I believe that prior to last week's jobs report, the market was operating under the assumption of an extremely aggressive Fed, one that would raise rates three times, including a 75% probability of an October hike. This employment report has been more moderate. We will receive an inflation report for September in two weeks .
From our point of view, it does. We believe these unique events are ending, so I think there will be softer inflation readings over the next 6 months. And that allows not only the Fed to back down somewhat from its aggressive stance, but it will also allow bond yields to normalize as inflationary uncertainty begins to subside.
And I think there are many clues , because I believe that tech stocks reaching new highs and crypto performing so well cannot perform well under tighter monetary conditions . So I think they are anticipating easier financial conditions ahead. That's Tom Lee and I'm the digital assets guy. It looks like a very bright outlook is on the horizon.
I hope you enjoyed that introduction. We'll be back here in a couple of seconds and we'll have some great things to talk about: Cathie Wood's predictions, iTrust Capital, some different options, and much more. See you there. So I think it's exciting to have a completely new asset class. Welcome back.
I'm the digital asset guy, your host, and here's the crypto market basically the same as last week : Bitcoin at 85,500, Ethereum around 2,700, Tether at $1, BNB at 783, XRP exactly at $1.50. To me, it looks amazing. USDC at one dollar, Solana looking good at 120 dollars. Tron near its all-time highs.
Everything is almost the same, but we'll talk more about Chainlink and Solana later, and what some of the big players are saying. I think Cardano looks amazing at around 27 cents. Litecoin , remember that blockchain proponents said this is a perfect setup for a dinosaur altcoin to break out of Wyckoff accumulation.
First thing to discuss, here's an article I saw from The Motley Fool. Cathie Wood predicts that this cryptocurrency could jump 1,665% from here. Bitcoin needs to double its value every year to reach a price of 1.5 million by 2030. Cathie Wood doubles down on her predictions. So that's his prediction, one and a half million by the end of 2030.
If we reach half a million by 2030, I would be very happy. There are a growing number of use cases for Bitcoin, including its ability to act as a global store of value . I think that's a silly reason. There are utilities, use cases, and other much better coins like XRP. Bitcoin will be a store of value, but there are better, faster, and cheaper options.
Although Bitcoin's upside potential is considerable, higher returns could be possible by investing in AI. Yes, we already know. For almost 5 years, Cathie Wood of ARK Invest has insisted that investors increase their exposure to Bitcoin. She was the first high-profile investor to set a $1 million price target for Bitcoin in 2022 and has since firmly maintained her bullish predictions.
One example is that he recently reiterated a $1.5 million price target for Bitcoin by 2030. Based on its current price of $85,000, that represents an impressive potential gain of 1,665% for Bitcoin investors. May I take a look at it . And if Bitcoin reaches 1.5 million, how much do you think XRP will reach?
That means, well, who knows, but we could see Ethereum at almost any level; it would make sense compared to that. We could see Ethereum at 85,000 or 100,000. Ethereum has more use cases than Bitcoin, and XRP has more use cases than Ethereum in my opinion, so it will be interesting. The catalyst for this will be institutional adoption.
Now, there is a growing number of use cases. OK. So, with all the drama surrounding the Clarity Act, we see that it was very political, and now the SEC and CFTC will simply set the rules on their own, and we will overcome this regulatory hurdle with or without the Clarity Act. Then, the New Era Finance podcast had Matt Hogan on the show and he gave his Mount Rushmore of cryptocurrencies: Bitcoin, ETH, Solana and Chainlink.
So, those are good bets. I think they'll all do well. If we have a true altcoin season, I think all of the top 100 will do well, as we 've seen when capital flows from Bitcoin to the rest, but here's what he said about those three. The last time we spoke, he mentioned Mount Rushmore, which made me happy.
Bitcoin, ETH, Solana and Chainlink . I want to ask you, is that basket still the same or has it changed with everything that's been thrown in recent years ? Yes. Well, I think that basket is still the same. Although, you certainly have Hyperliquid making a case for being sculpted into Mount Rushmore .
You certainly have some interesting tokens below that are presenting their arguments right now. Zcash argues that privacy should be respected on Mount Rushmore. Venice argues that real-world AI should be on Mount Rushmore. There are DeFi assets that I am very optimistic about. But I still think that if you make a big bet on devaluation, that's Bitcoin.
And regarding tokenization, it's hard to argue that those four assets aren't part of your exposure. So they're still up there , but I think there are some competitors who believe we should enlarge the sculptures to include their names. I do n't understand how you could not include XRP with a global payments company, Ripple, using XRP commercially.
Let's take a look at some of these others. Incidentally, Matt Hogan is the chief investment officer at Bitwise and co-founder of FutureProof HQ, formerly CEO of ETF.com. So, let's take a look at them. I mean, Bitcoin, we all know the situation there. I think ETH will perform well. However , I don't think there will be as many gains as with XRP.
And then he mentioned Chainlink. Chainlink has reached about $50. We see it here in the all- time high chart. Yes, like $48 or $50. I own Chainlink and have owned it all this time. I entered Chainlink for less than a dollar. I should have bought more. But you see, if we're now at $13 to get back to its all-time high, we're looking for maybe a 4x, a little less than a 4x there.
So for XRP, maybe a little. Right now, before this latest all-time high, we had XRP at 30 or 40 cents and it went up 7x. But now that that's over, I do n't know if this all-time high is still valid. I think we're going to go much higher than that, but Chainlink, I'm not saying it's a bad choice, I'm just saying that in the last bull run, we didn't reach a new all-time high.
