hey what's up Good People how you doing on this holiday week holiday week remember guys that um uh on Thursday uh on Thanksgiving the markets will not be open but on Friday I believe that the markets will close at about 100 p.m. okay 1 p.m. Eastern Standard Time so you do the math based on where you live hey my name is stock up with Larry Jones I didn't ask you in the last few videos but go ahead give me me a Thanksgiving Thank You by hitting the like button as we discuss the stock market and Nvidia I am filming this before the earnings and um I'm going to show you guys or share with you guys what I'm doing uh before and after Nvidia earnings Hey listen uh but first look I got a sale going on all right there is a sale going on we have a Black Friday sale going going on right now with stock so uh there's a lot going on let's look at the overall stock market first today I'm filming this of course on uh Tuesday we have uh the Dow down 68 points as we could see here S&P down and the NASDAQ is down uh uh a lot actually the the NASDAQ being down the most so uh those cues hopefully on those cues you guys are shorten those cues on today because you're making money Q doing the sqq q's or just shorting the qqq's or should I say doing put options all right so let's keep it going right so what do we need to look at about Nvidia I'm going to say with Nvidia Nvidia here we are pre-markets right today we are down by 1.37% at the time of filming this right but if we look over the last 5 days it has been going up does that mean that the stock is going to continue to run up after closing Barr absolutely not you guys know uh again I am a buy the news sell the rumor investor okay when it comes to earnings I rarely ever hold through earnings and so how are you going to play Nvidia Larry so Nvidia for those of you that did not get any Nvidia here this is this is how I make money I will start the week of and I'll give it a day and see I'll look at uh some some light charting and see what direction is going here's where the money was made for the week right now if you're doing options you can make a lot of money going that way right but if you just want to trade the stock and you don't want to risk options at this point if you don't know the fundamentals of the companies if you don't know if they've ramped up with the chips we know the situation going on with China and the Banning of certain chips to China we also know that President XI and President Biden have been meeting uh but the the the big bang news the the uh news that the the let's say sanctions by the US for uh Nvidia to be able to sell more chips to China that that that news hasn't come out yet right and so right now most of you listening to me if you're really including you guys that's in the Discord okay we'll talk about the Discord later the truth be told a lot of you guys will be gambling now I personally see that uh it could actually continue to go up after March market now I think that there is a big pullback coming with Nvidia that's what I think here is what I think Could Happen do I know if they're going to go up or down uh on this earnings I don't know right and um from the looks of it nobody really knows okay I'm going to play a short CNBC video but I'm going to tell you that I don't know at this point because remember last Ernie the earnings came out it was actually really good forward guidance good what happened to the stock it cooled off right after hours now we could go up with Nvidia on some good news on Revenue right if the earnings is good it could go up this time and not down even on good news like it did last time but I'm looking at ranges right so yeah we could pop above 500 and keep running uh uh North right with the price of Nvidia but here's what I think I look I I am a psychology Trader Nvidia reminds me of where Tesla was okay remember where Tesla was when Tesla was having that second pump right and when when Tesla let's go to Tesla remember when Tesla was right at 200 right and it 200 was resist you guys remember that 200 was was resistance remember it ran all the way up from 101 all the way up to 200 right see here it ran all the way up to 200 right and then as you could see here I don't have a chart chart but if you drew a line right across here you'll see hit 200 200 became resistance came back down came back up again and what 200 became resistance again came back down came right up here right and then what happened it went berserk and went all the way up right so you could have made an extra 45% even after 200 it ran up here's what I think could happen if they beat earnings and if um the price runs up I believe the price will run up uh well up into the 500s but I also believe that there is a poor pull back that's going to happen after that you see that it pulled back more than 25% right that is something not to uh have a closed eye to now if you're just buying the stock I'm not talking about options if you're just buying the stock then I see an opportunity to be patient and get in as a matter of fact let's listen to this first and then I'm going to talk a little more about Nvidia was at the table with us today who covers this company um knows it like the back of your hand um can they live up to their own hype I mean I feel like we're we're at that stage where we need to ask that it's like that you know what was it two or three quarters ago they had the you know tremendous blowout the guidance was incredible uh and then as Amy was saying you know they they had another good quarter but the stock didn't react well and now we've been on this huge run to your point I actually have a graph that shows just how well they beat in q1 and Q2 q1 for Revenue it was like 11% higher which n you're like 