Hi, this is Anthony. Remember, this is just entertainment, not investment advice. But one investor I'm really interested in right now is Bill Ackman, and, uh, his investments haven't been perfect, but I think, you know, he's done a great job at Pershing Square over the years. I think he's basically an honest and open guy.
So, you know, I think he's someone to watch out for . He is now trying to create a mini-Berkshire Hathaway with the help of the Howard Hughes Corporation, which he eventually took control of. So, he's being interviewed on this channel called CAZ Investments with Tony Robbins. Now, I have nothing against Tony Robbins.
I think you have to be very careful, and, uh, his, uh, collaboration with Dean Graziosi, which I think is a little bit of a scam. I think you should be careful when Tony Robbins speaks, but I think there is some meaning and value in his words. Uh, he wrote a book or a series of books. Uh, one of them is like the holy grail of investing, and he's working with CAZ Investments, I think.
So he has an incentive to present them in a good light. Anyway, the head there seems to be named Chris Zook or Christopher Zook , and Tony Robbins interviews Bill Ackman on this particular, uh, channel in this episode. So, uh, they're talking about three different companies that Bill Ackman is associated with.
So, uh, this is one of them, Pershing Square, and this one, and the next one I'm going to show you, came out, uh, in April. Uh, I think maybe on the same day. In any case, it has not existed as a public company for very long. Uh , as you can see, she fell. As far as I understand, they are not going to pay dividends.
Uh, so this is one of them. The next one, uh, it's actually just a PS. Good. And so, this is a similar company, uh, it's only been around since April 29th. Uh, it's up 55%, or, uh, yes, 55% in the last year . Uh, they seem to be paying small dividends here. Quite an interesting thing, uh , since they're so new, not all of their reports are published yet, uh, but that will happen pretty soon, according to Bill.
So, uh, these are stocks that I've put some money into from my Roth IRA, these are long-term funds until or after my retirement . Uh, I might just buy one share of each of these companies just to keep an eye on Bill. Um, let's take the data from the beginning of the year. So, since the beginning of the year, Howard Hughes Holdings, this is a spin-off from another company, General Growth Properties.
These are stocks, these are assets that Howard Hughes originally controlled when he was alive, I think maybe through Suma Corporation. In any case, they fell pretty hard. Again, they do not pay dividends . But I think, and that's what he's trying to turn into Berkshire Hathaway. So, you know, invest some money in it, buy one stock or a few stocks .
I have some cash, you know. The rest of my Roth account is already in stocks. Just to keep an eye on Bill. I think in the long run Bill could become a really successful and well-known investor. That is, he is becoming quite famous, and in the past he has made a lot of money for his clients. So I would like to hear your thoughts on this .
Have you ever heard of any of this? Oh, there's one more thing I want to talk about. I might make a separate video, but I came across this company while doing research. This is the maximum , as of Friday it pays 7.38%. This is a fairly high figure. Now look, it's growing. The graph is very choppy, then it drops, up and down, up and down.
It's been trading between $8 and about $11 for almost its entire history, you know? Here are the years 2008, 2009, when everything was falling, then it returned to this trading range, started to grow, and then we have COVID. Up, then a fairly significant drop, now starting to rise. You know, I might buy some of this, it's only $10.57.
It could start falling as soon as I buy it, or it could go up a little more, 50 cents, and then fall. But you are fixing this dividend size, and I haven't looked at the payout history to understand whether they are stable. But this is something worth taking note of. So I would like to hear your thoughts on everything I've talked about and on Bill Ekman.
