01. Gold just suffered its worst quarter in over a decade. And if you are sitting here right now counting your losses, panicking, or worse, thinking about selling all your gold and silver because you can't stand to watch the numbers turn red every day , I ask you to stop and listen to me for the next 30 minutes.

02. Because I think you're going to make the same mistake that I've seen people make five or six times in my career, and each time it's cost them a fortune -- not a small amount of money, but a real fortune. I've been doing this for a long time. I've experienced meltdowns that make this one look like a rounding error in a spreadsheet.

03. I've seen smart, capable people who have built real businesses, people who are much sharper than me in their fields, panic at the most inopportune moment because no one ever taught them what panic really costs. So today I will break down for you what is happening in the gold and silver market right now and why the big players wanted this particular movement.

04. What the Fed and the government are quietly doing behind the scenes that most financial media outlets don't even mention, and why I believe the next 12-18 months could be one of the most important windows of opportunity in this market cycle. This is not hype. This is not a commercial. This is how I personally manage my money today, risking my own capital.

05. So stay with me. Before we start, if this is your first time here, do me a favor — subscribe now, because I'm not going to waste your time on water or empty chatter . What I'm going to talk about for the next half hour is the type of analytics that people pay real money to access. I'm talking about the approach for which hedge funds charge management fees and performance fees, a view that costs clients tens of thousands of dollars a year in advisory agreements .

06. You get it here for free. All I ask in return is a subscription. Because where this story goes in the coming months will matter far more than where it has been. And I do n't want you to miss the further discussions we'll have as events unfold in real time. So, let's start with what actually happened.

07. Because I guarantee that most people who sit and stare at the price on their phone have no idea what exactly happened beneath the surface. At the beginning of this year, gold reached its all-time high. Silver did something even more impressive, reaching levels that frankly shocked even people who have been working in this market for decades.

08. And then everything quickly collapsed. Faster than anyone expected . Was there any trigger ? Of course, a new Federal Reserve official emerged, speaking in a tough, hawkish tone , insisting that the central bank would not yield to political pressure and that bringing inflation down to the target level was the most important task.

09. Markets don't like to hear this when it comes to precious metals, as there is a general belief that higher interest rates over a long period of time make gold and silver less attractive compared to bonds that produce real income. This is the classic explanation you'll hear on every financial news channel, and it's not wrong.

10. But this is far from the whole story, and I want you to understand the inner workings, because this is where ordinary investors are constantly manipulated, and no one ever explains why. That's what really matters. When the market is rising rapidly, like gold and silver did last year, you get a huge amount of credit positions right below the current price, where stop-loss orders are lined up like dominoes.

11. Large trading platforms that see the real flow of orders know exactly where these " dominoes" are located. They know exactly how many stop losses are accumulated at each price level, and when you see where each chip stands, you don't need a conspiracy to flip them. It is enough to simply push the first one hard by selling aggressively in a thin market, trigger the first wave of stop- losses, and watch everything collapse under its own weight as one stop- loss triggers the next.

12. Then, when the panic subsides and the market falls low enough that there is nothing left to provoke, you come back as a buyer, take the assets at a significant discount, and wait for the recovery. This isn't some crazy internet theory. This is simply how markets behave with concentrated leverage— every time and in every asset class for as long as I can remember.

13. And the ones who suffered the most in this situation were not those who had been calmly buying gold for 20 or 30 years. And those who joined late, chasing headlines, buying near the peak because the price had already risen sharply and they didn't want to be left out. They are the first to panic because they are suffering losses compared to the price they paid.

14. And psychologically it is unbearable for most people. So , they get out, and a significant portion of that money chases the next "hot" asset. Right now, these are still stocks of companies related to artificial intelligence. This is not a criticism of these people. It's just human nature, and it's been that way for as long as markets have existed.

15. People buy assets that are rising because it seems safe and sell those that are falling because it's scary, which is the exact opposite of how real capital is created. Now I'll explain why I don't particularly care about this, and I want to be completely honest with you. I have never owned so much silver or gold relative to other assets that a drop like this would cause me to lose sleep.

16. These are not just words for a video. This is essentially the whole point of investing in one sentence. The main goal of determining position size, the whole point of properly building a portfolio, is that you should never have so much of any asset that a drawdown would send you into a state of real panic.

17. If you can't sleep because of a price change, it's not bad luck. This is a position sizing mistake you made earlier, and the market is now making you pay for it . To be honest, I even bought a little more last week , gradually increasing my position, because I have a feeling that the worst of this decline is already behind me.

