Today we are going to talk about Warren Buffett's holistic investment approach, which most people are not aware of, and this strategy can easily give you extra returns of 2% to 8%. Now when we analyzed Warren Buffett's entire investment portfolio, we found out a very shocking thing. Suppose he has ₹100, out of ₹100, he is currently investing 37 in the stock market, and this amount sometimes goes up to ₹45.
Now why is this so and where is he investing that amount? Now when we talk about its detailed explanation in this video, you will also get to know another side of investment which can help you in getting extra returns. Hello, I am Prasad and welcome you to today's video. The purpose of today's video is Stable Money, where you can compare more than 200 FDS of India and can also book them in just 3 minutes.
We will talk about this later in the video. See, if we look at Mr. Warren Buffett's portfolio for 2021 and 2022, one thing we have understood is that currently 37% of his investment is not in the stock market, then where is it? Out of that, around 6.6% investment is in cash and cash equivalents, that is, hold the cash money, but the remaining 30% investment is in a very different place, about which most people have not heard.
Now, see, most people must be thinking that he has done this for diversification, but the complete answer is not in this. Now, talking in detail about this holistic approach, Sir, I want to ask you one question, tell me how many times has it happened to you that you have got a very big investment opportunity, it is very good, but you do not have the money to invest in it, because you have already invested your money in the stock market, so when these good opportunities are there or the market falls a lot, then after that, the shares which are available at a discount Most of the people are not able to grab the opportunities because they are not aware of the full extent of this holistic invention approach and this is the most important thing.
In today's video, we will talk in detail about the 30% investment, out of which 19% investment is in treasury bills. Now the question arises as to what is it, so this is a method of government securities. There are two types of government securities, one is bond and the other is treasury. If any government security is for less than one year, then it is called treasury bill and if any government security is for more than one year time period, then it is called bond.
Now see what is there in it, in treasury bill you get the opportunity, you can invest from 7 days to 3 months, 6 months to 1 year, short term investment can be done here and here you have other such classes like in short term, if we talk about savings account, whatever else is there, then from that You get butter returns, so the defaulters here are absolutely zero and on top of that, you have other instruments which are giving better returns than investment instruments and this is the beauty of treasury bills and because of this Warren Buffett and other big investors keep some of their money aside here.
It has two advantages, one is that you get butter items from other places. The second advantage is that because it is kept in the short term, whenever there is a butter opportunity in the market, that 20%, 19% of Mr. Perfect's money can be taken from there and invested in the stock market. The rest of those treasury bills are not a big fan of this investment class today, but in this holistic approach, these treasury bills help them a lot in giving butter returns in the stock market.
Now if we talk about India, then this class is not even talked about. Now, there is so much beauty in this asset class of treasury bill, so the question arises that why is it not talked about because investing here is not that easy in India, but today we will tell you this by making it a little easier.
Let us also tell you that the interstate transactions in India are comparatively quite high, so of course the benefits you will get in percentage terms will also be quite good. Look, there are different websites for investing in treasury bills. RBI has its own, RBI Retail Direct, NSC has its own, Govind, and the rest are different.
So comparatively, we found it a little easy. So here, what you simply have to do is Google Govind, sign up there, after verifying your PAN, enter the remaining details and after that, you will see your dashboard here. In the dashboard, you will see three things: Current and Forthcoming, that is, which treasury bills are currently open for trading, which treasuries are about to come, which will be visible to you in the Forthcoming type, and which ones are already closed.
Now, in this also, you will see two types of investments: Government Securities i.e. Bonds and the second is Treasury Bills. For example, if you click on Current here, you get all the government bonds whose maturity is It is happening in 2028, for some it is happening in 2033 and their inter-exchanges are also given, for some it is 7.06, for some it is 7.8%, so at present there is no treasury bill, but if we look at the past, then in September itself a treasury bill was also brought for 182 days, that is, for 6 months, one year has also come and three year bills also keep coming, so as soon as you see any treasury bill in the current, you can click on the bed book and book for it and invest some of your amount in it for the short term.
Now many times it happens that due to the complex process, people are not able to invest in treasury bills in Ease India, so they then look for different options, out of which a good option is FDI, if you buy it for short term or mid short term i.e. for two-three years, then a better option can be traditional FB, it is seen that it gives returns of five days after tax, but at present from 6 to 9% returns are also coming from HD.
Now I am telling you all this by comparing it with Stable Money, where you are getting returns of more than 6% and further there is also 8.5% here. Now see, many things happen that if you can do this in HD or with the bank, then there is insurance up to five lakhs, but after that you should also double check yourself.
I will tell you how to do that. If we look here, small finance banks are giving you 8% returns for one year, 8.5% returns for two years and if we talk about budget finance, then you are getting 7.4% returns there for one year and 7.5% returns for two years. Now when you are investing in HD, then always keep one more thing in mind that your principal amount should be safe, ginger, that will not be called investment.
