Today, I want to talk about how Ken Griffin is in big trouble. I want to talk about the new short-selling reforms that will be put in place as a result of the new presidential election, and who exactly will be taking Ken Griffin head-on. So, stay tuned and let's make some money. So, let's dive straight in with the key information.
So, we can see Mike Investing has tweeted saying, "Breaking news. Ken Griffin, the CEO of Citadel, is in full panic after Trump's presidential confirmation." When Donald Trump takes office, he said him and his administration will tackle hedge funds, market makers, and eliminate naked short-selling. As soon as Trump's presidency was announced, the DJT company, which is Donald Trump's media company, posted this article on Truth Social saying, "Rather than support our common efforts to promote transparency and compliance, Citadel Securities bizarrely targeted our CEO with an unhinged attack.
Here's our response." They said, "Citadel Securities, a corporate behemoth that has been fined and censured for an incredibly wide range of offenses, including issues related to naked short-selling, and is world-famous for screwing over everyday retail investors at the behest of other corporations, is the last company on Earth that should lecture anyone on integrity." And as I said, remember this is Donald Trump's media company already going after Ken Griffin as soon as Donald Trump's presidency was announced.
Now, so we know straight off the bat that Donald Trump does not like Ken Griffin. You may remember this video from a couple of years ago. Ken Griffin, Citadel, what a guy he is. Where are you, Ken? Where the hell is he? He's trying to hide it some of his money. Look, he doesn't want to stand up. Where the hell is Ken?
You see Steve you'll stand and he's very quiet about it. He's in here someplace. He just doesn't want to stand. So, Donald Trump has known for a long time that Ken Griffin is trying to hide his money and screw over everyday retail investors. And Boss Blunts has added saying that Donald Trump is the only one that's ever had the balls to call out market manipulation from Ken Griffin of Citadel directly.
Secondly, we had Elon Musk stand straight up and also push back and fight back against those short-sellers once again today. Secondly, we had Elon Musk standing straight up and pushing back and fighting back against those short-sellers as well today. Elon Musk tweeted just a few hours ago saying, "Justice prevails." Adding saying, "Meanwhile, none of the many short-sellers who egregiously manipulated Tesla stock for years and lied repeatedly on TV have been prosecuted, not one." So, it wouldn't surprise me if Elon Musk also helps out with the current administration to prosecute these manipulating short-sellers.
We know Elon Musk is very close with Donald Trump, and we know Elon Musk wants what's right for the general market and wants to push back against those manipulative short-sellers. Also, just a quick one, if you haven't already seen the new YouTube channel I've started, I've just posted a video on exactly how to start day trading stocks as a beginner in 2024.
This video covers everything from stock screeners to trading strategies to different trading platforms to the five key data metrics I follow for every trade that I take. And this video helps me take the trades that I take in the Millionaire Mindset Group. If you do want to learn more about trading other stocks, this is a brilliant video to start with.
I will leave a link in the description below and pinned as the top comment as well. And also guys, if you haven't yet joined the Millionaire Mindset Trading Group, be sure to use the link down in the description below as well. On top of that, Devin Nunes, the former Californian governor and current CEO of DJT, is now investigating any market manipulations and wrote a letter to the Nasdaq, the SEC, Congress, attorneys general, and the Department of Justice regarding naked short-selling.
Devin Nunes said, "You, Ken Griffin, aren't going to screw with us, and we're going to come after you." Ken Griffin replied saying that Devin Nunes is a proverbial loser who tries to blame naked short-selling for his falling stock price, saying if he worked for Citadel Securities, we'd fire him. "As ability and integrity are at the center of everything we do." Now, that comment is actually what spurred this post from Truth Social and directly from the CEO of DJT.
And the post added saying that when Donald Trump takes office, he and his administration will tackle criminals on Wall Street and help eliminate these synthetic shares and naked shorting once and for good. On top of that, Meta News has added saying the former CEO of Overstock, Patrick Byrne, stated that when Donald Trump becomes president, he'll help the administration with stock settlement issues in US markets, aka naked shorting.
So, it seems like we're getting a bit of a task force put together here between Donald Trump, Elon Musk, Patrick Byrne, and other CEOs as well. This is exactly what we need for short-selling reform, and Donald Trump as president will be able to implement that. On top of that, Meta News added saying there's potential big changes coming to US markets regarding naked shorting and market manipulation.
He said, "You'll remember that Trump's vice president pick, J.D. Vance, previously signed the letter demanding answers for the MMTLP community members." Obviously, this is back in 2023, but J.D. Vance is now the vice president, and again will have way more weight and way more push with these demands.
And alongside Donald Trump will be able to reform US markets. Especially again, as the CEO of DJT, Devin Nunes, has previously stated, "The SEC is really, really corrupt." Saying that Gary Gensler targeted Donald Trump. So again, it's likely Gary Gensler will be out and SEC corruption will be reformed as well.
This really is the two things we've needed from the get-go. Short-selling reform, actual short-selling reform, and SEC reform as well. The SEC corruption helps out with these short-sellers, and therefore nothing can be done while the SEC is corrupt and while short-selling is out of control. But if both of those are fixed, goodbye naked short.
I'm personally very interested to see what kind of reforms are made as result of Donald Trump being president. Who will replace Gary Gensler at the SEC, and will SEC corruption actually be fixed? We know Donald Trump is going to work with Elon Musk. We know both of those dislike short-sellers, and we know both of those want markets to work fairly.
Especially with many people in Donald Trump's ear like J.D. Vance, like Devin Nunes, and many other CEOs who lead these companies which are being abused and manipulated by illegal short-sellers. And I'm sure if Donald Trump gets the chance to fix the markets, listen to the people in his ear, and get back at Ken Griffin at the exact same time, he'll be all for it.
We know Ken Griffin also doesn't like Donald Trump and has said that Donald Trump is a three-time loser and that Donald Trump should not become president in 2024. Obviously, this is an old video because we know Trump has now been elected president. But again, I'm sure Trump won't appreciate being called a three-time loser and all of these different names that Ken Griffin has called him over the years.
So again, Trump doesn't like Ken Griffin, Ken Griffin doesn't like Trump, but Trump can get rid of Ken Griffin and destroy his illegal short-selling business in one fell swoop. Now, on top of that, Adam Aron has added saying he's euphoric following AMC's second-best quarter three earnings in its entire existence.
AMC announced total revenues of $1.35 billion, positive adjusted EBITDA of $161 million, and $527 million of cash. AMC announced total revenues of $1.35 billion, $161.8 million of positive adjusted EBITDA, and over $500 million of cash. AMC has been profitable on an EBITDA basis quarter on quarter on quarter, and now is even profitable year on year.
Revenues were 31% higher than the previous quarter. Net loss has been reduced as well, and he's attributed these gains to a recovering box office industry. And also discussed the strength of AMC's balance sheet. He's also very enthusiastic about movie releases in November and December of this year as well as 2025 and 2026, anticipating a significant increase in industry-wide box office revenues.
So again, it looks like we're heading for a blockbuster fourth quarter as well as an even further improved 2025 and 2026. So, it just seems to me the shorts are sticking themselves into an even worse position, especially now that Donald Trump is president and AMC is just continuing to improve. But guys, be sure to let me know what you think down in the comments below.
And as always guys, be sure to ding that notification bell because that way you'll be alerted when I upload a new video. Cheers.
