Hello everyone, this is Kevin, and today we have news about another round of stimulus payments: additional $1,000 checks for some of us, $600 a week in unemployment benefits, allowances, and other financial updates. Today is June 11th and I am so grateful that you have joined me for this review. I want to warn you: I heard you all very clearly yesterday.
I promise, first I'll talk about incentive payments. Then let's talk about stocks, real estate, and tenants. Today I have a special message for those of you who are renters. So stay until the end of the video to learn about this and the news in the stock market. Now let's talk about incentives. First of all, let's talk about Nancy Pelosi.
Nancy Pelosi was just interviewed by Time magazine. The interview took place about 30 minutes ago , at approximately 1:30 PM Eastern Time. Nancy Pelosi is a Democrat who leads the House of Representatives. She was the one who got the Heroes Act passed, wasn't she? Which is not surprising at all. She leads the Democrats.
Democrats pushed through this 1,800- page bill, which extends unemployment benefits of $600, a $600 bonus, and would also give those who have already received a stimulus check another round of $1,200 payments, plus expanded eligibility for all dependents, who would receive $1,200 instead of $500, with a limit of three dependents per household, of course.
Many of us have been focused on what Republicans are doing in the Senate because technically the Senate and Republicans are in control right now . But Nancy Pelosi aptly poked them this morning, and there is some sense in her words . Listen to this. She says, " Look, at first the Republicans said 'no stimulus payments.'" Then they say, "Okay, maybe more incentives, but let's do PPP first, and that's it ." Now they're saying, "Okay, maybe a trillion dollars, but not before July." So she's actually making fun of Republicans.
She says, "Look, the longer Republicans delay, the more they realize that Democrats are right to demand more stimulus." And here's something else very interesting. It demands more direct stimulus payments for us, and think about that for a moment. We are so focused on the Republicans, but if they propose a stimulus package that does not include direct payments to individuals, which is what the Democrats are demanding, then the Republicans will not be able to pass their bill because they simply do not have the votes for it .
They can't pass their bill without Democrats. So, they need to get the Democrats on their side. This raises the question: Is that why Republicans don't mention direct stimulus payments? because it would deprive them of leverage over the Democrats. The less they talk about the possibility of us getting the next stimulus check , the more effectively Republicans can negotiate with Democrats.
I talk a lot about negotiations and finance courses, which are linked below because that's my job. I negotiate with people every day, so I find this very interesting. But let's continue to monitor what Nancy Pelosi says. This is worth paying attention to, because even though we are focused on Republicans, we can't do this without Democrats .
It requires not only additional direct payments. She made it clear—these are her words—that she also demands increased unemployment benefits, more money for food stamps, and says she cares deeply about money for people. And she also says, look, this is not something Republicans have ever done before.
So Republicans could do it again. They were willing to do this in the past. So they have to be ready now. And so Nancy Pelosi is using this, let's be realistic, as a political opportunity to say, "Hey, look, I'm here to help the American working class." And the reality is that it's true. She clearly states that she is here to help the American working class.
Because the bottom line is that the Federal Reserve is only making the rich richer by propping up the stock market right now. Which is also completely true. Although it is a little “red” today, the stock market has made many fortunes for many people who started investing in the last 90 days. By the way, if you want to take the first steps, get two completely free shares and join what the rich are doing by owning stocks ( only about 50% of Americans own stocks, and wealthier people are more likely to own stocks and real estate).
Then you can deposit $100 into the Weeble stock trading platform . Use the link below, deposit $100 and you will receive two free shares worth up to $1,400. It's kind of a lottery as to how much you'll get, but you deposit $100 and get up to $1,400. You should try it. So, speaking of the Fed, Robert Kaplan, president of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas, said that if you want to avoid actions that are counter-growth , you should focus on stimulating the economy.
It's obvious now. We hear time and time again the Federal Reserve emphasizing the theory that we need new stimulus for the economy. And Jerome Powell confirmed this with his truly gloomy forecast yesterday. Unemployment is not expected to fall below 9.3% by the end of the year, which is still a terrifyingly high rate.
