Hello crypt lovers, if you don't know me, I'm Nelson López, and in this new editorial, we're going to delve into some news that's generating buzz in the financial and technological world. We have the bold predictions of BlackRock's CEO for Bitcoin, the opinions of Anthony Scaramucci, the European Central Bank's stance on Bitcoin, its recent interest rate decision, and how US employment data and faith policies could impact our markets.
All this and more, so stay tuned. Bitcoin on the rise, Bitcoin will reach two o'clock, listen to it. BlackRock's Larry has released a statement that has turned many eyes back to Bitcoin. According to the end, Bitcoin's market capitalization could surpass the capitalization of the US housing market. That market is around an astounding $50 trillion, which would cause the price of a single BTC to skyrocket to $2.5 million.
It's like if Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo decided to play on your local team; you'd better own shares in that club because the price would go through the roof. Bitcoin is being considered as the Messi, the Christian of the financial markets by BlackRock, there were also statements from Anthony Scaramucci, founder of Skybridge Capital, a well-known investor who has also expressed his optimism about Bitcoin.
In June, he predicted that the price of BTC could reach $0 very soon. Last April, he anticipated that the Bitcoin market cycle could shoot up to $ 170,000 in the long run, and in the long term, over the years, it could grow 6 to 10 times. Listen to us: analysts point out that, like gold, Bitcoin could see its market capitalization skyrocket up to 10 times from its current level.
Although some consider these projections too ambitious, others maintain that the decentralized nature of Bitcoin, its supply, and its fixed supply of 21 million Bitcoin at most are what could propel it to such unprecedented heights. In my opinion, with all this happening, with the biggest names in the world of investment funds coming forward, it means that the narrative that could accelerate the arrival of the Bull Market is already being activated.
Let's just think about something: When was the last time Larry Fink sold so much optimism? Let's remember that he was a hater of the crypto world. He's not Vital Buttery, he's not Charles Hawkingson. No, he was a hater of the crypto world. Well, we saw that optimism last year when he had already accumulated enough bitcoin below 20k.
Those bitcoins were what served for the launch of the Bitcoin spot ETF, and we've seen in these spaces how BlackRock hasn't stopped accumulating bitcoin. During this bearish channel, they have more than 200 days accumulating bitcoin, and we've been seeing how BlackRock always accumulates on the days when the market falls the most.
The real question here is, was it enough time to accumulate, and that's why they decided to pump the market? Only they know that, to be realistic, but you have to pay attention to the narrative. Don't believe the maximum prices that these experts are predicting because remember that they are going to sell long before you.
The market will fall, and they are going to take all the profits, while the retail will be trapped and will have no choice but to sell at a loss or hold until the next cycle. However, To clarify, I don't think it's impossible for Bitcoin to reach $2.5 million, as the refining company says. What I do think is impossible is for it to do so in this cycle.
So, it's important to have a well- defined exit plan because if you hesitate, you can get trapped. In fact, I'm thinking of doing a workshop to teach you how to create an exit plan. If you're interested in this information, let me know in the comments. If you don't write to me, I won't do it. So, write and...
well, the refining company reminds us that the true strength behind Bitcoin's growth lies in liquidity and transparency. The easier it is to buy and sell Bitcoin, and the clearer the information available about cryptocurrencies, the more confidence investors will have in general. This is fundamental for any asset, not just digital or traditional.
This is the basis for any asset to grow and consolidate in the crypto world. Trust is the most valuable asset because, as a disruptive technology, just like any other relationship, it's built brick by brick, with every action and every word. In a world as volatile as cryptocurrencies, consistency between what we say and do is key to gaining credibility.
Unfortunately, because Bitcoin is a disruptive technology that very few... The understanding in its early days led many scammers to take advantage of those seeking quick and easy profits, and what I call magical gains that don't exist. This really damaged Bitcoin's reputation in those early days, but it's not the asset's fault, it's not Bitcoin's fault.
So far, its blockchain has been inviolable, and the asset is 100% traceable; everyone knows where the coins are going. The real problem is the lack of information people have. Now let's talk about Bitcoin regulations by the European Central Bank, or at least the announcement that something might be coming.
If there is regulation by the European Central Bank, would this be a threat or an opportunity? How should we take advantage of it? Well, a recent document published by the European Central Bank on October 12, 2024, states that older Bitcoin holders are profiting at the expense of new investors and argues that the scarce decentralized currency should be regulated to prevent its price from rising, or even banned altogether.
