Massive sell-off in BMNR and MSTR, mainly because CPI data was not very good. They turned out to be higher than expected. The probability of an interest rate hike has increased from 20% to 50% in prediction markets. Overall, the situation is bleak, but today I'm going to show you something that I think you'll really like .
We will focus on the broader perspective of what MSTR and BMNR can become for you in the future. I'll give you a little example, because if you look at the power of these stocks, you'll see that I've created a cool retirement calculator that you'll soon have free access to. I'll show you how it works.
This will help people focus on the future: what will things look like in 10 or 15 years if I want to retire from BMNR and MSTR. So, today we're going to break it down to make you feel better, because no one wants to see the market fall. Then I will show you charts showing the direction of the trend going down and what I am waiting for to make it go up again.
And when I understand that the situation is changing, I will definitely show it to you today, okay? So let's take a look. This will make you feel better, and that's my goal in this presentation, because BMNR has fallen to about $22. MSTR was going down to 144. It seems like it's at 145 now. So I created this for you for free, okay?
Because I want you to look to the future with optimism, and I feel like you probably want to feel good too. So, follow me if you want. It's downstairs. You just click. You can access it absolutely free and predict what MSTR and BMNR could become for you in the future and how much money you need for retirement to provide for yourself and your family, okay?
So, if I go into the calculator, I choose MSTR or BMNR. Let's say I choose MSTR now, okay? Then the question arises: how old are you now and when do you want to retire? I can indicate my age, for example, let's say I'm 42 years old, okay? I'm making this up, and I want to retire at 60, okay? So I'm putting this in here and continuing with the 60s .
Um, then the next question is: what monthly income do I want to receive before taxes? So if I look at this, let's say I want to have...well, let's just have fun. $200,000 per month before taxes. You can specify any amount , but you know, in 12 or 15 years, inflation will be quite high. So, $200,000 a month before taxes.
Let's just enter this and play around with it, okay? Now question number four: what annual withdrawal percentage should we use? So, here's the thing. I have been working in financial services for 22 years. When you own stocks, if you set your withdrawal percentage too high and it falls on a year when stocks crash, it can seriously devastate your portfolio.
So you should choose a conservative withdrawal percentage. Maybe by then you'll have converted your MSTR or BMNR to something else. Maybe you can convert MSTR to Stretch, if Stretch still exists, and get a 10% withdrawal. But let's be conservative and take a 6% withdrawal rate in retirement. This means that if you have $10 million in retirement, you take 6% out of your portfolio per year, right?
So, we're doing this, okay? Next is the current amount invested in MSTR. Let's say you have a million, one million dollars. It seems like it's 100,000. Let's say, let's say you have a million dollars in MSTR and you want to retire at 60, okay? Last question: how much will you add each month and what is the stock price now?
So, let's say I want to add another $10,000 per month in MSTR, and the MSTR price is currently $145, okay? And I just press "continue " on my calculator. Again , I created this for you for free. Essentially, my MSTR retirement plan is that I would need $40 million in retirement to maintain a standard of living of $200,000 per month, adjusted for inflation , right?
So if you're planning, for example, you think you need 10, 20, or 50 grand in retirement, adjust that for inflation and put aside, say, 75,000 in retirement, okay? per month. So, that's $200,000 per month at a 6% withdrawal rate. So I need $40 million in my MSTR portfolio, if let's say I'm 42 years old, and at 60 I want to retire, I need $40 million in my MSTR portfolio.
So, the required annual return for this, interestingly enough, is only 5.8% with compound interest. Which is quite impressive. Now remember, I'm hypothetically investing $10,000 per month in this plan, right? So, that basically means I need to get to 40 million in 18 years. Well, I'm over 42, so it's just hypothetical.
But, let's say you have 18 years until retirement; you only need the annualized MSTR return, if you have a million dollars right now, of 5.8%, and that's assuming you add $10,000 each month in stocks. So that's pretty small, right? For example, 5.8% is required. Now if we look at, if I get 20% on my portfolio over the next 18 years, you look here, my MSTR will grow to $193 million at age 60.