11% higher that's a pretty decent beat last quarter Q2 was 20% so can they keep this momentum going that is the big question uh for this earnings period if I were to pick three uh main focuses yes Supply constraints like Josh mentioned but Microsoft CTO said in September that that is improving U Management on the earnings call last time Nvidia did say that they expect Supply to grow every single quarter sequentially the other point would be China that is a major overhang maybe not right now because they said there'll be no near-term impact but you do have these export controls and when China contributes 20 to 25% of data center Revenue you have to factor that in maybe a year from now when all of this uh Supply the supply issues subside and everybody gets the backlogs of the gpus they ordered and then lastly is data center demand Beyond 2024 Jimmy you're kind of new to the party um better late than never I mean I'm enjoying it regardless remind us and our viewers when you bought the the stock so I bought it in two tranches and I'm at a 2% waiting right now which is 2/3 of the S&P 500 waiting but I bought it uh you know over the summer in two trones and it's about a $440 average price Target compared to somebody like Josh I look like a but you know we're up at 500 this feels pretty good I'm enjoying the party look I think the the way that somebody a newbie like me looks at this is that this is a multi-year investment um you know we can talk about valuation as Josh has pointed out many times that's kind of irrelevant still I'm going to do it though because you know what 29 times forward earnings for a company that's growing 60% year-over-year earnings per share I think that's actually a bargain um now can they live up to the hype your question I I think they will but I'm also going to say this I wouldn't know how to trade the stock today for tomorrow which is not what I'm doing I'm a long-term investor if they blow it out of the park tonight I wouldn't be surprised if the stock gave up a little bit because of all the returns that you've just spoken about that says nothing negative about the long-term potential for this stock all I'm saying is um when you have a stock that rallies this much It's Not Unusual to give back a little bit after even a blowout earnings wouldn't be surprised if it happen so in a minute I'm going to tell you what I think about Nvidia and what I plan on doing remember anything I say is not a suggestion for you to buy hold or sell I know there's a lot of different influencers out there everybody's going to give you what they're doing and the truth be told there's many many ways to make money right so all don't have to be wrong and all don't have to be right and all could make money with different approaches right but let me tell you about the stock Squad listen um listen we had a scalp this morning myself put a scalp this morning made a quick 20% either 20 or 23% and um uh we do this daily and you don't Thanksgiving good people we know all right so here's what I think about uh Nvidia um I think Nvidia you know could have good earnings uh just like the gentleman stated and still cool off it did that before right I don't know if it was last quarter it might be the last quarter after that but that's what Nvidia did but I still think Nvidia is going to a process right now where to a lot is expensive right but look at the earnings that they have if if they're having uh if they're having a beat quarter by quarter and they're increasing their revenue quarter by quarter then it justifies the high PE all right that's what the gentleman was stating and uh Tesla has proven this uh over and over and I believe Nvidia is on the track too I believe that Nvidia and I've been saying this uh for many many months will be one of the top if not the top one the top two AI winner okay because they need the AI chips they need the processors that Nvidia provide so I think Nvidia could even run up if it does run up right I'm not saying it will after earnings because I'mma buy the rumor sell the news right I'm already out I think it could if it does does run up right and blow past five and resistance uh comes support then we have a bounce up I believe down the road if we're patient myself I plan on getting it around the 260s area that's me okay I believe that it will come back so myself I will be accumulating Nvidia at 460 down to 450 that will be my accumulation range now remember I have some Nvidia that I've been DCA in for years but this is where I would be adding to my uh Nvidia at a higher dollar amount let's say if it runs up right it breaks five and it's just goes on a massive Bull Run um I would just wait and then I would see if it will cool down because a lot of you guys will be chasing and you'll be buying um at the top let's just face it for those of you that are not skilled a lot of you guys will have fomo and you will be buying at the top rather then waiting just like Tesla and then it cools back off remember Tesla was $400 right then it cooled back off and just be patient that's what I'm saying but you do what's best for you after you do your own due diligence so that's what I'm going to uh look for I'm if it does pop back up I'mma go hey you know congratulations for those of you that have the call options congratulations but if it comes back down then and it breaks beneath 500 and starts to fall again I believe it will retrace back to the I'm going to start buying at 460s when I say 460 excuse the headaches these allergies I mean 460 is all right so if it gets to 468 and starts to come down I mean nipple but 460 is my buy range and if it keeps going down from there I'm going to keep buying it because just like the gentleman said I believe that Nvidia
