we're looking for. Change this to white. Technically, what we should see is a bottom right here for GameStop and us to immediately build back right towards 2550 to 2575. And then from there on out, you should theoretically test this channel, 2680, get a hard rejection again, back down before basing and finally ripping back into this channel to 28-plus from there.
That's technically what the fractals show. Um one thing I want to say is that remember we are still we have still closed above key moving averages on the weekly and daily timeframe. We are pretty bullish for now as well. Taking uh the drawings away, we see 1 2 3 4 5 green weeks in a row so far if we close this week green.
Okay, so all of that put aside, what else do we have? US government delayed the release of the January jobs report today, of of course blaming the government shutdown. What a coincidence. There's also a crazy glitch of the spy dropping to $69 on the daily, which is a very odd glitch and I you know I was curious to assume that this was fake, right?
But someone dropped it in Discord as well and I've been seeing several several screenshots of it. It's actually very scary to see a glitch like this or something, right? Um Trump has announced the creation of a US critical mineral reserve. The spy is down 0.5% 69190. Broke again key levels. Anytime we near 700, it is a huge psychological level, huge liquidity zone, and there are other underlying issues where if the market continues to climb, it's just very hard not to sell right now, right?
So we do have what I would say a weak support floor on the spy and any sort of major catalyst can trigger a fast drawdown like we saw in crypto. Crypto's at Bitcoin's at 77,000, down 2%, and just like we said, this little relief bounce didn't do anything but reject us off of this trend line, indicating so far that there's no reason not to believe we are going to see lower lows towards 68k in the near-term.
Palantir smashed earnings and we actually called this out in Discord yesterday, jumping in calls. Um I don't believe Palantir is going to hold up as I said yesterday. I just thought we are going to see a pop to 165. We got a pop to 165.60. We are now selling back off. We need to hold 153. If we close under 153 on the day, it's very bearish.
But overall, I see things are somewhat bearish across the board, and I think Palantir is sort of finishing a head and shoulders pattern, a more macro head and shoulders pattern, where we head towards $103 to $98. And I will be watching it from there. But again, they smashed earnings, so maybe this bearish bias could be completely blown out of proportion and, you know, completely gone.
Um, last thing I want to say is I'm playing an earnings tonight, and it's AMD. AMD, I have AMD in a long-term portfolio. I've made a very good gain on AMD. I'm not letting go of my shares, but I am playing puts on AMD. Uh, I [snorts] do have some crazy targets for AMD to possibly get to if we see something, and this isn't me telling you to jump in.
These are your These are YOLO trades. And again, if you're not in the Discord, you would see these trades all the time, and every trade that I take, uh, at least for the most part, as long as I remember to drop it. And then I'm in there talking on the daily stocks and crypto. But ultimately, I'm playing puts on AMD, 230 puts this Friday, and I believe AMD could see a massive earnings move tonight.
Um, hopefully, you know, hopefully we see it go in our favor. But the point of this is this is a lotto trade, and I will still hold shares. So, we go up, we win. We go down, we win, and I will add more shares. Uh, overall, guys, that is what I got for you for today's video. Let me know what earnings you're playing tonight.
If you are playing AMD, again, this very high risk, high reward, implied volatility is very high. This is a trade where you better expect to lose it all, or I'm not going to say the other side because I don't want you to get euphoric and jump in. Nothing I say is financial advice. I'm not a financial advisor.
