Whether you're looking for growth, dividend, healthcare, or defensive stocks, there's something on this list for everyone. I'm going to share with you the nine best stocks according to my calculations, within the universe of stocks I cover, and I follow more than 150 companies. I'm going to share with you the nine best ones from those companies that I follow.
And by the way, I think investing in stocks is an excellent way to generate or create wealth in the long term. So let me share my list of the nine best stocks to buy and also my reasons why I think they are the best choices right now. And I'll share how my picks have performed so far in 2025. 2024 was a year of great results for my portfolio against the S&P 500.
I'm off to an excellent start in 2025. Hopefully, the rest of the year will bring more of the same. I'll share with you how great this year has been so far with my portfolio. to see the top 10 stocks to buy now. Okay, the first stock on my list of the best to buy right now in March 2025 is AMD, the AI company that struggles to compete with Nvidia in the data center AI market, but is growing rapidly in revenue and profit.
However, the market isn't enthusiastic about AMD's stock right now, and that allows investors to acquire it at a relatively cheap price. The current market price is $101 per share and my intrinsic value calculation places AMD at around $245. by action. And I'm going to share with you another valuation method that also indicates that AMD's stock is undervalued at current prices.
Look, AMD won't catch up to Nvidia this year. Probably not next year or the year after, but you don't need to . It only needs to be a good second place in this industry to generate great returns for long-term investors. The next stock is Alphabet, which is also having a rough start to 2025. Recall that Alphabet was rated my top stock to buy in 2024 and delivered solid results compared to the S&P 500.
Currently, Alphabet shares are trading at $170 per share. My calculation of intrinsic value places Alphabet at a value of $238. by action. The main reason Alphabet's stock is underperforming is because of how large language models are disrupting its Google search business. Even so, the company reported excellent results in its Google search segment in the most recent quarter , and AI summaries in its search results will deliver excellent returns for Alphabet and Google .
They are already getting a very strong response from consumers, who say they are using the service much more and participating in it much more . The next stock on my list of best stocks to buy is Nvidia. Nvidia is currently trading at a market price of $118 per share. My intrinsic value calculation estimates that Nvidia stock is worth $136 per share.
Nvidia has also had a slow start in 2025, as the market is more concerned about its prospects in 2027 than pleased with its current rates of growth in revenue and profits. Management said that demand for its next-generation technology is exhausted and profit margins are expected to return to growth in the second half of this year.
I liked what I heard from Nvidia and I think current market concerns about its prospects in 2027 and beyond are overblown; I believe their market dominance in artificial intelligence for data centers is just the beginning, and there will be several years of excellent spending in that category ahead.
The next stock on my list is Oracle. Oracle is currently trading at a market price of $165 per share. I have calculated my intrinsic value per share at $215. And I think Oracle is one of those covert AI stocks that doesn't get much attention, but the company's business is growing and booming. And the orders, uh, the order book that Oracle is receiving is growing by billions and billions.
This is one that I believe could be a stealth winner in 2025 and beyond. The next stock on my list is Amazon. Amazon's current market price is $29 per share. I have calculated the intrinsic value at $286 per share. And I think Amazon has done an excellent job developing economies of scale in the logistics business, in e-commerce, and of course, it has always done a great job in Amazon Web Services, the cloud business, which returned to growth or accelerated its growth in 2024 and continues that trend in 2025.
The higher-margin businesses, which include AWS and advertising, are growing faster than the lower-margin business, which is e-commerce. But the e-commerce business, by achieving economies of scale, is also expanding profit margins much faster than I thought it could 5 years ago. So I'm excited about Amazon's action and you can get it at a relatively cheap price right now .
Next on my list is Uber. Uber is currently trading at a market price of $76 per share. Although it has already risen almost 27 % so far this year, it is having a great start to 2025. I still think there is considerable upside potential . I have calculated the intrinsic value per share at $108 . I have conducted several scenario analyses on Uber's stock and , in almost every scenario I consider, Uber's stock appears to be undervalued.
