01. Hello everyone, Invesco, the company that handles Triple Q, has released a number of new EDFs. SBI Securities has published an article about the addition of new ETFs from Invest Asset Management. In this video, I'd like to introduce what has been added. In this video, I'll introduce new ETFs related to the Nasdaq and S&P 500, which you all love, but let's start with the Nasdaq.

02. Imagine this is a picture of the entire Nasdaq. The first ETF I'll introduce is Triple QM, an ETF that invests in the top companies of the entire Nasdaq. Specifically, it invests in 100 companies. Some of you may be wondering, "Then what's the difference from Triple Q?" But actually, the investment range is the same as Triple Q.

03. So let's take a look at the differences in detail. Both ETFs are handled by Invesco. Invesco Triple 9TRUSTETF, on the other hand, Triple QM is called Invesco Nasdaq 100ETF. Triple Q started being handled in 1999, while Triple 9M started being handled in 1999. This ETF was released in October 2020, so it's a relatively recent addition.

04. SBI recently started handling it. There are, of course, differences between the two. The biggest difference is the trading volume. Compared to Triple Q, it's about 1 /50th, which is quite small. And then there's the expense ratio, which is what everyone is concerned about. Triple Q has a high expense ratio of 0.2%, but Triple QM has a 25% discount at 0.15%.

05. In terms of assets under management, Triple Q has $ 196 billion compared to Triple QM's $12 billion, which is about 1/10th, but it's still a sufficiently large ETF. What's noteworthy is the trading price. Triple Q is currently trading at $363, so you'll need about 50,000 yen to buy it, but on the other hand, you can buy Triple QM for roughly 20,000 yen.

06. So it's a pretty good product for people who want to invest in ETFs on a regular basis. Of course, the returns are pretty much the same because they track the same index. So, this newly introduced Triple QM... QM is an ETF with a low expense ratio and a low market trading price. However, because of its small trading volume and market capitalization, it is not suitable for institutional investors to invest in all at once, but it is a perfect product for individual investors who want to invest in small amounts with limited assets.

07. In this way, Triple 9 and Triple QM are not the only ETFs that track the same index but can be bought cheaply. There is also SPY from State Street, and although it is not a low-cost version, there is an ETF called SPLG. SPLG is also part of the SPY series offered by State Street, and has been around since 2005.

08. It has assets under management of 18 billion and an expense ratio of 0.03%, which is about the same as Voo. The market price is $51, which is cheaper than Voo, so if you are going to invest in the S&P 500 with an ETF, this is actually a very good recommendation. Please check out this ETF as well. Now, next up is the one that is below the Nasdaq 100.

09. Let's look at the stocks and the ETFs that invest in them. This is the Triple Cube J ETF. And there is another one, a product offered by Diver Asset Management called the Nasdaq Next Generation 50. It has a cool design, as it brings together candidates for the next generation of stars. In terms of sectors, it mainly focuses on information technology, but also includes healthcare and general consumer bonds.

10. These two ETFs cover Nasdaq stocks from number 101 to 150, and the Nasdaq Next Generation 50 ETF is the Triple Cube N ETF. SBI does not currently handle this one. It is called the Victory Shares Stack NEXT50 ETF. And now, SBI will start handling the Triple Cube J Invesco Nasdaq Next Generation 100 ETF, which invests in Nasdaq stocks from number 101 to 200.

11. These are the two ETFs. So the range of investment targets is 50 stocks larger, but in terms of overlap rate, considering the weights, there is about 63% overlap. However, the Triple Cube J is A characteristic of this ETF is that the proportion of healthcare, capital goods, and energy sectors increases by a few percent each.

12. When you hear "Triple Q," you probably get a sense of the stocks at the top, like Apple and Microsoft, but I think that when you go below 100, the stocks don't really ring a bell. The top stocks of Triple 9J are like this: ON Semiconductor, a semiconductor company, and The Trade Desk, the European subsidiary of Coca-Cola, and MongoDB.

