Hello, welcome to the 1000 Alarm Clock Report featuring Peter Schiff. Gold and silver are inversely proportional to government bonds. Declines in gold and silver prices present buying opportunities. Disclaimer. Um, Peter Schiff has a new video. I will link to the original. The spokesman warns of a severe US debt crisis, real estate crisis, and currency crisis.
[sighs] His basic argument is: "The US now has very high debt and high interest rates simultaneously. These combinations are not sustainable in the long run . He considers a further sharp rise in interest rates and ultimately a crisis in the bond market likely, or even inevitable in his view . Yields on long-term US Treasury bonds are rising sharply.
The speaker interprets this not primarily as a sign of a strong economy, but as a consequence of high debt supply, inflation concerns, and declining confidence in bonds. He finds it particularly alarming that yields continue to rise even with weaker economic data. Normally, weaker economic data should increase demand for bonds and push down their yields .
His thesis: The decades-long bull market in bonds is over. Should bond yields fall even with significantly weaker labor market data, he sees this as a possible signal for a real bond crash. The real estate market is a major risk. One focus is the US housing market. According to him, rising bond yields are driving mortgages up, while at the same time houses are extremely expensive relative to income." Mortgage rates rising is just as okay.
The problem is bigger than just the level of mortgage rates. For decades, American homeowners were able to refinance their mortgages when interest rates fell , thereby lowering their monthly payments and sometimes even withdrawing additional equity from their homes. This money then flowed into consumption.
This mechanism no longer works with rising interest rates. The speaker therefore expects hardly any more attractive refinancing, less consumption by homeowners, declining demand for real estate, ultimately falling house prices, possibly negative equity, a weakened position for homeowners, and consequently losses for banks and mortgage lenders.
He sees parallels to the 2008 financial crisis, although this is an okay forecast. Regarding national debt, he describes four phases historically. The USI has gone from low debt and low interest rates, through various intermediate stages, finally arriving at high debt and high interest rates. He describes precisely this combination as particularly problematic because servicing the national debt becomes increasingly expensive.
Yes, to summarize, higher debt equals higher interest costs, equals higher deficits, more borrowing, even more pressure on interest rates. Gold and silver. Gold and silver looks The speaker sees gold as the antithesis to government bonds. If bonds lose their traditional function as a safe haven, he expects capital erosion.
Inflows into precious metals. Therefore, he interprets temporary declines in gold and silver as a buying opportunity and explicitly recommends owning precious metals. There is also a clear commercial aspect to this; he has a view of gold and stocks. The speaker refers to weak consumer confidence and weaker labor market data.
At the same time, some large technology and AI companies are masking the weakness of the rest of the stock market. K sees this as quite positive in the long term. However, he does not believe that the productivity gains from AI will occur quickly enough to prevent the debt crisis they expect. The current large AI investments will initially be costs for future productivity and not automatically translate into economic returns.
Politics in the later part. The speaker criticizes both Republicans and Democrats for high deficits and a lack of willingness to make concrete spending cuts. He represents a strongly economic and liberal perspective and rejects extensive government intervention. In addition, numerous speculative and clearly defined Claim about Donald Trump.
Okay, the AI is summarizing this now . Um, anyway. Um, he's pointing out that this lifestyle, like in the USA, leads to financing their houses, extracting more money, and at some point, it backfires incredibly, then simply nothing is affordable anymore. They can only solve that by printing money. That's what they're trying to cover up, right?
They're influencing the metal markets, trying to suppress them, and at some point, there's a huge surge, like we experienced in 2025, and you have to be there. But you don't know exactly when that will happen, and that's why you have to invest in advance. So, it's quite a difficult thing to keep everyone happy in such an empire .
All it takes is for some adjustment to go wrong, and we might experience a major crisis. So, this paper money system that was introduced to us here in 1913, is it really a cancer, at least for 100 years? Years. Um, the only thing is, I read an article somewhere, uh, where they said, yes, before 1913, they had no income tax.
