so with that being said let's not waste any more time let's get started now one of warren buffett's fundamental investing rules is very simple invest in what you understand or in other words invest in your circle throwing your money into ev stocks and gene editing stocks may seem to be a thing to do these days but if you don't know anything about those fields or the companies then you're basically just gambling and that's where building conviction can come into play because this conviction and to just give you an example of buying the dip has allowed me to not panic during these massive write days like we've seen in the market and instead has allowed me to buy the dip over and over again of course that's as long as i'm being smart with my cash reserves and my wife doesn't find out that i've been going all into tesla no but in all seriousness my wife doesn't really know that i'm going all in on tesla now i really want to inform you guys about what's been going on but at the end of the day worry will only cause harm and not good in the middle of chaos we must focus on what we can control our attitude our outlook and our actions and throughout history the market has gone through many extreme ups and downs and when we look back we are reminded that yes a market crash is a very difficult thing to go through but it's something that we can and will overcome so given that i think it's very important to set expectations up front and just remind yourself that any time that you invest you should invest knowing that no one knows what's really going to happen as everyone loves to guess and predict about things they have no control over and the best guidance from many investors out there is to just buy and hold as long as those companies fundamentals remain the same now that's the only investment i really really truly stand by because there's just no way anyone can try to predict what's going to happen over the next few weeks months or years now a very quick note guys you guys already know that i try to reply to as many comments as possible and the real me will have the name highlighted as they're having a lot of scammer accounts and bots using my name and my picture so be sure to not reply to any of them so just please be safe out there now if you know me you already know that i have one of the strongest convictions on the companies that i talk about here on my channel and the stock price performance is not a reflection on how well or bad the company is doing so if you don't want to take it from me then take it from kathy wood suffice to say you're still very long tesla right like i don't go to the store the taxis i get it right i don't want to take any more of your time so i just that's am i correct on that i think many firms understand how big it's going to be in electric vehicles no one's giving it credit for autonomous our conviction on its autonomous strategy has increased uh significantly over the last few months got it oh this your conviction has increased that's good so maybe a new price target yes and we've just finished our model and we're going to write the blog with it and i keep saying two weeks and i apologize for people who are waiting for two weeks but you know compliance and other market activity uh gets in the way compliance doesn't get in the way that would be a terrible thing to say i'm sorry interviews with me gets in the way you know like um yeah so stay tuned all right so as we've talked about this before panic can make the crash just as bad as the actual economic hurdles we are facing so don't fall for it and uncertainty left unchecked can become fear and the most basic principle of investing is to buy low and sell high so think of it as buying on sale when the market drops so don't try to time the market focus on time in the market let's talk a little bit about the fact that the market's down almost 800 points this morning yeah concern for you well no that's good for us actually i mean we're a net buyer of stocks over time and uh just like being a net buyer of food i expect to buy food the rest of my life and i hope that food goes down in price tomorrow so when stocks are down uh you know we're gonna we're gonna be buying on balance and and who wouldn't rather buy it uh you know a lower price at a higher price people are really strange on that i mean they uh because most people most most your listeners are savers and that means they'll be that buyers and they should want the stock market to go down they should want to buy the lower price but but they got that feeling that they just feel better when stocks are going up so now back to tesla now i know that we often talk about ev stocks here on my channel and you know that i'm a very big believer in this industry's future because currently evs are not as widespread as standard vehicles but as battery costs improve prices will drop significantly as we are also expecting tesla to release their 25 000 vehicle later this year maybe going towards 2022.
so really think about it if a traditional vehicle costs the same as an eevee vehicle but one is safer and more efficient why would anyone not make the change and very recently kathy wood stated that they are working on a new price target for tesla and that they actually just finished their model and that a new blog post will be issued very soon possibly within the next two weeks in my opinion that price target will be a very bullish price target which makes me more confident than ever that tesla will become the most valuable company in the world i think that uh you know so elon has said that the autonomous driving which he believes is going to be effective by the end of the year he thinks that alone is going to be worth 500 billion to a trillion dollars in 10 years just the autonomous driving feature and that's going to be a subscription business my guess is you know right now you buy a car it cost you ten thousand dollars uh to have autonomous driving uh and uh at some point i think that you'll probably pay a hundred dollars a month uh and uh there'll be 20 million cars a year sold i hope uh and uh and all the cars that had been sold before it could be in 10 years it could be a 40 billion a year revenue business uh growing very rapidly because you're going to be adding more cars there's a billion cars that you have to replace ultimate electric cars he's got a really big runway in front of him and this is going to be a highly valued business that's one so that alone is worth the presence price of stock in 10 years in addition to that you're going to get a business in tesla that i think could be doing 600 billion dollars a year revenues and making 200 billion dollars a year of gross profit you get that for free a battery business that can be doing uh just about as much in revenues and a little bit less in profits you get that for free an insurance business you get that for free you get a ride share business you get that for free you get a a you know the uh the solar roof business uh you get that for free so so the opportunity here when i'm describing two thousand dollars as a target price in ten years i think it could actually be more than that so to conclude tesla has agreed to buy nickel from a mine in new caledonia in a new move to secure its supply of the battery metal which elon musk has called the group's biggest concern now tesla will become a technical advisor at the goro mine on the pacific island and also get long-term supplies of nickel from their project as part of an agreement with the new colonia government now nickel is needed for the most powerful lithium-ion batteries used in electric vehicles so with this move tesla is making sure that their batteries are becoming as efficient as possible and again even though we are seeing tesla stock and every other stock drop dramatically we have to note that fundamentally tesla has not changed therefore there should be no reason to panic so this is why i always like to reinforce a long-term focus and just think of the bigger picture and with that in mind thank you guys so much for watching if you enjoyed this video do not forget to give it a thumbs up subscribe and hit the notification bell for more and if you want two free stocks weeble is going to be giving you two free stocks if you deposit 100 or more into your account and one of those stocks could be valued up to 1 800 so be sure to sign up using my link down below also do not forget to follow me on instagram and join my discord chat as always thank you guys so much for watching until next time
