Hello everyone, Economic Ninja is here. Goldman Sachs has released some pretty shocking information. This data is impressive because this is the first time this has happened, and although it doesn't sound very significant, it is actually serious because it is a precedent. Quantum traders and stock analysts lost 3% in October.
This has never happened in all the time Goldman Sachs has been tracking these two stock selection methods. Why is this so important? Because we are currently going through a phase of change. The stock market is changing; it refracts, becoming unstable due to volatility in the indices. When analysts become more nervous and cautious in the markets, they don't know what to do, and that will make many people lose money, but you can make money from it , okay?

So it says that according to prime brokerage Goldman Sachs, which released its October hedge fund performance report, global fundamental long-short funds lost 3.49% last month, while systemic funds, Goldman's proxy for quants, lost 3.6%.
For the first time in the bank's history, starting in 2016, both groups fell by 3% or more in the same month. And this happened in a month when the MSCI World index fell by only 0.77%. So, that's a huge difference between these percentages. And the S&P index fell only 0.87%. That is, not even by 1%.
So, this is really important. So, when both of these indexes fell less than a percent, Goldman Sachs' quant traders and stock analysts lost three. This means that both computers and people are now very confused about how to trade this market, and this adds volatility, adds fear, and it will get better from here.
Wait. When I say "better," I want to make that clear. As the stock market falls, the prices of gold , silver, and cryptocurrency will also fall , right? We have so many frustrated sellers , they give up and lower their prices incredibly. My son sent me a message about an upscale apartment in a very expensive area. They usually cost $850,000 . They just dropped $100,000. The percentage of this drop is huge and they won't sell it this month. They simply won't be able to because the rates will continue to rise.
So when I say things will get better, it's because we'll be able to buy these assets for next to nothing . That's why I think tax liens are such an incredible opportunity right now, because they're a place where you can invest your money and make crazy profits, and if you get a few of those, it's " mailbox money." And then, when things go down, you take that increased money and buy other investments.
This is what I'm talking about when I mean scalability. So when Goldman Sachs comes out and says things like we haven't seen anything like this since 2016 , that's something we should pay attention to . And that's it. Link below.
