01. hi guys, welcome to on this channel. We cover the crypto news and interview many of the people who are building and investing in this asset class today. I wrapped up my interview with Max Keiser, and that interview will be published tomorrow, so go ahead and hit the subscribe button as well as the thumbs up button.

02. Some very negative news around gold. Here's the headline: "Gold versus Bitcoin: 2.8 billion dollar fake bullion scam highlights Bitcoin's benefits." A huge corruption scandal involving Chinese loans backed by fake gold is pressuring gold's supporters to defend it against the unforgeable Bitcoin.

03. We all know Bitcoin is on the blockchain. You can't duplicate it, and you can't forge something and make up a fake Bitcoin. There have been forks of the Bitcoin blockchain, but the network is so open, transparent, and decentralized that you can readily identify something fake. With gold, it's not that easy. You can make up fake gold bars. People have taken lead, stolen copper, gold-plated it, and sold it as a full gold bar. That is an issue, and it's an argument on Bitcoin's side: it's all on the blockchain, and Bitcoin is a better store of value. It's gold 2.0.

04. Now, I'm not anti-gold. I hold gold in my portfolio, and I know many people who do, so this isn't anti-gold. It's a matter of saying Bitcoin is a better store of value.

05. Let me give you more details. The Bitcoin versus gold debate rages this week as reports reveal fake bars fueled a 2.8 billion dollar corruption scheme. As the Chinese media outlet Caixin reported on June 29 via Nikkei, a loan deal between Chinese financial institutions and a Wuhan gold jewelry company, with gold as collateral, fell apart when it became known that the gold was gilded copper. That's not good. They also say there's potentially tainted gold in bank gold bars and central bank gold reserves. If there's a whole glut of fake gold bars, I think we'd see the price of gold drop a bit, because there's a lot more fake gold in circulation than expected. So, as I said, for Bitcoin supporters, gold's authentication problems form a major argument against holding the precious metal.

06. I still think people will continue to hold gold, because you diversify to reduce risk. However, Mr. Gold Bug himself, Peter Schiff, is constantly tweeting that Bitcoin is crap, it's a scam, blah blah blah, gold is better. Yet he's silent on this issue. Go to his Twitter profile: crickets. But of course there are tweets bashing Bitcoin. So he's a hypocrite, he's a clown, and I think it shows his weakness. He's constantly tweeting about Bitcoin. If gold is what it is, why would it be afraid of Bitcoin? He's definitely afraid that money will shift from gold into Bitcoin and crypto, which is why he's so loud about it. If you don't feel threatened by something, you ignore it. If you do feel threatened, you're very proactive in trying to change the narrative. This news is not good for gold. Once again, it gives more of an argument toward Bitcoin than gold.

07. Let's see what comes out of it. There are probably more fake items, and they mentioned more fake gold bars in central banks, and we'll have to see what accountability comes of this. There are companies looking to tokenize gold by putting it on the blockchain, and if they do that, I think more fake gold bars and bullion will be exposed. We'll have to wait and see.

08. Another article here: "Institutionalized crypto: big four analytics tools may lure in traditional investors." The big four firms have introduced data analytics tools to help manage crypto and digital assets for institutional clients. We've talked about this on the channel. Essentially, you have big institutional players coming in, like Fidelity and so forth, and they're going to want essentially the same setup they have in traditional markets: data analytics, auditing, security, accounting, all of that. That means other traditional firms like KPMG, Ernst & Young, and many others are going to start coming into the market. It further validates the crypto market as an asset class.

09. Let me give you some details. Once dominated by young and savvy retail investors, the cryptocurrency market has recently seen increasing interest from institutional investors and large fintech firms. For instance, one large investment firm most recently added 19,879 Bitcoin to its Bitcoin trust, bringing its total holdings of the predominant cryptocurrency close to a whopping 400,000 Bitcoin. Talk about a bag, a portfolio. In order to manage all of that and all their clients, what do you need? Big data auditing tools. And who provides that? The big four accounting firms, which serve the traditional markets, and now they're going to serve the crypto market. This is big. The investment firm further noted in a tweet on June 25th that it is managing 4.1 billion dollars' worth of digital assets. It's also worth noting that leading payment provider PayPal may soon be incorporating cryptocurrency options. Some individuals in the crypto community may cringe at the thought, but recent findings from KPMG explained that institutionalization is needed now more than ever for cryptocurrencies to reach their full potential. I agree with that. They're going to build it, take it to the next level, and market it to the mainstream.

10. A KPMG document titled "Crypto currencies are here to stay," so bullish, and this is from KPMG, which has nothing to do with investments or crypto. Here's a quote: "Institutionalization is the at-scale participation in the market by small and large entities within the global financial ecosystem, including banks, broker-dealers, exchanges, payment providers, fintechs, and service providers." They're going to provide the services needed. There's demand, the supply is going to come, and the service is going to come from these big four auditing firms. More people are going to get in. It's just a matter of time before Google, Amazon, and all these companies get in. We're seeing them come in one by one. Capitulation is happening, and those who have been silent are making their moves.

11. The biggest 180 and capitulation, I think, was JPMorgan just recently. We found out they are going to be offering banking services that are coin-based, in Gemini. They released a report saying Bitcoin has longevity and staying power because it survived the March market crash. This is a complete 180 from what their CEO Jamie Dimon said, that Bitcoin is a fraud and that if you lose your money, it's a scam. Big-time turnaround. So the future of the market is very bright, and institutional players are getting in. We have to wade through the cycles, and we will see higher prices, and the market will continue to grow.

12. Guys, what do you think about this news, especially the fake gold and Mr. Peter Schiff being so silent about it, showing his hypocrisy? I'd love to hear your thoughts and comments. Leave them below, thumbs up please, subscribe, and I'll talk to you all soon.