Everything you earned, you got back, and ultimately, you have to go back to that, and of course, the current populations and so on, uh, wo n't go along with all that, especially here in Germany and in Europe. [ahem] You have to realize what a huge potential for a fall this creates in the end. That 's why we believe that gold and silver prices will rise sharply, and uh, this undervaluation of gold and silver stocks will be triggered, uh, um, so to speak, and uh, yes, and that you then secure these profits and, as soon as the currency conditions and whatever have normalized, then reinvest them, right?
Probably in future technologies, partly, or cheap standard uh stocks. You have to present that, you have to observe from the sidelines how these state collapses that will eventually happen unfold, right? That 's uh, not easy at all. Um, what's the situation with gold and silver stocks now? We saw them at rock bottom in 2023.
You could buy them for pennies, so to speak. Then, uh, they rallied until early 2026. These stocks, which we've often discussed, increased 15 to 30 times their value . Of course, not every stock, but some did. So, for example, my portfolio, at least, was already pretty good in 2026, but hadn't yet reached its target range, and then came the correction, and now you just have to ride it out until the next upward wave.
And that's how it is with these stocks too. They're showing signs of it . At some point, they'll probably reach their old highs, and then it won't stop there; they'll continue to rise . And you still have the opportunity to buy more top-performing stocks to ensure your portfolio is as high as possible when you reach the selling point .
Yes, it There are also occasional 1000-fold increases in this sector, in gold, in the commodities sector in general, when the market is completely dead, which it usually is, and then when it suddenly revives, something like that is possible. Whether that will happen on a broad basis... well, one can only speculate.
Probably not, or maybe partially. Well, because we're still at the 50-year low. If it were to really revive, which it has n't yet, anything is possible. Nevertheless, one should simply try to identify stocks that have such stories . In the worst-case scenario, they rise three, five, or tenfold, which is perfectly sufficient.
That is, when the gold and silver stock rally starts. Yes, there might be such stocks here, which is the reason for identifying and discussing them. You can then include them in your watchlist, follow them further, and conduct your own due diligence, your own investigation. And that's also why we're trying to dig this up here.
And especially with... With smaller companies like this, market capitalization of 10 million is anything but easy. Theoretically, several million are possible with this project, and the whole thing is located here in Ontario. So, they developed the company, which owns 100% of the Lingmann Lake Gold Project in Ontario and controls 85% of the Lingmann Lake Greenstall Belt.
The initial resource estimate was just under 100,000 indicated ounces and 674,000 inferred. That's almost a million ounces at a cutoff of 0.3 grams per ton, and 531,000 ounces average approximately 2 grams per ton of gold. So, yes, that means almost a million ounces, the whole thing valued at 10 million, and they've only explored a portion of this area.
There's still plenty of exploration potential. At the same time, they certainly have financing problems, so whether a mine will actually be built here, well, nobody knows, right? That's the uncertainty we have. But when the gold and silver bull market really takes off and they all want to realize their projects, in my opinion, they'll be flooded with capital.
That's the phase where things like that then skyrocket into the dollar range . But as I said, nobody believes that. The sentiment is very negative . The only thing we can do is identify potential large projects in good areas, really good areas, with good resource potential and expiratory potential. And these could then, if gold, imagine it, goes up to $6,500, then such stocks would certainly flourish, right?
That's the risk. That's why the "Top" rating here means there's really great potential , a very attractive area, but due to financing, whether the project will be developed, whether a mine will be built. Very high risk. Definitely not any kind of buy recommendation. Here's this news, I then checked it again with the AI.
Entered, what's currently going on there, why is it breaking out like this ? And then it says here that the completed 25-26 drilling program at the Lingmänlig Gold Project confirms gold in all three drill holes, thus supporting the geological model. Additionally, newer, deeper target areas are identified that could expand the resource potential.
So, from that perspective, um, quite interesting. Definitely worth adding to your watchlist and observing. As I said, by no means a buy recommendation. Yes, 1000 reports potential and, um, risk. Well, we've developed a report with 150 to 200 stocks. It's available for a year with monthly updates. Furthermore, if you decide to subscribe to the report, you'll naturally 're interested, we can put together a portfolio proposal.
