okay let's get it all right guys today I'm gonna go over what Jeremy Siegel is saying about you know dividing Administration and how they're going over the stats on inflation and on the recession so I want to give I want you guys to give me your thoughts I'm gonna play the clip of him going on his rant and uh let's hear it guys Mark I money supply data greatest decline in five months that we've had in the post-war period I mean if he looks at any of the monetary or financial indicators he can't say oh we have to keep in mind I mean at his press conference said we have to get real rates in the positive territory they're in positive territory for every maturity for the first time we're already there um I mean I I did I thought that was the most uninformative uh I mean and and no one was asking them you know a hard question how do we have 3.2 million new workers and GDP going down what what is what does that mean what is the record declined in the money supply mean I mean what is what is the collapse in commodity prices mean what is the lag construction of of the of these housing indicators that are 40 of the core inflation which are are going to are going to filter through inflation for the next 12 to 15 months is that what he's looking at why is he looking at that um that's not an accurate view of what in housing inflation is I mean there were no hard questions yeah you know there were 50 reporters there I don't know they basically said you know repeat the statement you made at the beginning there's so many things I ask them what is he actually looking at and he's looking at three months annualized core inflation that is a lag well we all look at Market I mean look at what does the stock market do it looks at Market oriented data and that's what the FED should be looking at I don't know that I've seen you this animated you seem down yes I am I am I I I'm afraid that's like a pendulum they were way too easy as I've told you and many others through 2020 2021 and now oh my God you know we're gonna be real tough guys until we crush the economy I mean that that is just to me absolutely um poor monetary policy would be an understatement all right guys so there you go you see it uh with Jeremy Siegel uh talking about them going over the real numbers like uh he's saying that they're saying that there's no there's no recession there's no you know it's all of these jobs that's coming out he's saying this on every you know press conference that he's saying we got millions of jobs we got all of this but the numbers don't reflect that okay and we know that the dollar is increasing okay we know that because in a new article it says the stock index Futures point to further decline Monday as the dollar strength and Global tightening continues to weigh at risk on assets now if we see across the world have just been gas shortage there's just been a lot of stuff you know outside the country dude we haven't been seeing too much of anything in the United States but I want to know you guys comments what do you think is going to happen all right and this in this numbers game you know they say um people people men and women lie but numbers don't so you can give out certain numbers and it can spin things a different kind of way so I want to know what you guys think about this economic uh situation that we end dollar everything that's going on and what can we do to get up out of this okay so Brian is probably gonna do another press conference I'm probably gonna go over that but this was a classic rant from Jeremy Siegel I think we need more people like this standing up talking about the industry talking about the economy talking about the housing market talking about the real numbers that we need to see you know with GDP growth is going down down what if what if it goes down a third consecutive uh quarter are they gonna say we in a recession in are they going to keep hot in these recession numbers and why do they want to hide these recession numbers so just great to know let me know your guys comments I'll catch y'all in the next video peace
