Yeah. All right, brother. So, picture this. Yeah. 2017. Larry thinking, the most powerful man in finance, he called Bitcoin an index for Monre. Fast forward to 2024, the same man launches the biggest Bitcoin fund in history. So, what changed? Did Bitcoin change? Now Larry changed and honestly that should scare you a little bit.
Tonight I want to walk you through what he saw and more importantly what he's not telling you. London, right? So, let's go back. September 15th, 2008. Leman Brothers collapsed. Gone overnight. Just like that. And nobody knew who was holding the bad debt. So the US government had one choice. Let it all burn or call someone.
And who do they call? Nah, they don't call boosters. They call Larry. Larry think Larry F company Black Rocks gets hired so to the wreckage. Not as a victim though, but uh as a cleanup crew. And you know, I want you to think about this for a second. The whole system is collapsing and one man gets handed the keys to everything.
Now you may wonder why why 2008 happened? What was the main reason? You see the banks, they were giving mortgages to almost everybody, anybody, including people who could never pay them back. And the banks, they knew that. Then they took those bad loans, packaged them up together and sold them as safe investment.
Rating agencies stand them triple A. That is the highest grade you can get. Absolutely crazy. So, everyone trusted the system, but the system was lying. And when it broke, who do you think paid the price? You did. Taxpayer bail out the banks $800 billion. $800 billion. And nobody went to jail. Let that sit for a moment.
You see my friend, banks got bigger and people like you got poorer. That's how the system works. Now here where it gets really interesting because you see this type of situation where the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. This This wasn't new. Right, brother. Just grab one of those actually. Sorry, brother.
the card. 497. Five quid. Yeah, that that's crazy. Yeah, I'm just I'm just recording, you know. Just souvenirs. Souvenirs. Yeah. Yeah. All right. Cheers. Yeah. Five quid for a monster. Five quid. All right. Please understand me now. When I say that this was not new, I was referring to 1933 when Roosevelt made it illegal for American to own gold.
Not because gold was dangerous, but because people were leaving the dollar. Americans, they could see that the government was printing a lot of money, so they ran to gold. Makes sense, right? The government did not fix the problem. They just blocked the exit and just postponed what was an inevitable outcome.
And then in 1971, Nixon took the dollar off the gold standard completely. Since then, the dollar has lost 96% of its value. 96%. Madness. Absolute madness. Every time the money breaks, the pattern is the same. Print more, debase more, and hope nobody notices. But Larry, he noticed. And that is the difference between him and most people.
You see, Larry, he did not change his mind because he suddenly like Bitcoin. He look at the system Yelp built and he could see the cracks. [crying and screaming] In January 2024, Black Croc launched Aishia Bitcoin Trust with the ticker IBIT. Within months, it become the fastest growing ETF in history.
Fastest ever. Billions are invested. And that's from people like you and I. from institutions, pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, the serious money. So, Larry went from Bitcoin is for money laundering to Bitcoin is the digital gold in just 7 years. And you've got to ask yourself, did you suddenly become a Bitcoin fan?
Or did you realize that the whole system is running out of time? Cuz here's the thing about Bitcoin, right? It does not care about who you are. There's no SEO. There is no board. There's no one to call. There will always be only 21 million Bitcoin ever. Nobody can print more. Nobody can change that.
And that my friend that exactly what Larry understood scarcity that cannot be manipulated. So here is what I want you to think about tonight. Yeah. Larry has 10 trillion dollars under management and he shows Bitcoin not because it is trendy but because he did the math. The same ma told him in 2008 the system is fragile.
So the question isn't whether Bitcoin keeps going up. The question is, what do you do when the smartest money in the room is quietly moving to something the system cannot control? I'm walking through London Picades. It is 2:00 a.m. Lights are on. Shops are open. Things are running. Everything is fine.
But Larry think he's not betting on five. So maybe, just maybe, neither should you.
