use cases, and Nvidia is the only chip in the world that is fueling the AI revolution. This is what we are observing now. Dan Ives believes Nvidia is 30% undervalued, and why it still has potential for growth, right? Stay until the end of the video and I'll tell you what popular promotion finally made its biggest skeptics recommend it for purchase.
I'm Indy, welcome to our channel, and before we get started, let's watch this video where Dan Ives explains his reasons. Nvidia shares have hit a record high again, with the company's market capitalization approaching $6 trillion. To learn more about the future prospects, we were joined by Wedbush Partner and Senior Managing Director Dan Ives.
Nice to see you, friend. Thank you for coming back. Nice to see you. What do you think is behind this recent stock rally? I think the most important thing is that all the checks are being confirmed, and investors are starting to understand that the figures are probably underestimated by 25-30% for next year.
I mean, we're seeing a huge acceleration with all these enterprise AI use cases, and Nvidia is the only chip in the world that's fueling the AI revolution. This is what we are observing now. Undervalued by 20-30%? Really? That's a lot. How could we be so wrong? Yes, the demand for chips is growing rapidly.
If we look back at the last few quarters, Nvidia has been treated somewhat indifferently, but if we look at what is happening in Asia according to our data, the process is accelerating . The supply-demand ratio has shifted from 10:1 and 11:1 to 13:1 and 14:1 as physical AI and other enterprise tasks are now rapidly evolving .
So, it's not just about hyperscalers. It all comes down to this one chip that powers the whole world, and that's Nvidia. And I think investors were even cautious to some extent last quarter, but now it's becoming quite clear that the numbers were significantly underestimated not only for this quarter, but probably for the next 6-8 quarters.
Mhm. Investors may be betting on this based on how they are pushing the Nasdaq index, which has hit another record high. I want you to listen to the conversation, Josh Brown's commentary from "Halftime" about mega-cap stocks, why these stocks are rising and where they can go. Listen. But the truth is, if Apple is in a product cycle right now and is making new highs, um, and now Nvidia, after consolidating for God knows how long, is starting to make new highs, and you have earnings revisions to the upside for those two companies, then Microsoft is in a kind of stasis; Meta has regained form, regained its narrative, they are getting multiplier expansion on top of a new story of revenue growth.
Um, are these the stocks that really matter for how the S&P ends the year? I assume you agree with that . I don't think this is a big shock, given the size of the market capitalization of these companies. But regarding the idea with Microsoft, which, by the way, received a rating upgrade from Melius today, the target price is 665.
You know, over the last month, apart from Meta, Microsoft is the best performer, albeit slightly, among its mega- cap competitors. Why is that? This is because, this is because of the corporate sector . Because when you look at Azure and where these use cases are going, ultimately it's Redmond and the dollar that's going to win so many of these deals.
And I think that goes back to the last few quarters. Look, Microsoft was one of those, you know, everyone was very negative, but as you see now, as the use cases expand, this Azure metric, you can expect an additional 10-15% of revenue that Wall Street isn't factoring in. And I think all of this fits in with the Nvidia theme and what we're seeing with hyperscalers.
As they accelerate over the next few quarters, big tech companies are finally showing their strength again. And then add Meta and Muse, and that, I think, really solidifies this theme. Investors betting against these companies, whether Apple or Meta, should understand that the installed base is the golden goose, and that's exactly what these companies have.
So, essentially, Nvidia makes all the money when it comes to AI, and at this point, there is no other company that can compete with them . Okay, so this is an article I want to share with you guys, titled: Why a longtime Palantir stock skeptic is finally saying it's time to buy, right? So, I'll keep waiting, this Goldman Sachs analyst, yes, upgraded Palantir stock to " buy" from " neutral." Barger said Palantir could grow as governments and businesses seek to build and deploy sovereign AI systems, right?
The analyst noted that the target price for Palantir shares is $230, which implies about 15% upside from current prices, right? So, Palantir Technologies shares were rising on Thursday , approaching a one-year high, as one analyst said that the growing opportunities in sovereign AI could take the company to a new stage of development, right?
The data-driven software company is seeing rapid revenue growth amid the artificial intelligence boom, but some investors are asking whether it has peaked and whether there is still potential for the stock to grow. So, according to Goldman Sachs analyst Gabriel, right? At least for the past three years, Barger has been in the former camp, right?
Actually, it was a neutral rating on the stock, but she changed her mind and now recommends investors buy this stock, right? So she actually changed her position, right? She was against it, wasn't she? She was neutral , and now she says, "Hey, you know what? Based on my analysis right now, right? Go ahead and buy Nvidia.
