XRP is about to make so many millionaires. The crypto market has been horrible for the past 3 to four months. Liberation day, trade war, actual war, crypto exchange, cyber hacks, you name it. All of these crisis events happen in the past 3 to four months. And during all that time, the price of XRP has remained very very stable, which is really really big news especially if stability compared to other altcoins being Ethereum, being Suie, SE, you name it.
XRP has done very very well important because of institutional sentiment and adoption will be much bigger because XRP is perceived as a safer asset. Now the same of course can be said regarding Bitcoin which is now floating the all-time highs teasing for another breakout very very soon and it's important because of what Arc Invest CEO Kathy Wood just recently stated which shocked all crypto and XRP holders.
She confirmed that we are still in a bull market for Bitcoin which means therefore crypto and therefore XRP. So with Wall Street still showcasing bullish sentiment for this asset class, for this market, there's only one direction we can go from here, which is up. But now Bitcoin has turned and moving back. I know it's threatening uh new highs. It's been very interesting to watch Bitcoin during this period. Um it has it has been acting not as much as gold has but it's been acting like a risk uh off asset you know uh more people are willing to hold it and gold uh especially during the market tremor um I know we ended up in a bare market by some metrics uh during uh or right after so-called liberation day, early April.
Um, but Bitcoin has maintained its uptrend relative to gold did not break. Uh, and uh, I think that's a very very positive thing. Um, even during the uh, Iran or the the bombing of the Iran nuclear facilities, uh, Bitcoin really held its own. So, um I think uh I think it's uh it's still in the bull market as uh as our onchain analytics led by David Puel uh suggest uh that we are still in a bull market for Bitcoin.
Now, there were a couple of interesting things Kathy was stated here. She stated that around Trump liberation day, so around April 2nd or so around here, we actually formed a bare market of sorts. We entered a former bare market which is insane stuff. We saw Bitcoin correct roughly 30% in value from its all-time highs in January and now we are back and still in a bull market for Bitcoin and therefore for crypto once again therefore for XRP once again.
But now think about it armed with this knowledge that we are back in a bull market after entering a bare market. I could we could raise the question that if we did enter a form of bare market according to Wall Street metrics but we're already back in a bull cycle bull market is that some form of proof that the cycle is fundamentally different and therefore the typical 4year cycle that we see every single well four years that is coming to an end like institutions have been saying it would for months now that we ended the four years cycle we're now going towards an actual utility cycle that we just had a mini bare market and now we're going to see a much longer A bull market pump is an interesting question to have and that leads me on to my second interesting point Kathy was stated here as well.
She highlighted that Bitcoin held strong during the market tremors that it have maintained its uptrend relative to gold and it did not break which is extremely important. Bitcoin is still showcasing strength and therefore it will see so much more adoption and sentiment from institutions. The price will appreciate relative to gold in the coming weeks and months and years ahead.
That's interesting because that would also mean crypto will follow in suit following Bitcoin like it has always done but also how much more interesting it is for XRP because how XRP behaved during this time as well was similar in some regards. The crypto market has matured massively. We got crypto legislative frameworks coming out weeks away now.
And during this time, Ripple and XRP remained stable in value compared to other altcoins. And again, quite similar to Bitcoin remain very stable while Ripple and XRP were forming more massive strategic partnerships and even XRP treasuries have been formed as well. Speaking of which, in one recent massive announcement, Ripple confirmed that in one of Latin America's largest tokenization efforts to date, Micardo Bitcoin is bringing over $200 million in real world asset onchain to the XRP ledger, including fixed income and equity income instruments, which is huge news for the necessary tokenization tools that will increase institutional sentiment, adoption, and use case on the XRP ledger, therefore increasing demand of XRP and price of XRP.
The assets will connect to a network trusted by more than 70 central banks and financial institutions. So again, Tradfi injecting itself into XRP ledger, which is huge news. But that's not all. Furthermore, DBS Bank, Southeast Asia's largest bank, has just valued Ripple at 11.4 11.3 billion ahead of a potential 2026 IPO.
Ripple going public next year. So big banks are definitely taking Ripple and therefore XRP more and more seriously and you can bet your top dollar bet or your XRP if you want to that Walshi will be next to follow in suit surrounding all of these bullish Ripple and XRP announcements and again those market tremors we saw earlier on and now how it's changing with legislative frameworks of crypto coming out again weeks away.
Think about it once more. Ripple and XRP and Bitcoin, these two assets have been the two most stable and strongest assets in this space show the best strength. The big difference is one is being used as a store of value and nothing more. Whereas the other XRP is being perceived as reshaping the financial system.
Another one of Ripple's recent partnerships is with Wormhole, which puts Ripple and XRP in direct connection with BlackRock, the 11.5 trillion asset manager. And we can hear in this interview with Wormhole co-founder and Ripple's Jack McDonald that what it was that brought the two enterprises together and what they will achieve and unlock together.
Big stuff here. So listen very closely once more. Everyone everyone's very familiar with Ripple and the success around Ripple and obviously the XRP XRPL ecosystem. Um but now it's kind of getting to this critical point and we were talking earlier about kind of this uh XRPL or or Ripple ecosystem renaissance, right?
You have this this blockchain ecosystem. terms of the EVM side chain. Now you have XRPPL and it's largely been separated from the rest of crypto, right? We're we're probably all familiar with active chains like Salana, Ethereum, Sooie, etc. And there hasn't been any connectivity to date. Um, and I think what's exciting about now is, you know, Ripple has been around for so long.
Now is really that time where Ripple's going to be connected to these other blockchains. Um, so you're going to start to see activity flowing between EVM side chain, XRPL, um, and all these other blockchains that we, you know, probably know and use today. Um and so that I think that in and of itself uh for XRPL and for Ripple the ecosystem is exciting and for us as well.
Um and and when we were kind of working on this um one thing that's really really important is the the Ripple ecosystem XRPL is is obviously wellknown and so it's important to make sure that the connectivity to these blockchains is super secure. And so with Worhal we focus a lot on security in particular work with a lot of institutions and are going to bring that kind of same focus to uh what we're doing today.
And I would also just add that both you know within the XRPL ecosystem there's a a desire to be multi-chain. We follow utility. We look at what our customers are looking to do and where they want to go. And so there's a I think a native desire uh to expand the optionality for our customers or I should say for the for the XRPL ecosystem, users, builders, etc.
Within Ripple where I sit, uh we also see the benefits of a multi-chain world and even specifically within RLUSD, the stable coin. While we've launched on both uh the XRP ledger and Ethereum natively to start, we're 6 months old. uh we do view the opportunities set expanding in the years ahead and looking for partners to do that with.
We're not going to do everything on our own and when you think about uh interoperability platforms like wormhole, we think that there's a lots of opportunities to help bridge that divide uh bring us to other chains and doing that in a very secure and compliant and efficient way. And so we're really excited about where uh this this partnership that we announced today can take the business uh in the years ahead.
The takeaway from this for you to understand is the adoption of the XRP ledger, especially through institutions, is accelerating faster and faster and faster. And if Bitcoin is still in a bull market, then so is crypto. Then of course, so is XRP. And with the level of institutional capital that is coming to XRP with a 11 billion IPO on the horizon, XRP holders are about to become millionaires likely seeing bigger increase in adoption and demand than Bitcoin due to Ripple and XRP's increasing institutional use case and XRP being utilized as a liquidity bridge asset.
