01. hey, what's going on? Santerian Hawkins here from prodigymarketingonline.com. This video is going to help you get signed up for Coinbase so that you can start using Bitcoin with whatever ventures you're doing online. If you're on my team in some of the programs I'm talking about, specifically Mmm Global, this is going to help you get signed up and get your back office configured so everything runs efficiently for you. You can also share this video with your referrals so they can get started as well.

02. Now, Coinbase is definitely a great wallet to use for people in the USA. However, if you're in another country you may want to consider Blockchain or Zappo, and there are a few other options. If you're in another country and want to sign up for a wallet where you can get Bitcoin, just contact me on Facebook and I can see which ones will fit your needs.

03. Okay, let's move right ahead. When you come to this page, and if you're looking at this video you'll see the link to get started with Coinbase below this video. I'm also going to leave a link to a YouTube video I did that shows you how to fund your Coinbase wallet on the same day, and how to fund it inside your back office.

04. Let's get started. When you come to this page, hit Sign Up. It'll take you to a page where you enter your first and last name, email, and password, or sign in if you already have an account. I'm not going to sign up here, but this is the information you'll put in. Then hit Create Account.

05. Now, don't be alarmed by this figure where it says one Bitcoin equals 403.43. That amount fluctuates, and you won't have to pay $403 to fund your Coinbase account. That's just what one Bitcoin is worth. You can start funding your Coinbase with as little as five, ten, or twenty dollars, whatever you choose. Don't be alarmed by it, because you won't need $403 per Bitcoin to get started. I just want to give you a heads up.

06. So I'm going to sign in, since I'm already signed up. I'll enter my email, my password is already filled in, and I'll log in. Okay, I have to enter this code here. All right, it's logging me in. This is the back office.

07. First things first, go ahead and link your bank account. The reason is that when you start getting paid in here, when Bitcoin starts coming in, you'll likely want to get it into your bank account. You'll probably want to convert those Bitcoins into dollars so you can use them. You may want to hold some Bitcoin here because its value fluctuates. It tends to spike up and sometimes goes down. It's kind of wavy at times. So it's all up to you.

08. Let me explain this a little. The BTC wallet is the most important part here. Don't worry about the USD wallet, that's completely different. The BTC wallet is what we're interested in. As you can see, I don't have any money in here. I either sell the Bitcoins or transfer them straight to my bank account, which is why there's no money showing.

09. To configure your bank account, click your name at the top right and select Settings. You can go through these tabs, but today we're interested in the Payment Methods tab. I also advise putting some security on your Coinbase wallet. The first time I logged in, you saw that I had to get a text message code, and that's very important. You can check out Preferences as well, but right now we're going to click Payment Methods.

10. As you can see, my bank is already set up and verified. To add your bank, click "Add payment method," then choose bank account. Pick your bank. If your bank isn't listed, you can pick "Other bank." For that you'll need your bank account number and routing number. Click Other bank, and you'll see options for checking, savings, or business checking. Enter your routing number, account number, and name. It even shows you an example check so you can see where to find these numbers. Make sure you select the right account type, whether checking, savings, or business checking. Then link it to your account and hit Next.

11. Once that's done, follow the steps. The fastest way I've seen to get your account verified is this: if you have a bank that's supported, log in with your bank credentials. I bank with Bank of America, for example, but that account isn't tied in here. I have another account linked. If you log in with your bank information, you'll be verified immediately. It's very secure, and you don't need to worry about fraud. Doing it this way verifies you right away, and then you can start buying Bitcoin from your bank account. Either way, you need to verify your bank account.

12. Once it's verified, you can buy Bitcoin. The easiest way, which takes about three to five business days to hit your account, is to click "Buy/Sell" at the top and then select Buy Bitcoin. Enter the USD amount. Say I put in 20 bucks. Scroll down, and it automatically calculates the Bitcoin amount for you, so you don't have to worry about that. Make sure it says Buy, not Sell, since you're buying Bitcoin. Scroll down and hit "Buy Bitcoin instantly." When you return to your primary wallet, it'll show how much time is left for the Bitcoin to hit your account, usually four to five business days.

13. I've had people ask how to get Bitcoin back into dollars in their bank account. Great question. You go back to Buy/Sell, but this time you select Sell. Say you have $800 USD in there, a little over two Bitcoin. To transfer that to your bank, you don't select Buy. You select Sell Bitcoin. Make sure it says Sell. Enter the amount, say $800. It may say that you don't have it in there, which is true because this is just an example for the training video. Your payment method should be your verified bank account, and it'll automatically calculate the amount in Bitcoin. Scroll down and hit Sell Bitcoin. When you go back to your primary wallet, it'll show the time remaining for those Bitcoins to go into your bank account as US dollars.

14. That's it, folks. That's as simple as I can explain it. You can come back and watch this video anytime. And if you want a faster way to get Bitcoin into your account, check out the other YouTube video linked below, which shows you how to do that.

15. I hope this video serves you well. Let me know if you have any questions. God bless, and talk to you soon.