18. But I want to clarify something. This is just a hunch, not a certainty, and I'm not betting everything on emotions. I still have a reserve of funds if the price goes lower, but I'm not going to significantly increase my exposure just because the price continues to fall. There is a huge difference between opportunistic buying and doubling down on your bets out of stubbornness.

19. Let me tell you a story from early in my career that I think about every time the markets get so volatile . During the 1987 crash, I remember being instructed to close a large position on Friday due to a strange communication failure that day. The details don't matter, but the message physically couldn't have arrived until Monday morning.

20. The transaction was executed at the worst possible moment, right in the middle of the worst trading day in the history of that market. This sale took place at the worst price in that entire period. Point. And you know who was on the other side of the deal? People who sincerely believed they were buying at a bargain price, but ended up paying significantly more than the minimum, which came in just a few days.

21. That's the lesson. I want you to really understand this, not just nod your head. No one hits the bottom exactly. Not me, not the loudest voice on financial television, not some algorithm running in a data center. Anyone who says they consistently predict the tops and bottoms is either lying to you or about to lose your money.

22. If you are currently checking the price of your gold or silver holdings every 5 minutes, that is not diligence, that is not discipline. This is a clear signal that your position is too large compared to your financial situation. And the correct reaction is not to add more. And reduce it so that you can calmly live the day without remembering it.

23. The simplest and most effective risk management tool in this business is embarrassingly basic. Have less of the asset that currently worries you. That's all. That's the whole secret. Now let's look at the big picture. Because beneath this quarter of poor price dynamics, a much larger story is unfolding.

24. And this is the reason why I still believe that gold and silver will be of immense importance in the coming years. Maybe within the next decade. Yes, we have a new " hawkish" voice in the Fed that is scaring traders in the short term. But put aside this noise for a moment and look at what is actually happening to the dollar at a structural level.

25. There is real, targeted pressure to gradually ease it. And it happens quietly through mechanisms that ordinary people have simply never been advised to pay attention to. You've probably seen recent headlines about a wave of major financial companies introducing new stablecoin products. We're talking about some of the biggest names in payments, banking, and finance, all operating in concert.

26. That's why this detail is more important than it seems from the headlines. Every dollar held in these stablecoins must be backed by something tangible. In practice, this something is almost always short-term government debt. So you are witnessing the creation of a completely new, largely forced source of demand for government bonds, channeling money that used to sit in regular bank accounts into instruments that directly support the government's ability to borrow money cheaply.

27. This is not a conspiracy theory. It's just financial mechanics. Simple and clear. And that tells you something important about where we really are in this cycle. The government needs to create new categories of buyers of its debt, because traditional buyers, especially foreign central banks, are becoming noticeably more cautious .

28. When you have to artificially stimulate demand through the private sector, it is not a sign of strength. This is a clear signal of latent tension, regardless of whether anyone in Washington says it out loud. And every over- indebted government throughout recorded history has ultimately faced the same choice.

29. Either declare default directly and openly, or quietly devalue the currency so that the debt actually decreases in real terms, without admitting anything to anyone. No one ever voluntarily chooses open default. It is too shameful, too destructive, and too costly from a political perspective. They always choose the path of quiet devaluation because it is slower, much less noticeable to the average person, and does not require any awkward press conferences.

30. Here's the part that really keeps me up at night, far more than any quarterly gold chart. And this is the part that almost no one in the mainstream financial press wants to waste time on. Debt relative to the size of the entire economy continues to grow year after year. And there's no clear, agreed-upon line where everyone suddenly says, " Okay, this is officially too much." This does n't work like a speed limit, where 60 is fine and 100 results in an automatic penalty.

31. It all depends 100% on trust and nothing else. Japan had huge levels of public debt for decades and largely avoided trouble, until this year, when cracks began to appear that surprised even professionals. This is how these situations usually unfold in the real world. Trust lasts and lasts until the very moment when it simply disappears.

32. And when it finally breaks, it happens shockingly quickly, not gradually. We actually saw an example of this dynamic a few years ago in the UK, when the bond market effectively vetoed a government spending program in real time. Within days, government bond yields jumped so sharply that the central bank was forced to immediately intervene and buy bonds to stop the financial spiral.

33. Here's a detail that should genuinely bother you if you think about it for even a minute. It later turned out that pension funds in that country held derivatives that almost no one, except a narrow circle of specialists, fully understood. Instruments that were perfectly acceptable under normal conditions, but imploded as soon as yields changed too much and too quickly .