So, you know, it may return to its old all-time high before setting a new one. So it will be interesting. I think it's a good choice, but XRP is at a dollar and a half. This is $13.80. You can get more coins with XRP. Furthermore, Cardano, I've been raising the alarm about this. You can almost get four for a dollar, and the Digital Asset Guy was accumulating Cardano at 15 cents and it's been above $3.
So that's almost a 20x guaranteed return from when it was at, uh, 15 cents. I'm just saying there are others that are also excellent buys. Please remember that nothing I say is financial or investment advice; these are just my thoughts, opinions, feelings, personal philosophies, and things like that, for educational and entertainment purposes only .
And you'll want to keep an eye on these stablecoins. And I know you'll say, "Oh, Digital Asset Guy, why would we want to be in stablecoins?" I've never owned a stablecoin, but one day I will because places like iTrustCapital offer returns on stablecoins. Since the Clarity Act was not passed, they didn't have to change anything.
So I'm not going to say the percentage, but I've seen 2 to 5% in stablecoins, well, actually even higher. And then we have rUSD down here at number 40. Listen to what Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent has to say about stablecoins. And we're going to think long and hard about the stablecoin regime, and as President Trump has indicated, we will maintain the U.S.
as the dominant reserve currency in the world, and we will use stablecoins. So, with platforms like iTrustCapital, the Digital Asset Guy's favorite place to buy, sell, and yes, store cryptocurrencies, stablecoins, gold, and silver, you can do just that and earn returns on your stablecoins. It's a stablecoin, it's pegged to $1.
Yes, they occasionally lose peg in special situations like liquidations and things like that , also in bull markets, I 've seen it. But the idea is that they stay at one dollar, and you can even have them inside an IRA account and earn, you know, 2, 3, 4%. I don't know exactly how much it is, it fluctuates.
But anyway, my favorite is the Roth IRA where you do n't pay taxes when you buy or sell, and you don't pay taxes someday when you withdraw money from that Roth IRA because you already paid taxes on the money you put in. Then they also have the traditional one, the SEP, the premium custody accounts or the regular account.
You continue to pay only a 1% commission, which is the lowest in the industry, but you get institutional-grade custody, just like with the Treasury. If you have a business, an LLC, or a non-profit organization, Caleb and Brown is my newest partner. Alright, here's something fun I'm going to leave you with. This is the Digital Asset Guy. This is a rare, unedited street interview with DAG. This was like the last day of the trip in Miami where I was very tired. You can hear that I 'm losing my voice. So, I was interviewing this lady who lives right in one of the most elegant areas of Miami.
And it was a great interview if you listen to it. But the funny thing that happened was that his dog was doing his business and he had never seen a small dog poop so much. So, take a look at some of this. I do n't think we'll see everything, but I'll speed it up at the end so you can see this thing with the dog.
I'm the Digital Asset Guy, a cryptocurrency influencer, and we're asking people in Miami. So, how much money does it take to live this lifestyle within a reasonable radius of Miami? It depends on where you live. Then, the dog begins to relieve itself . Like this building, what do you think? How much money is needed?
How much does it cost annually or how much per month to live in this building and do things here? Around, anywhere from $8,000 and up. $8,000 a month? And you think cryptocurrencies have impacted Miami? Of course, yes. Yes, tell me, tell me. Of course . I'm fascinated by this place. I don't know much about it, I just know he's done it.
Yes. The dog is still doing its business . Yes, absolutely. Do you think it's fair for men to require women to sign a prenuptial agreement to get married today in 2026? So. Yes. I would sign a prenuptial agreement. Very cool. Which of these ships is yours? That, I think, really was his ship. get out financially.
Aw, there's another dog. Uh, financially, um. Aw. Oh, so many. Aw, hey, what are you...? That dog was like stepping in poop. So anyway, you'll have to go see the rest, but in the end, just look at how fun this is in the end. I didn't realize how often the dog went to the bathroom. YouTube. I'm the digital asset guy.
I'm the digital asset guy. Look how I notice it. A lot. I had no idea until I stopped to analyze it, but it was a fun interview. It was a good interview. She gave good information, and we talked about how the really rich people look poor in Miami, and the opposite with those who just look rich and so on, but it was fun.
I think it was my last interview of the trip. I was really tired of doing all these street interviews and having a good time with some friends . It was a great moment. I love doing those street interviews. I can't wait for the next trip to do it. I truly believe this content will age well, and people will look back and say, "Wow, look how people had no idea what crypto was, and girls were saying 'I would never date a crypto guy'." And now , in 2030, when Bitcoin reaches a million dollars or half a million, whatever, I think that will get people's attention.
I don't think cryptocurrencies have become mainstream yet. I don't believe it. We've made some progress in bull markets, but still, I was watching Matt Hogan, and he just posted that "99% of the world's largest investors have no exposure to Bitcoin, but 95% of all Bitcoin is already owned by someone ." That's very important.
So , I think we're still very, very early. Thank you so much for watching. Please click the like button. Make sure you're subscribed. And please share this video with anyone you think might find it useful. Word of mouth and direct recommendations are what help me the most. If you help me share my content, you'll be helping me get a little closer to my dream job, which is talking about crypto every day.
Thank you so much. Digital Asset Guy out. So, I think it's exciting that we have a completely new asset class.
