since then in the past eight years it's made 140 successful launches and landings the Falcon 9 has revolutionized the space launch industry reducing our cost of launches by up to three times cheaper compared to competitors there's also increased Humanities launch Cadence in 2022 SpaceX has a falcon 9 launch Cadence of one launch every 6 days in 2023 SpaceX aims to double that with one launch every three days it is also the only us-based craft certified for manned missions to the International Space Station likewise Teslas revolutionized the automotive industry it has changed public perceptions of electric vehicles and made them mainstream the model 3 Model y among the top 5 best-selling vehicles of all types not just EVS in many countries Tesla is one of the fastest growing car companies in the world and has the highest profitability on on top of that they built the safest vehicles and have the highest customer satisfaction Tesla vehicles are also among the most American made with local production in Fremont Factory and Austin and local Supply chains SpaceX could ride on the success of the Falcon 9 for decades and Tesla could do the same with all its current cars but the story doesn't end here both have bigger dreams dreams will take a lot of hard work a little bit of luck and there's no guarantee of success in fact failure is more likely than success SpaceX mission is to make Humanity a multi-planetary species and you can't do so using Falcon 9 alone that's why SpaceX is building Starship once operational SpaceX launch Cadence will increase from once every three days to three times per day Elon Musk has said that the vital ingredient to make a Mars colony viable is to reduce launch costs dramatically and Starship will reduce launch costs by more than 10 times what Falcon 9 has already achieved for Tesla Beyond sustainable Transportation they aim to do the same with energy here in California we've had power shortages recently and we've seen the same throughout the world by using solar and wind to gather a battery Elon believes that we can power Humanity's energy needs this won't happen overnight and will take many years but we can start building it now using Ai and Panda white scale Tesla also aims to free up our time by building Robo taxis full self-driving and Tesla bot Elon Musk has said the time is the ultimate currency there are no guarantees in life but I know we miss 100 of the shots that we don't take when Elon Musk founded SpaceX and Tesla he knew he only had a 10 chance of success and both companies almost died he persevered that Parts hot and soul into both companies because he believed that they were important for Humanity Tesla has rewarded long-term shareholders well over the past 10 years and I believe that this story still has many more chapters to play out in the short term the stock market is a voting machine anything can happen to the stock price in the long term I believe the stock market is a weighing machine the stock price will reflect business fundamentals Tesla is a company that is profoundly changing Humanity there are many risks that lie ahead yep I am proud to be part of this journey if you found this video useful please click the like button hit subscribe to see how Tesla story plays out over the years