Of course, yesterday I told you about how the Fed is keeping rates low and providing forward guidance. You know that a) they're not even thinking about raising rates and b ) they'll keep rates low until at least 2022. The Wall Street Journal predicts that at least until 2023. We'll see. But look, it's clear that the Fed and Congress need to do more.
In fact, the Wall Street Journal confirmed this morning that the Fed is preparing to hold down Treasury yields , which is just a fancy and complicated way of saying that the Fed is working to pump even more money into the economy, which again benefits the wealthier people who own stocks, not the American working class, who need more help.
The Fed is in a position where, when the Fed steps up— think about that for a moment. When the Fed speaks and is very gloomy, they say things are not going very well, to put it briefly. And stocks are retreating and falling. Guess what's happening? Donald Trump, Larry Kudlow and the people in the White House are starting to pay attention.
Republicans are starting to pay attention. When the stock market is doing great because the Fed is supporting it, Republicans seem less interested in discussing stimulus . So, in a strange way, we know that Jerome Powell wants more stimulus. So maybe he just needs to criticize the market more, cause stocks to fall more, express more concern about a second wave, and maybe that will get Republicans in the Senate and the White House to finally move on with more stimulus.
So, if that hasn't convinced you to get two free shares from Weeble, I don't know what will. But we'll talk about stocks in a moment. Here's something else the Wall Street Journal mentioned. The Wall Street Journal noted that the latest increase in pandemic unemployment benefits being considered by the White House is between $250 and $350.
This was made public today . This means that since we suspect that the Wall Street Journal has a source of information leaks in the White House, this publication is usually quite accurate in assessing such things. At least historically it has been that way. So I can only assume that this is what is being discussed right now.
So, if you are receiving unemployment benefits, I would expect your $600 benefit to likely drop to around $250-$350 in August. So stay tuned for updates. Now you're all set until the end of July. Additionally, economists now find that 85% of families have enough savings to cover three months of expenses.
This is shocking. 85% of us have enough money to cover three months of expenses. Is this true? Could you please leave a comment below? Let me know. While you're there, hit the like button and subscribe if you enjoy my content. But what is interesting is that before the CARES Act was passed, this figure was 42%.
So, before the first relief package, only 42% of Americans had enough money to cover three months of expenses. Now 85% of families have enough money and savings to cover three months of expenses, which means that all of you have at least some funds to consider buying stocks, which, remember, is what rich people do.
More on that in a moment. Let's talk about Larry Kudlow now, and then we'll move on to the White House. Oh, and by the way, I got another letter from the life insurance company, and they wanted to say a big thank you to all of you who signed up for life insurance. Remember, applying for life insurance only takes 5 minutes.
So great job to all of you who have taken care of your family's welfare planning. Link below. I repeat, applying for life insurance takes only 5 minutes. It is quite inexpensive. Both Lauren and I have it, and I was very surprised by the value of the million dollar policy. I was amazed at how cheap it was.
And I just paid for it through Apple Pay, which was very convenient. Payment simply happens automatically via Apple Pay. Okay, Larry Kudlow. Guess what Larry Kudlow said about Jerome Powell. First, remember what I said about Jerome Powell? Jerome Powell makes pessimistic predictions, crashes the stock market, wakes up Donald Trump and Larry Kudlow , right?
I'll prove it here because Larry Kudlow said this morning, quote, "I really think Jerome Powell could get a little more optimistic." you know, express a little optimism, smile here and there, but you know what? We will conduct media training with him later. Larry Kudlow literally said, " Jerome Powell needs to radiate a little more hope." But meanwhile Jerome Paul is literally standing on a pedestal with a goddamn printing press for money and is like, "How much more hope can you give when you're literally printing money?" Unless Jerome Paul understands that his money-printing actions, which as we all know are really just changing a number on a spreadsheet, only benefit wealthy people.
Listen, I understand everything. I once worked for minimum wage. I was once a tenant. I realized when I started owning assets that America owns you if you don't have stocks, businesses, real estate, or a combination of them. Jerome Paul knows this. He's an economist and has a staff of, I think, over 1,400 economists who know that in America, poor people get ripped off if they don't have assets.
And you know what? Jerome Paul can't change that. Only the White House and Congress can do this. Now Larry Kudlow continues to say that their 7-day average of coronavirus cases has not changed, maybe increased a little. They don't look at it day in and day out. So, Larry Kudlow says this whole second wave thing is probably just a result of more testing.