So, I have seen many people investing in cooperative banks or other places for higher returns, so you should not do that. Now there is also just small finance bank, this These are also scheduled commercial banks, that is, like the other top banks of India. But one thing you will have to do your own analysis here is that if there is any bank, like here there is Utkarsh Small Finance Bank, here there is NBFC Shri Ram Finance.
You can go to scanner.in and see their financial details. You have to look at four-five basic things like consistent growth in revenue, consistent growth in profit, and the company's net interest margin is good. If their NPS is less than 3%, if their net HPI is at least 1.5%, then it is said that it is a good bank or NBFC.
Here, if we talk about Bajaj Finance or Utkarsh Mall Finance Bank, their financials are quite stable. Their net HPI is also less than 0.5% and the net interest margin is also good. If we talk about Shivalik First Small Finance Bank, it is not listed, hence we do not have much information on them. Information about all of them is available to you.
You can go with those whose financials seem stable to you. The mistake most people make is that they go to cooperative banks in pursuit of higher returns, while no one knows the inside story of their underlying financials. The good thing about Stable Money is that they have only good players with them.
You won't find cooperative banks or players whose own financials are not that strong here. Then, many times, when we close HD prematurely, many fines are levied by different banks, which you won't be charged here. After booking your first, you will also get an instant bonus of ₹250. Let me tell you another important thing about Stable Money: whenever you do HD, you do n't need to open an account with the bank.
All the money goes directly to the bank account and you also get confirmation from the bank. Here, Stable Money does n't require you to keep any money with you. Talking about Stable Money, its founder is Jio of Navi Mutual Fund. The company has recently been funded by major venture capitalists like Matrix Partners, Lightspeed, and Titan.
You'll also find the option of a one-year fixed-term bond, which offers excellent interest rates. You can easily select your preferred bond by studying and researching here. You'll find the link to its upvote below in the description and comment section. If you have any questions about this, you can ask us in the comments.
Along with treasury bills and other short-term investments, some of their money is also invested in fixed-maturity securities. These are similar to bonds. If we talk about bonds, bonds ranging from one year to 20-30 years and even more are available in India. If you're an active stock market investor, buying very long-term bonds may not make much sense.
What you can do here is choose mid-term bonds instead of very long-term bonds. You'll find government bonds on NSC Govid, but there are also many corporate bonds in India, and the image of corporate bonds is a bit bad because Many times defaults also happen here but let me tell you one interesting thing, like this is a PSU company, it is a public sector undertaking company, if you look at its ownership on the scanner, you will see that its promoter is 51 percent of the Tech President of India, it is a government company, so there are no defaults in it, so if we talk about Gil, it is triple rated because it is a BSE company, hence its rating is high, its coupon rate is 8.3%, also if we talk about Tata Capital Financial Services, its coupon rate is 9.86%, if we talk about Gil, it is financially strong, it has also earned a good profit, the company also gives a good dividend and it is also a government company, due to this its default means it is almost nil, Tata Capital is a Tata Group company, so you will have to take such a choice, now see here you will get corporate bonds of 13%, 13%, 14% and even more than that, but there is also increasing risk in it, so make other sense of it.
You can go into these kinds of things and corporate bonds, so you can find such opportunities. Now, you can invest in corporate bonds directly when they are being issued, and after their issue is over, these bonds become illiquid like shares, if you can invest in them. Now, what happens sometimes is that some bonds face liquidity problems after some time.
Some time ago, a bond of the Tata Group itself was showing a coupon rate of 17%. So, this kind of thing is often created in the market and you get better opportunities in the secondary market as well. So, you should study this too. If you want a detailed video on this, then definitely let me know by commenting below.
I will make a special and detailed video on corporate bonds so that you all get more detailed information about it and its selection and other things. Now, what is interesting in the bond market? Do you know that fluctuations here are very less. This is the bond index of the Sum Bank of India and Here you can see that even when the coronavirus hit in 2020, there has n't been much of a dip here, there hasn't been any dip at all.
If we look at the Nifty Senses, everyone knows what happened in 2020. In such a situation, it helps a lot in giving stability to your portfolio. So, in case of confusion, I would like to tell you that many of you might have made the mistake in the past that the opportunity is big or the stock is at a discount but there is no money.
If you follow this thing with discipline now, then you can easily avoid those things. Also, many times, what many of us do is keep the investment amount in the savings account and the money gets spent without even realizing it. If it doesn't happen here, you can invest it in treasure video or short term HD.
You can invest it in anything else, then that thing will happen. The money will not be spent, so you can easily invest the same amount later. See, saving is very important for investing and for saving This thing will come to you at a very low cost, I tell you, see, more than 90% of the people are not aware of this holistic investment approach and because of this, whenever the market offers discounts, they are not able to grab them.
So, like Mr. Perfect, let us also adopt a holistic investment approach and plan our investments in such a way that whenever opportunities come, we have money to harvest them. And yes, before leaving, do check out Stable Money as well. Compare FDS from there very easily and from there you can also invest within 3 minutes. See you in the next video. Do subscribe to the channel for such videos.
