01. Is it too late to invest in AI? Well, today we'll speak with one of Wall Street's best-known tech analyst. He'll tell us why he thinks it's still early. And he'll give us his lineup of nine AI stocks to play it. So, let's get started. This is Ticker Tank. John, every AI investor is asking the same question right now.

02. Yeah, Caroline, is it too late? Have we missed the trade? Or are we still early? And we got a great answer from Dan Ives of Wedbush. Dan is one of the most well-followed tech analysts on Wall Street. He is, and he's been one of the loudest bulls on the AI trade. So, we asked him to tell us exactly where we are in the game, so to speak.

03. I'd say it's third inning, one out, man on second. Okay, so Dan says third inning. We're still early. Yeah, but but how does he know? Like, why the third, not the sixth, not the seventh? So, here's Dan again. I mean, look, I just came back from Asia for a few weeks. We do that trip, you know, three or four times a year.

04. Demand and supply is 12 to 1 for Nvidia chips. So, it keeps coming down to you could be a bear on the 35th floor of a New York City office building or but when you see the demand, when I talk to the hundreds of customers, that really shows this is still early. Less than 5% of companies have gone down the path just in the US.

05. And it's And when I say third inning, it could be second inning, but it's not fourth, it's not fifth. And I think that's where investors continue to miss this bull market. All right, so the data says we're still early, so which means there's still a lot of game left to play. Yeah, so if you're still early, the question becomes how do you pick the companies that are going to be the stars of the game?

06. Now, before we get to Dan's lineup, here he is explaining his process. For me, I mean, thematically, it's where do you want to be in terms of like I think it's chips and software. So, first is the sub sectors that are going to see the growth. Then it's trying to understand who are the companies that the winners, that have technology gates that can't be replicated.

07. Whether that's Nvidia on chips, whether it's Palantir on software, whether it's CrowdStrike on cybersecurity. And then it's valuation and risk. And it comes down to the time frame. And when you put the Every investor is going to have a different sort of whiteboard, but when you put it all together, that's where the magic formula to me.

08. Secular company and then risk. All right, with all that said, let's get to Dan's nine stocks. And Dan didn't just give us nine names in any order, he gave us a lineup batting one through nine, so that's how we're going to walk through them. But first, a friendly reminder, this is not financial advice.

09. Batting first, Microsoft. hitter, Dan says, "When most companies start thinking about AI in the enterprise, they start with Microsoft." Enterprise, foundational, when you think about AI, most companies in the world are going to go to AI with Microsoft. If they're sort of starting, you know, who's starting the game, it's them and and it really was them when it came to the OpenAI deal back in '23.

10. Batting second, Alphabet. Yeah, the parent company of Google. Dan likes Microsoft and Alphabet as a one-two punch at the top of the order. Here's why. I mean, if you look what they've done on cloud, Gemini, search, they're They have massive momentum right now. And and that's when I think they're they're going to gain more and more momentum with Gemini.

11. I like Alphabet after Microsoft. That's a great one-two punch down the lineup. Batting third, Palantir. Dan thinks there's no better story on the software side right now than Palantir. And he says the next phase of the AI story is just getting started. Here's his perspective. I mean, with everything Karp's built on the software side, I don't think there's a better monetization case in terms of that we're seeing play out than Palantir, and I think it's just starting this sort of next phase of AI.

12. Batting fourth, Nvidia. The cleanup spot, Dan has been bullish on Nvidia for a long time, Caroline, and he thinks they still have plenty of room to run. Godfather of AI gents. I mean, he can wear the black leather jacket when he's playing baseball, too. They're the epicenter. They're the foundation.

13. They're going to be a $6 trillion market cap in 2027. Batting fifth, Taiwan Semi. Well, Dan says no matter who you think wins the chip wars, almost all of them get made at TSMC, so that makes them foundational. Foundational regardless of who you think's going to be ultimately a winner on some of the sort of second derivative.

14. I mean, I get some of the concerns about Taiwan, but to me, TSMC fifth. Batting sixth, CrowdStrike. Well, now we're moving from chips to cybersecurity. Dan thinks CrowdStrike is going to be one of the biggest beneficiaries of the AI buildout. I mean, everything that George and team have done, you're going to see surface area just further, further expand when it comes to AI, and I think they have one of the best platforms out there.

15. Batting seventh, Palo Alto Networks. The other half of Dan's cyber pairing here. Uh, obviously big deal with CyberArk not too long ago. Here's Dan on where Palo Alto goes from here. CrowdStrike and Palo Alto are two cybersecurity players. When the cash, you know, with the in terms of the CyberArk deal, how they're positioned, I think and then I think investors are not factoring in what the demand's going to look like for a Palo Alto.

16. Batting eighth, AMD. A lot of people ask us about AMD. Dan thinks there are going to be a lot of chip winners outside of Nvidia, and uh, obviously AMD's had a nice run, but they remained at the top of that list. I think they're going to be another huge beneficiary of chips. I think you've seen obviously a huge run this year in terms of the stock, but there's going to be a lot of players outside just Nvidia that win here, and I think AMD's sort of front and center.

17. And batting ninth, Tesla. Dan thinks Tesla is the play on what he calls physical AI, autonomous robotics, everything that's coming next. Here's Dan. Just relative to physical AI, where they play autonomous robotics, I think that's going to be the future. And you know, I get it's you you haven't seen it yet, but physical AI and they're going to continue to dominate.

18. All right, our thanks to Dan for walking us through his AI lineup. You can learn more about Dan in our description. Well, there's all sorts of ways to connect with us. Like that?