What is this? A kind of exchange control on Bitcoin, like something out of a communist regime? What nonsense! The European Central Bank just said— the same authors of the document claimed—that those who acquired BTC at an earlier date or who bought at market lows, as if having the skill is a sin, and sold to new investors at a profit, as if selling at a profit is a sin, were exploiting the new buyers.
Honestly, I can't believe the European Central Bank took the time to create such a lamentable document that doesn't just question whether we're idiots, it's that they're certain we're idiots. The European Central Bank simply explained how financial markets work: investors buy, they look for assets at a low price to sell at a high price, and that's not just in Bitcoin, it's in the S&P 500, it's in Tesla, it's in Apple, it's in Meta, it's absolutely everywhere.
What is the function of an entrepreneur? To buy cheap raw materials, add a specialized process, and turn it into a final product that has a higher sales value than the sum of those raw materials and that specialized process. That's a crime, according to the European Central Bank. Here's another example, a little less business-related, but one that most people do.
A professional invests 5 years of their life to learn a specialized skill that will allow them to earn income for 20 to 40 years. In other words, they are investing little time to learn something and then selling that knowledge for much longer, with added value, to accumulate a lot of money. They start with something cheap in value and sell it for a higher price.
It's always the same formula, and that's how the ECB works. Everything is based on this premise. The European Central Bank concluded that Bitcoin should face strict price controls to prevent exploitation and the resulting civil conflict stemming from the unfair distribution of wealth. What nonsense!
Of course, for them it's unfair because those who arrived early are n't the elite of the world. So, the ECB, the European Central Bank, finds it unfair that others, other than the privileged group that dominates the world, should profit. What they should have really said in that document is that the price of the asset, with a limited supply of 21 million Bitcoins, has increased dramatically since its creation in 2009.
They also fail to mention that the creator is a pseudonym, a certain Satoshi Nakamoto, whom nobody knows and who... It appears to reclaim the wealth it also generated, and its intention was for the digital asset to function both as a decentralized payment method and as a store of value to counteract the rapidly depreciating fiat currency caused by the indiscriminate abuse of printing money.
In short, Bitcoin is the competition for central banks. Well, the truth is that as the industry matures and professionalizes, a unique opportunity opens up to build a more realistic and transparent narrative. I think that's why the participation of Larry Fink and Anthony Carami is valued, even though their predictions are quite exaggerated.
But hey, they are icons of the market they operate in; they are references, and by speaking openly about the advantages and disadvantages of Bitcoin, its risks and opportunities, all of this generates trust, which is ultimately what attracts investors. Bitcoin is more than liquidity and transparency; it's a movement.
Many of us are here because of that; it's a transformation of the entire system, and the transformation has been driven by ideas, passion, and people who believe in a common project. That's why there are so many of us in the crypto world; that's why we have withstood the downward channel; that's why we have withstood corrections.
70 percent because we understand the power of this, gentlemen. Bitcoin will change the financial markets in the next 5 years forever. Well, now let's talk a little about macroeconomics and monetary policy in the United States. What's happening with the employment data in the United States government?
We all know, as we've discussed in previous sessions, that employment and liquidity are key to achieving a soft landing. The so-called soft landing. Employment has a hidden problem that little is being said about, but we're not going to let it go unmentioned in this space. In September, the United States government's employment report, which was positive, notably showed a surge in government jobs with 785,000 new positions in the public sector.
This massive increase boosted the total number of government employees to an all-time high, and listen to this: surprisingly, 85 percent of the total increase in jobs in the household survey came from the public sector, suggesting a strong dependence on the government for job creation. This phenomenon raises concerns about a possible structural imbalance in the economy.
A healthy labor market should depend primarily on private initiative, not the government. The expansion of public employment, although in the short term it helps to Reducing unemployment may not be sustainable without a parallel improvement in the private sector, and this trend is continuing and could generate larger fiscal deficits and further strain the already bloated national debt.
The report questions whether solid job growth is truly being achieved or if the unemployment rate is merely being temporarily masked. Personally, I think all of this has always been manipulated. When they decide to boost the market, they simply manipulate all the data they need to sell confidence. And since the quantitative easing cycle is theoretically beginning, and there's some data they don't like—for example, employment—they decide to increase it by increasing public spending.
Their intention is to boost the markets, claim they've managed to overcome inflation, and ultimately achieve their objective, which was a soft landing.