So, it really shows you the power of compound interest and a stock like this, if it were yielding 20%. Maybe you're optimistic and say, well, it'll give 30% over the next 18 years. OK? But, you know, 20%—is that unrealistic? No, because the S&P 500 gives 14 or 15%. So to say that MSTR will give 20 % over the next 18 years, every year, uh, and taking inflation into account too.
For example, you know, they used to say about the S&P : "Hey, if I get 10-12% in the S&P, life will be great." Well, at the point where we printed 40% more money in 2020 and 2021, or should I say, the money supply increased by 40%. You know, everything has become more expensive, including stocks. So , in the end, the S&P 500 has grown, and instead of 12% per year, it's getting 14 or 15% per year , right?
So MSTR will likely gain more than 20% per year for the next 18 years. And maybe it will be 25%. Maybe it will be 30%. This is your pension calculator. The link is below. It is 100% free. You can just do it yourself. But I thought we should hear some good news about the future instead of sitting here and watching this all sell out.
And I'll show you why it's selling out in a minute on the charts, okay? So, that's all. So, if I'm 42 years old , have a million in MSTR , and I invest $10,000 a month, I only need 5.8% per year to reach my retirement goal of having $40 million in MSTR at age 60. With an income of $200,000 per month.
If I get 20%, I will have 193 million. That's the power of why it's worth holding MSTR or BMNR, investing in them, or perhaps holding, selling at the peak, and buying back again. This is also the strategy I used with BMNR. But that's why people do things like that. Does that make sense? Because these stocks are powerfully capitalized in the long term, they can really win and help someone achieve great success, you know?
So, I thought that was good news to some extent . If you just joined us, I was just demonstrating how the calculator works. The link to it is below. It is free for you. You can calculate: if I own this much MSTR, what will it look like in the future at 10% or 20% per annum. How much do I need to retire?
You will indicate the amount needed for retirement. For example: "Hey, I need to live on 50,000 a month in retirement, or 100,000, or 25,000." And then it will offer a specific withdrawal rate that you can choose, for example, I want to withdraw 5% or 6% from my portfolio. So that's below. But this...
today is a truly terrible day. Let's call things by their right names. And the idea that you can look at this and say, "Wow, if I hold MSTR for 18 years, I can get rich." And it's really cool, just like with BMNR. So when you go down and use this calculator, I suggest you choose BMNR or MSTR, go through the six questions, and boom—your retirement plan is ready.
Of course? Is n't that cool, huh? This is better news than sitting here and watching the stock fall in price. Now I'll show you the graphs, okay? Because, I have positions in MSTR and in BMNR right now. I haven't been trading lately because I've been at conferences and traveling. Based on chart analysis, I will likely sell, buy, sell again, and buy again to gain more shares during the downturn.
So, I'll show you what's happening on the charts right now. But if you want to get this calculator I just showed you for free, just click on the link in the description. I literally just created it. So it should be linked in the description below, and I hope you find it useful, okay? That's all. Here is your pension calculator, take it.
Now let 's move on to the graphs to see the bloodbath of what happened today. We dropped to 44. It's terrible, just terrible. I am currently in my second location in Florida. So if you ask, "Ted, what's wrong with your office?" Well, I'm near the water, okay? So, let's look at MSTR. This is something to look out for in the short term, dudes.
And I don't want to say that I warned everyone, but I did warn that MSTR was starting to move, as was BMNR. So let's look at BMNR first, because BMNR was the first to collapse and also the first to go up, guys. So, that's the key. It went up back in July, before MSTR. And so it looked like he signaled a collapse on the daily charts here at $26, saying, "Hey, dude." It's simple, it goes down .
But notice, as I said, I have an open position right now. The graphs are going down. I could probably sell and buy back, because I did that a lot last year with MSTR: sell, buy back, sell, buy back. Because when you see the daily charts going down like this , it will take time to recover. Look at this slope.