13. You might have heard of these around the growth stock boom of 2000. I think I've introduced these stocks quite a bit too. By the way, to quickly see the top constituent stocks of this ETF, I often use Suikin Alpha, but that's a paid site, so if you want to see it for free, I often recommend the Move Securities app, which is quite user-friendly, so please check it out.

14. Now, let's briefly compare Triple QJ and Triple QN, which exist below Triple Q. Invesco and Victory Capital are the main components of each. The settings for which we are currently operating are from October 2020 and September 2020, so both are quite recent. In terms of expense ratios, both are cheaper than Triple Queue at 0.15% and 0.18%.

15. In terms of assets under management, they are still quite small, not yet reaching $1 billion, so as ETF assets, they are not yet sufficient. And in terms of year-to-date returns, Triple Queue has a return of 36%, while J and N are below 10%, which gives some people an idea of how amazing GAFAM was in 2023.

16. In terms of yield, there are some dividends being paid, at around 0.77% and 0.88%. And the number of underlying stocks is around 50 out of 100. Let's look at the return of Triple 9J, which can be purchased at SBI Securities. It has only been a short time since we started operating, but the blue line is Triple 9J, which will be available at SBI.

17. Looking at the results, the orange Triple Queue has a bit more volatility. It feels like there's almost no difference between Triple 9J and Triple QA. It might be interesting to invest in an ETF that incorporates stocks likely to be included in the next Nasdaq 100, but it's rare for these small and mid-cap stocks to outperform the top-ranking stocks by market capitalization.

18. Therefore, I don't think it's suitable as the main component of a portfolio. The third is Triple QS, the Invesco Nasdaq Patent Innovators ETF. The "innovator" in the name suggests a growth- oriented approach. With all these 999s, it can get confusing, so let's clarify things. This is the overall Nasdaq structure, and the top 100 companies are Triple QM and Triple Q, with Triple QM being cheaper.

19. Below that is Triple QN, which includes stocks 101 through 150. Triple 9J is 100... You can invest in stocks from number 1 to 200. And now, Triple QS has been introduced. It is an ETF that invests in 200 stocks, excluding these 200 stocks, that are particularly highly patented and have unique characteristics.

20. I looked at the top constituent stocks, and to be honest, I didn't know any of them. I realized that I still have a lot to learn, but I don't think you'll be buying these individually, so I don't think you need to go out of your way to study them. So, let's compare each of the ETFs that have become available on SBI.

21. This Triple 9s was just created recently, it hasn't even been a year yet. The expense ratio is a bit high at 0.2%, and the assets under management are 6 million, so it's an ETF that could easily be blown away by a gust of wind, and could see its price rise sharply depending on the competition. The stock price movement looks like this, and for now, the volatility seems to be quite high.

22. It seems that the small amount of assets under management is having an effect. However, in terms of taxes, it's still early days in operation. So, there were no analyst ratings attached. Now, as the overall Nasdaq sentiment improves, it might even yield better returns than the Nasdaq 100, but I think it's a bit dangerous to jump in too easily.

23. These were the three ETFs that Invesco has released this time. And this time, there is one more main attraction, which is this S&P 500 ETF. When it comes to S&P 500 ETFs, I think it's pretty much all there is to Voo and SPYIV, but the one that has just been released is the RSP Invesco S&P 500 E-weighted ETF, which is an equally weighted ETF.

24. Voo and SPYIV are market capitalization-weighted averages, with a large weight on Apple, and the weight decreases as you go down the list. On the other hand, RSP is an ETF that has equal weight on all 500 stocks. I've been wondering for a while if this would ever be released, and I've been checking overseas sites a lot, so I'm glad it's finally here.

25. So let's take a look at what it is. The fund manager is Invesco. The fund itself is actually very old, dating back to 2003. I think it used to be under the name of a different fund manager, not Invesco. The expense ratio is quite high. The assets under management are $35 billion, which is monstrously large compared to Voo, but it is a relatively large ETF, so I think it is a product that is well-received by some overseas investors.