Find a few facilities. Gold Avenue, for example, is entirely Swiss-based. The storage solution is a subsidiary of a large Swiss gold company that produces the renowned pump series. It 's a modern application. We can access it from anywhere, even on weekends. Small transactions between cash and metal aren't too expensive .
You can have it delivered . You can find more information in my email. So, as I said, for globally oriented people who can then access cash from anywhere , it's a very interesting solution in my opinion. The Polish silver market of the 1960s and 70s went from $ 10 to $10 in just over 10 years. A 50-fold increase, simply incredible when you think about it .
And yes, nowadays there's even a silver shortage. That didn't exist in the 70s or 60s. That means today we have a deficit of 46 million ounces per year, and that's why some analysts assume that silver could rise to $500 to $1000 by the next year. Sometime in the 2030s, or maybe the 2030s, gold will be 10, 15, 20,000, who knows?
The gold- silver ratio might be 15, meaning it's now falling from 70 to 15. Silver is, of course, an attractive investment, otherwise, um, everything is calculated in gold. The others are left in this final movement, then, um, they lose value, so to speak. So, houses fall from 100 ounces to 10 to 20 ounces, and the stock markets, calculated against gold, probably fall another 80% or more.
Only average wages are calculated in gold. Of course, everything falls 80% to uh, 80% . Yes, let's take a closer look at this Dow Jones gold ratio chart. This also covers 100 years, and you basically see that this uh, stock market gold game is very lucrative, and it's not just stocks and gold. Well, not gold, but in a certain sense, it's not a game at all.
You can see here the rise up to 1929, that was... One of the highest at the time, and then it completely imploded. This is always measured in gold against gold, and it took us 23 or 26 years to reach the nominal high again . Measured in gold, I think it was 16 or 17 years. Then the whole reconstruction hype was over.
States were already going into debt again, fighting in Vietnam and all that. And then it imploded again from 1965 to 1980, measured in gold. All the economic boom, as far as stock prices are concerned, etc., was gone. And then from 1980 to 1999, Peter Schiff hinted at this a bit , that he didn't believe we could outgrow the crisis .
Now, back then with information technology, all the Microsofts and oracles of this world were founded in the 70s or around 1980. They probably contributed to this, along with the collapse of the Soviet Union, uh... That an incredible amount of money flowed into the sector, or rather into the USA, where the dollar has truly become the leading power.
That those who were actually able to grow out of it to this extreme point, where we had to put down 44 euros . And you see what the analysts see. The analysts, of course, see with setbacks, so to speak, that this ratio also falls below one, rising to almost 0.5, that you can get two Dow Joneses for one ounce of gold .
You have to imagine that. And now, we've had this counter-movement from the financial crisis, AI, IT, and so on, but that's declining when viewed in terms of gold . And with the collapse of this line, there's now a likely acceleration in gold and commodities. And that might bring us to a gold-silver ratio, you see it somewhere between 3 and 4, and then there's possibly always a movement.
And then it might go down again. So not exactly good times for stocks, right? Good times for stocks, logically, after the depression, there was a 26-year rise, or so from 1980 to 2020, and it will be like that again eventually . When we reach rock bottom, there will probably be a 10- or 20-year bull market.
So, in my opinion, you should always keep the big picture in mind because it's very, very telling . Yes, here again, how many working hours does it take to get an ounce of gold? As you can see, we're in a world where it takes 110 hours to earn an ounce of gold . And if you imagine that, back in the late 60s, it took about 10 to 15 hours just to earn enough gold.
And then, just a quick reminder, when was that again? The early 90s, but that was also a short good time. Then, basically, a pretty good period began again between 1990 and 2000. And then the crash began, and now we're in a completely different situation, and everyone is already feeling the effects of inflation.
So, I find this chart very interesting . The sisenality should support us with rising prices for gold and silver until the end of the year, and also in January and February. Yes, thank you very much enjoyed this . Maybe also give it a like. That would make my channel a bit more interesting on YouTube overall . Thanks again, and see you next time.