And yes, the number of hospitalizations has increased, but now scheduled surgeries are being performed . So, of course, there were more hospitalizations. And he talks about hip replacements, maybe it's Larry Kudlow being honest with us and saying, " Look, the 7-day average hasn't changed ." Or he gives us the hope that, according to him , Jerome Paul should have given us with a smile.
When the economy really needs more help. You all know me. I'm not trying to take anyone's side, Democrats or Republicans. Some of you are asking, " Hey Kevin, why do you seem to be talking more about Republicans lately?" Well, because now it's their turn, right? When we were talking about the Heroes Act.
We talked about Democrats all day. Now it's the Republicans' turn . We haven't decided everything yet , Larry Kudlow continues, but he says the markets are pointing up. We are at an upward tipping point. We are changing in a positive way. And that's good. And Larry Kudlow was asked directly this morning by a Fox News host: what about the money in people's pockets?
Literally asked directly with this quote. And when I heard that, I was like, “Thank you . Finally someone had the courage to ask this guy straight to the point. "What about the money in people's pockets?" But remember what I said earlier about negotiations and the negotiating position. Republicans don't necessarily want to talk about it right now.
It seems to be because of their ability to negotiate with Democrats. They need Democrats. So maybe to get their stuff done, like liability protection or payroll tax holidays, they'll give stimulus payments to Democrats, and they don't want to give it away too soon. These are the basics of negotiations.
Know what your opponent wants, and then make it difficult for him to get it. Now, in answer to the question: "What about the money in people's pockets?" He said, "That's what I mean." Uh, I mean we, you know, we're dealing with all of this . Okay. We will develop a package to promote growth, and so on, blah blah blah .
We'll continue to cut taxes, deregulate, and we'll focus on jobs and growth, and so on . So, what was that first phrase he said? He said, "That's what I mean." And then he continued to talk about things we've heard from the White House before. But it's really interesting that he said that and then covered it up, well, you know, like payroll tax holidays and stuff like that .
This is worth keeping in mind. Everything is starting to become clearer. Again , it was mysterious, but a good sign nonetheless. I sincerely believe that there are political reasons for this. I think I hit the mark on this issue. Let me know what you think about it. And remember, you want to learn this type of negotiation and psychology so you can make money.
Join a real estate investing course or a personal finance and money course where I can teach you about stocks. We have a real estate and stock program. Just use the coupon code below and you will receive a small kit that will appear after payment. Now let me show you how Jerome Powell can really get on Donald Trump's nerves. Take a look at this right here. This is Donald Trump's tweet this morning. The Federal Reserve gets it wrong so often. I see these numbers too and understand them much better than they do.
We're going to have a very good third quarter, a great fourth quarter, and one of the best years ever in 2021. Soon we will also have a vaccine and therapeutics/ medicines. This is my opinion. Look. So this is another sign that Donald Trump and the White House are annoyed by the stock market crash today.
And this is Donald Trump's way of saying, "Hey, you know, Powell, man, why did you come out and make everything so gloomy? Now stocks are down and people are angry." In fact , when Larry Kudlow was doing an interview this morning, guess how he started it? He began by saying, "You know, I wish I could be here on a better day.
The stock market is down." Seriously, Larry Kudlow? You define your day by the stock market being red. In fact, I do the exact opposite. Last week I told you, "Hey, the stock market is so high I can't buy anything else . I'm just going to pay off my debts now." Now the market is really in the red zone, and I went on a shopping spree.
Which we'll talk about in more detail in a moment. But let's talk about tenants and Steven Mnuchin. Some of you may have already heard that Steven Mnuchin hinted at serious consideration of a new stimulus package, which another financial YouTuber already made an entire video about. Okay, big deal. We already knew that.
It doesn't matter much, except that it's a change of pace, because Steven Mnuchin has always been a wait-and- see kind of guy. He heads the Ministry of Finance. Okay, let's leave it alone. We don't need to talk about this anymore. We have better information to discuss. But for now, let's focus on the fact that if you are a renter, I want to ask you something.