26. Now, in terms of yield, compared to Voo, the weight of tech stocks is smaller, so the yield is relatively lower. The dividend growth rate is 10%, which is quite good. However, the year-to-date stock price is up about 4.5%, so it seems that the reduced power of gafam is backfiring. In terms of 5-year stock price, Voo is at 57% while RSP is at 41%, so it is quite underperforming.

27. And in terms of the weight of the top 10 stocks, Voo is at 27% while RSP is at 2.87%, so It's like an equal weighting system. Let's look at the sector weights. Below is the market capitalization-weighted average of the S&P 500, and the IT sector in the pink area is quite large, but in RSP it's quite small, and conversely the proportion of capital materials in the light blue area is quite large.

28. If we take the difference between these, it looks like this, with the sectors that are more prevalent in Voo on the right and the sectors that are more prevalent in RSP (equally weighted) on the left. As you can see, in V, the IT sector and telecommunications are more prevalent, but by using equal weighting, the weight of capital materials, REITs, utilities, and other companies that are strong defensively or have been around for a long time becomes quite high.

29. And what are the top holdings of RSP right now? Surprisingly, the number one is NVIDIA, the second is Carnival, and then Metaplatforms Advanced Microdevices. What this means is that the weight of stocks that have had good earnings since the rebalancing has increased slightly, although I think the difference with the lower-ranking stocks is probably almost negligible.

30. So I think you don't need to worry about it too much. According to overseas sites, it is being evaluated as being inferior to Voo in terms of momentum, but in return, its dividends are being evaluated a little better. If you graph the total return again, it looks like this, and it is being talked about a lot here.

31. Therefore, there may not be many people who insist on this ETF, but I think GAFAM is already obsolete. However, for people who like the rule of including stocks in the S&P 500, it may be a stock that is in demand. It may be an ETF that performs well during the winter of the high-tech sector. Also, there is one more ETF that has been added this time, which is Invesco's solar-related theme ETF.

32. There is nothing particularly noteworthy to say about it, so I will skip over it. If you are interested, please check out the SBI Securities page. Finally, a little advertisement. The MuuMuu Securities app that I always introduce allows you to quickly see the top constituent stocks of ETFs like this one.

33. I often share information with you all on a paid service called α on Wednesdays and Fridays. I'm using a website, but for those who want to see it for free, this is a very easy way to do so and I recommend it. Of course, when buying an ETF, there is also information on how it is currently being evaluated in the market, whether there is buying pressure or selling pressure.

34. It's a new ETF that has appeared in Japan, but how is it being evaluated overseas? Let's make sure to check these things before buying. As you can see, there is an active trading trend, and recently this RSP has a red bar at the top, so I think a lot of money is flowing in. If you'd like, please download the app from the QR code or the description box.

35. Now, I've introduced several ETFs in a quick overview, but SBI Securities has started handling new ETFs. The names are quite similar, so let me clarify one of them. This is Triple QM, which is the low-cost and low-priced version of Triple Cube. It is a recommended ETF for people who can only invest up to 30,000 yen per month or who want to keep costs down as much as possible.

36. The second is Triple Cube J, which is the next Triple Cube from the 101st to the 200th Nasdaq. The stocks that are likely to be included are all crowded together in this rookie ETF. The third one is Triple Q S, which is one step lower, and is made up of companies from the Nasdaq 200. These are companies with high patent value, so I think they probably have very unique business models and few competitors.

37. It's still difficult to make them the main focus of a portfolio, but I think it's an interesting ETF to hold as a satellite. Finally, there's RSP, which is an equally weighted ETF of the S&P 500, but the weight of firms and the like are reduced, and the weight of S&P 500 buying stocks is slightly higher.

38. In terms of sectors, capital materials and real estate utilities have a higher proportion, so I think it will probably perform better than Voo in bull markets. I've been thinking a lot lately that the gap between the products that can be handled overseas and in Japan is gradually narrowing. I will continue to post breaking news in videos whenever various ETFs are added, so if you like, please subscribe to the channel, comment, and like. Thank you for watching until the end.