Do you understand what I mean? So, for me personally, this is not tax, financial, or legal advice. Don't forget to show the disclaimer. But for me personally , with such a downward slope , it would have been a good moment a week ago, but I was traveling. Damn it. Damn it. Just sell when BMNR goes up during the day and buy back cheap to get more shares, okay?
And the reason is that the slope is simply directed down, down and down again. So even when you see growth throughout the day, like I saw yesterday on MSTR. It was obvious. I'm thinking, "MSTR just jumped to 155 yesterday or so." "He was trying to break through ." I just watched and thought, "This would be the perfect time to sell and buy back." “But I wasn’t at the computer, and I wasn’t fully ready to take this step because I was doing other things here on vacation.
So I just didn't do it. But look at the daily charts. They say everything is bad, okay? So, in the short term—not good , okay? The weekly schedule is something to keep an eye on. As I said, the weekly chart shows that when the weekly trend is strong, it looks like we are safe in the long term . Now, if this weekly figure on BMNR gets thinner, it better not go red, man, because then I'll really worry.
I would be really worried if the weekly chart turned red. Um, but I really think the worst—the drop to $13—is behind us . Can we go below 20? Of course we can. But as a long-term investor, I'm looking at this weekly trend. If it stays green, I'm safe. If it turns red—uh, it's not good, okay? So, somehow.
And then MSTR, if you look at MSTR again, on the daily chart it's not that bad. This is a weekly chart, so the weekly trend still looks strong. Of course? Still looking strong. Hmm, so he's still strong here. But you see, when it's fluorescent and pointed upwards, it's very strong. I would say it is still stable in terms of the weekly trend, because when it is not fluorescent, it is simply not strong.
It's stable, right? But daytime is complete crap. Sludge. And that's just predictable, man. It's just like... By the way, these are my indicators. Um, I don't have a link below so you can get training on this, but if you follow the link to get the retirement calculator below for free. At the end, you can get, uh, I have some free bonuses for you at the end if you fill out the retirement calculator, okay?
This will help you get more training from these indicators if you wish. So, this is where MSTR started to drop sharply. Um, and actually the exit was somewhere around, I would say, about 153. And you know, throughout the day the price would go up, you know, to 155 sometimes, then it would go down to 151, from 151 back to 154.
So there were times when, given the decline, it was worth selling and buying again. Um, if I was trading at that time, I would have done that. But, uh, because you can just see, and this downward slope is not good. This is simply not good. And it follows this path, it's so interesting. BMNR in July , if you go back and look at the charts or watch one of my previous videos, you will see that BMNR took off in July much earlier than MSTR.
MSTR waited a month. And the sell-off in BMNR happened faster, and the daily charts in BMNR changed faster than in MSTR. Now MSTR is following the path of BMNR in this. And if you look at the drop from the peak of BMNR from almost $29 to $22. I don't know how much that is mathematically. Apparently, this is already 20% of the peak.
And MSTR is not at all 20% of the peak, uh, at all. It's more like a 10% drop from the peak. So, BMNR led during the rise, and it also leads BMNR during the fall. And MSTR follows him. Um, so tomorrow we'll see PPI coming out tomorrow, but that's not what we'll see on the federal interest rate, which has gone from a 20% probability to a 50%.
In the short term, this does n't look good. And that's just how it is . Hmm, so, somehow. Of course? But the good news is to look at the future and think big in the long term, you know? If you set it up and forgot, just grab my calculator. Listen, it's free. Go and get it. Good? Treat yourself to some good news today, okay?

If you 're playing the long game, I don't know if that's the case, okay? So, somehow . Use it. This is a retirement plan based on hypothetical numbers I prepared. This is a period of 18 years, guys. Yes? So you see this number of 40 million and you just joined and you think, "What the hell is this?" "That's based on an 18- year period.
A million dollars in MSTR, and the interest rate doesn't even have to be high to get 40 million in 18 years, okay? So substitute your own numbers, your own calculations; full disclaimer: this is not tax, financial, or legal advice, but I wanted to give you a tool because with all the chaos going on right now, it's nice to have a way to look at what MSTR might be like in 10 years, plug in your own numbers for what you expect, and create your own retirement plan, okay?