How have you benefited as a tenant from the CARES Act? Specifically, no evictions, right? But what happens when the eviction ban ends? If you didn't pay the rent, you'll have to pay that money back, right? But will you be able to pay them off for 30 years, or will you face eviction if you don't catch up on your debts and effectively become hostage to whatever payment plan your landlord sets up ?
The reality is that you owe money, and no government is going to come to the rescue and say, "Don't worry, just pay it off in 30 years." Think about that for a moment. This once again confirms how our country works. If you are a tenant, you get practically nothing. You are being " thrown" again. If you are a homeowner, you can defer debt payments for up to 30 years.
If you are a homeowner, you are being saved from bankruptcy. Renters, you are just a byproduct of home and business ownership in America. Again, the same goes for business owners versus employees. If you are a business owner, you receive money that you do n't have to pay back. If you are a salaried employee, you get nothing.
In such cases, you are simply "thrown away." I probably shouldn't say you get nothing. You get the "privilege" of possibly returning to your job. Look, I don't want to sound like such a cynic, but I think it's because of frustration with how this country treats poor people. This is unfair. That's why I make these videos and try to include as much financial wisdom as possible about negotiations, psychology, and what you could do with your money.
Of course, the hashtag is for entertainment purposes only. I am not a financial advisor here. You should always consult your own financial advisor. But in America, it is impossible to achieve success through savings alone. The system is not working in your favor. If you are a renter or a poor person, America tends to leave you poor.
And so, even if you think stocks are a scam and the market is rigged, I encourage you to subscribe to the channel and learn more about money, finance, and investing, even a little bit, through videos like these. You can also come to my live broadcasts every morning, watch me talk about the market in more detail live, and ask my opinion on your ideas or solutions.
And take this as advice. I'm just a guy on the internet who's willing to share his opinion. But if you're interested in it because you like what I'm saying, this is an option for you. Link below. I go live every day at 9:00 AM when the market opens. Now, if you are a property owner, rates have just dropped again and I advise you to consider refinancing sooner rather than later.
I wouldn't try to guess the moment when rates will drop even further. I would apply and do it. Now let's talk about EIDL—the Emergency Disaster Loan . Applications for the disaster grant will likely reopen next week. Stay with us. It's not guaranteed yet, but if these applications reopen, remember this is your chance to get a free $1,000 stimulus check as a bonus if you have a business or part-time job.
Some people said, "Kevin, this is not a stimulus check," but actually, if you get $1,000 for each employee, and you're your own employee, if you have a side job, that's a stimulus check. And only people who have a part-time job or a business are eligible for it, just as only people with a certain income level were eligible for the $ 1,200 stimulus check .
So, I think you should keep an eye on this next possible opening of the disaster grant program next week. That would be a free $1,000 if you have a part -time job or business. And this is almost self-certification without any unnecessary questions. I personally, again , call it a $1,000 stimulus check.
So stay with us. You can subscribe to the channel, and if you see an update about this in the title, know that's exactly what I mean . Now let's talk about stocks. Look, today is a huge red day in the stock market, and a lot of people are messaging me, saying, "Oh, congratulations, Kevin. Tesla is up.
Oh, but unfortunately, your Dave and Buster's stock is down. You're a loser because you invested in a company that lost money when the whole market went down ." Well, these people usually don't remember that I invest in companies like Dave and Busters with a 3-4 year planning horizon. But in the meantime, I actually love days like this.
When I see red, it screams at me, "Kevin, you're 28. Go shopping because you just got a big coupon in the mail that lets you buy Carnival, AMC, Dave and Busters, Simon Property Group, airlines, Uber, Cheesecake Factory, Wind Hotels, Starbucks—all at 8 to 15% off." Damn it, do you want something safer?
Here's JP Morgan Chase and Disney . And if you want to see some of my favorite stocks, oh my god , even Redfin is down almost 6% today. If you want to see my favorite stocks, be sure to visit metakevin.com/stocks610. It's stocks and then the number 610. metakevin.com/stocks610. And you will be able to see my favorite stocks and their holdings in the portfolio.
So you can see what I would do if I were buying stocks today. I bought shares this morning. I talk about this all the time in my Discord channel. But now is the time to think about buying shares, because there are great discounts on the market, and I highly recommend you join the investor community .