DraftKings is the next stock I will mention here . The online sports betting , gambling, and daily fantasy sports company is growing due to increasing consumer demand for this product and the significant convenience it adds compared to previous ways people gambled, which were mainly on the black market and even in the gambling segment, which is not yet growing as much as the sports business.
It simply adds a lot of convenience for people who want to place a bet from time to time. And the business is doing very well. Current market price at $44 per share. Although it's already up 18%, I still think there's upside potential here in 2025. My intrinsic value per share puts it at $62 right now.
Next up is Pinterest . Pinterest. The current market price is $36.70. Although it has already risen more than 26% so far this year, I believe there is still upside potential in Pinterest, as my calculation of its intrinsic value places it at $70 per share. Pinterest is benefiting as people visit the site more frequently, increasing engagement, boosting average revenue per user, and growing in the highly lucrative North American social media market.
It's a difficult category to grow in because the market is already very saturated. And last but not least, Eli Lilly, which is already up 21% so far in 2025. I've had this stock on my list of top stocks to buy all year. Current market price is 933. My intrinsic value per share is calculated at 2,600.
However, with healthcare stocks, there is a wider distribution of intrinsic value per share due to the peculiarity of their business models. Therefore, I have run several scenarios with Eli Lilly, changing my estimates and assumptions to determine where I might be wrong and where the valuation might be different from what I have calculated.
And even in those scenarios , I have calculated that only one of them considers the stock to be worth less than the current market price. And that's a very unlikely scenario with a beta greater than one, which is rare for healthcare companies because they are not correlated with the overall market. Therefore, I see an opportunity with Eli Lilly and believe there is upside potential even after the stock has risen so much at the start of 2025.
So, I have shared with you my discounted cash flow valuations for these companies. But another way I analyze valuation is through the future price-benefit ratio. And even according to my future P/E ratio, those companies I've highlighted now, the nine best stocks, are relatively cheap. The most expensive is Eli Lilly with a forward price-to-earnings ratio of 32.
The rest are below 30. And you might be surprised to learn that Nvidia shares are trading at a forward P/E ratio of only 20. And then there are AMD and Alphabet shares, which are trading at forward P/E ratios of 16 and 16.78 respectively. So these stocks look cheap, regardless of whether I evaluate them using discounted cash flow or by looking at the future price-earnings ratio .
They look cheap. And that's partly why I've placed them on my list of the nine best stocks. Of course, I have dozens and dozens of videos about these companies. And if you're a channel member, you get access to many of these discounted cash flow valuation videos that I've made for so many of these companies.
You can view those videos, which are exclusive to members, if you join as a channel member. Now, let me share with you my portfolio's performance in 2025. This is the year-to-date return profile of the nine stocks I mentioned. So, you have Amazon down 4.64%, Nvidia down 12% , and I'm sharing the full list of returns with you for transparency, and I'm going to compare it to the S&P 500 index, which so far in 2025 has risen 1.26%.
So, here's my portfolio and each of the top nine stocks I mentioned earlier , and how they've performed so far in 2025, with Uber, Pinterest, Eli Lilly, and DraftKings all rising considerably so far. And the rest of them are down this year, including Nvidia, AMD, Alphabet, and Amazon. However, overall, my portfolio has performed excellently.
It has risen 5.43% so far in 2025 compared to the S&P 500 index, which has risen 1.26%. So my outperformance so far is almost four times that of the S&P 500. My overall outperformance is 417 basis points. That doesn't mean you should take my recommendations and go out and buy these shares without doing your own due diligence.
I'm only sharing this for transparency reasons. And I do this every month with my list of stocks that I recommend as the best to buy. Sometimes the portfolio will outperform the S&P 500. Sometimes it will underperform the S&P 500. Either way, that doesn't absolve you of the responsibility to do your own research before deciding to buy any of these stocks. So, there you have it. The nine best stocks to buy now , now on sal.