34. Those funds were forced to sell in an already falling market to meet their obligations, which further increased their returns and forced them to sell even more. This is the same cascading mechanism that I described earlier when talking about gold and stop-losses. These are just people in suits and ties working in the government bond market, not the Medis market.

35. And, importantly, no one even knew about the existence of this particular mine until it exploded. This is always the scariest part of this business. You never get let down by the risk that everyone is already talking about on TV. This is the risk that lies quietly aside and that no one has bothered to think about properly.

36. I would advise you to also look into commercial real estate now. Because today a slowed-down version of this same story is unfolding. A huge volume of commercial real estate loans was recorded many years ago at very low fixed interest rates. As these loans expire and need to be refinanced now, the new rates available are significantly higher, and many of these deals are simply no longer economically viable at the price the owner originally paid.

37. This forces real estate to be sold at significantly lower prices, which pulls down the value of the collateral that secures the corresponding bank loans. And this, in turn, forces banks to start writing off the value of these loans on their balance sheets. And banking, as we have all learned repeatedly through bitter experience, is ultimately just another game of interconnected dominoes.

38. Now let's move on to the part of this whole puzzle that, in my honest opinion, could prove to be the biggest driver for gold over the next few years. And this is something that most people watching this video have probably never even heard of. The idea of an official state revaluation of gold. Currently, the gold held by the government is valued at only a tiny fraction of its actual current market price.

39. Using a figure that was essentially set decades ago and has never been significantly updated since. If the government were to officially revalue this gold to reflect today's real market price, it would instantly make a huge paper profit on its balance sheet. Many intelligent, reputable people will tell you that this is nothing more than an accounting trick.

40. And on one narrow level, they are absolutely right. Physically, nothing changes in the world. But here's the part that really matters and which most of these same commentators tend to simply ignore. This maneuver allows the government to effectively exchange interest-bearing debt, which must be serviced and eventually repaid, for an entirely different kind of obligation that bears no interest and functionally never has to be repaid on a fixed schedule.

41. Historically, this was done through a sale and repurchase agreement with a central bank. The government sells its gold to the central bank. The central bank pays with newly created money, and this fresh money is used to reduce the need for new borrowing. Meanwhile, what the government technically owes the central bank just sits there, earning no interest and remaining invisible in the debt headlines everyone sees on the news every night.

42. This mechanically reduces the supply of new government bonds on the open market, which lowers yields and makes all future government borrowing much easier and cheaper. And that's why it's so important, especially for gold. If the government is truly going to revalue its gold and recognize this new higher price as legitimate, it should almost certainly be willing to support it.

43. In fact, step in and buy gold at this new level if the market ever tests it for strength. This, practically speaking, creates a real " floor" under the price of gold. And any asset with a reliable floor behaves fundamentally differently than one that could theoretically fall to zero. It acquires true option value because from that point on, there is only one real direction of movement left for it.

44. So where does all this leave you today as you look at a portfolio that has likely fallen over the past few months? This tells me that the current pullback, as painful as it may seem right now, is not the end of the story for gold and silver. This is market clearing. The forced removal of those who should not have held such high positions in the first place.

45. The overall picture hasn't changed one iota after one bad quarter. A government that is structurally set to slowly devalue its own currency over time, a debt burden with no realistic and painless path to real-world stability, and a slow, steady erosion of global confidence that could accelerate dramatically at the wrong headline at the wrong time.

46. What has changed is that many weak, overly creditworthy players have been washed out of the market. And historically speaking, this is usually beneficial for the next upward movement, rather than a warning sign of something worse. So, here is my challenge to you. And I say this sincerely. Don't be the person who panics and sells everything at the bottom out of sheer emotional exhaustion, only to helplessly watch the price recover a few months later, regretting not holding on to the asset or even buying more.

47. And don't go to the other extreme. Don't go all in, putting everything you have just because you're excited about one video. Be the kind of person who chooses their position size wisely enough that a bad quarter doesn't cost them a single sleepless night. Be the person who actually understands why the dollar is under quiet, targeted, structural pressure, instead of just reacting to headlines.

48. Pay attention to the mechanisms beneath the surface: stablecoins, debt dynamics, hidden off-balance sheet derivatives, and discussions about gold revaluation. Because these are the very things that mainstream financial media rarely takes the time to explain properly. And they will determine how this decade will go for everyone who owns real assets.

49. If this approach helped you see the current picture better, subscribe, share this with someone who panicked and sold assets this week, and see you in the next video. Where we will delve even deeper into how the dollar story is likely to develop further.