It's a great stock. There 's 15% upside potential right now, right? According to her calculations, right? She thinks Palantir's overall addressable market could see significant growth as more government and commercial organizations look to build and deploy AI systems that they can manage themselves, without having to rely on third-party AI models and cloud providers, right?
That's a well-known practice called sovereign AI, right? So this is something new in AI, right? Palantir shares are up 1.9%, right? They were up 2.4% at midday on Thursday, but they're now headed for their highest close since Nov. 3, right? 1225. This rally is coming against the backdrop of a broader tech selloff , right?
Because the NASDAQ 100 is down 1.39%, right? So that's losing about 0.07%, right? So Barger pointed to other tiers of systems that have offerings for the enterprise sector, right? Applying AI to their own data, right? Like CrowdStrike, Safe Mines, AI models for cybersecurity, where software companies can typically rely on their own teams to build and deploy these products, right?
Barger expects industries with less concentration of technical talent to be an opportunity for Palantir, right? So that opportunity coincides with Palantir moving towards a more vertical model, where different products and platforms are tailored to specific industries, right? She added, right ? So the market for Palantir could also expand as the focus shifts to specialized software, while AI helps reduce development costs, right?
So Barger pointed out that many companies It's hard to build tools that are tailored to the customer, given the disconnect between data, workflows, and end-to-end execution, right? So that's the core problem, right? What is Palantir's ontology designed to solve, right? She said, referring to the company's product that creates a digital twin of corporate data to map to real-world objects, right?
It's a relationship and a certain type of action, right? So Palantir's operational layer is going to become increasingly important, she said, as AI applications become more agent-like systems that can autonomously work on multiple tasks, right? So tasks, right? Meanwhile, some investors are concerned about the sustainability of Palantir's business model of using engineers who work in the field.
Bragar said that involves a software engineer working directly on site with the customer to configure and operate the technology, right? So they send engineers to the real site to help customer, right? So they're out there. Almost like Deloitte and one of the Big Four, as they sometimes do, right? So this strategy allows for real-time feedback from customers about the technology , which has allowed Palantir to improve product development and maintain an edge over its competitors, right?
Bragar said, right? After Palantir's stock skyrocketed 240% in 2024 and 135 % in 2025, it's up a modest 12.2% in 2026, underperforming the Nasdaq 100, right? Which is down, right? 1.39%, right? And 22% up, right? It's down for the day right now, but it is, right? So Palantir is actually underperforming the Nasdaq, if you look at the earnings spread, right?
So Bragar thinks that relative weakness combined with growing market opportunity gives investors a chance to buy the stock at a discount, right? So she set a price target of 230 on the stock, which assumes about 50% upside potential from where it is today, right? So that's mostly based on her analysis, right?
She's finally on Palantir's side and saying, you know what? Let's go and buy this stock. There's a 15% upside potential here, right? For Palantir. And Palantir is now trading at $1.98, going to $2 soon. Honestly, I recommended this stock on my channel at about $33 a share when I saw the conviction and how it was poised to go up, right?
This is one of the stocks that I've talked about on my channel a few times, and I'm surprised it's trading at $200 a share. Palantir originally went public through a SPAC for at about $7 a share. You know, I had it then, I still have it now, and even though I was making some profit, I still have a lot of shares left.
But this is one of those stocks that I recommended on my channel a long time ago , and I'm glad I did, right? So those of you who were able to make money on it — congratulations. But I also have another article to share with you quickly , okay? This one is about Oracle, right? There was about $2.5 million in insider buying, right?
The stock is oscillating on the OpenAI news. So, the highlights: Oracle board member Stephan bought 25,000 shares of the company for about $3.5 million on the open market on September 29th. Right? This is her first time joining Oracle's board, right? So this is actually a board member purchase, right?
I don't think this is indicative of a massive insider buying of Oracle stock. While Oracle could be attractive to many. Its market cap is 434 billion . I think their goal is to become a company worth at least a trillion dollars. Oracle is now completely focused on AI and infrastructure for AI. They are laying off a lot of people, cutting costs to find funding for their bet on AI.
Overall, yes, it is an insider buy , but I'm not sure it's something you should run out and buy right away . But Oracle can be a good buy if you do your own research and decide that this is the best stock for you, so go for it. But it's a pretty decent and solid company. They are working on a lot of new things and I just wanted to tell you about it , but , friends, and click on the link below.
