01. Thanks for stopping by, everyone. My name is Jeff, and Tesla is getting back to the point where it's undeniably a buy once again. A year ago, Tesla was trading at $327 a share, and now, one year later, it's trading at $284. It's lost 12% of its value. Of course, guys, one thing I want you all to have a really firm understanding of is that the automotive industry is a very, very difficult sector to play in the stock market. We'll get into that in just a moment, but the purpose of this video is to forecast where I think Tesla will be trading one year from today. I've done a couple of videos like this and have gotten really good responses, so I appreciate everybody and all the participation we've been getting lately. Go down to the comment section and tell me at what price you think Tesla will be trading on March 10th, 2020. I am very bullish on Tesla, and as always, I'll have my one-year prediction pinned in the comment section, and it'll be the first comment you come to. If you're new to the channel, make sure to hit that subscribe button and the bell for all notifications, and please drop a like on this video. That really helps me out, and I appreciate all the support we get.

02. So what I've got pulled up here, guys, are the five-year charts for Tesla, GM, Ford, Toyota, and Honda Motors. Tesla is the blue line, General Motors is red, Ford is light blue, Toyota is white, and Honda is orange. The reason I wanted to pull this up is simply to illustrate that auto manufacturing doesn't have the growth, even in a very bullish market, that a tech company, a cloud computing company, or even a consumer products or consumer staples company would have. And it's not really even close. On a five-year scale, Tesla is up 123% compared to, say, GM, which has lost 2% of its value over the past five years. Ford is by far the worst; it's lost 50% of its value. Toyota is barely up over five years, around 13%, and Honda Motors is also down about 36%. So before the naysayers and the bears come out and start attacking the Tesla longs, just keep in mind that Tesla is by far the best-performing automotive stock, the most disruptive force, and clearly the future of electric cars here in the United States. As a matter of fact, a lot of these companies, especially Ford and Honda, have become some of the most reliable short sales out there. I'd even go as far as saying a lot of people get talked into buying Ford stock because it pays such a good dividend, but if a stock has lost over 50% of its value, that 5% yearly dividend isn't doing you very much good. The company with the biggest market cap is Toyota, which actually has a bigger market cap than Tesla, GM, and Ford combined, and Toyota has only increased 133% over the past five years. I hope this quick graphic helps illustrate how difficult it is to trade stocks in the automotive industry, unless you're a short seller. If you short Tesla stock quite a bit, you can take something like this and run with it. But I think it really speaks to some level of uncertainty.

03. Elon Musk told CNBC back in February that he does not expect Tesla to be profitable in Quarter 1, based on his expectations for one-time charges and other financial commitments. He also stated that he does expect the company to be profitable in Quarter 2, although once again, investors can't be quite sure what is conjecture and what is guidance. When I read a statement like that, I can walk away from it feeling as uncertain as I did before I ever read it. So the only thing I'm really going to base my decisions on is what I hear in the earnings report. Tesla is a very new and sensitive company, but keep in mind that Tesla shorts will take news like this and run with it forever.

04. Back on Friday, Citron Research came out and sees Tesla rebounding, setting a $320 price target. Andrew Left is notable as a Tesla short seller, but then he had a change of heart and became a long on Tesla. He's actually suing Elon Musk over the funding-secured $420 price target tweet Musk made last year. Right up here, you can see that the low-end price targets on Tesla drop as low as $192, and the higher-end price targets are roughly $500, with the average coming to about $330. That's also why I think that at this $280 range, you could see Tesla stock drop a bit more. It might revisit the 260s, and it might even revisit $250 a share. But I do consider Tesla a very good buy here at these levels, whether you want to take it as a long-term investment or just make a swing trade. It will usually get the price movement in a short amount of time. Right back here in October, Tesla did trade down to the 250s, and by the middle of December it recovered all the way to the $376 mark. So you can really play Tesla any way you want. You can buy these big dips and add to your long-term position, or you can play call options and make a very profitable swing trade if you're patient. This stock sees a lot of volatility. But anyway, guys, I'm going to go down to the comment section and tell you where I think Tesla will be trading in one year. I really look forward to hearing what each and every one of you has to say about this. Thank you so much for watching, and have a great day.
