Today we will look at most of the assets from Bill Ackman's 13F reports. Bill Ackman is a billionaire. He runs a hedge fund. He heads Pershing Square Capital. He is the CEO of this company. What's interesting about Billy Ackman is that he only has a small number of positions in his portfolio. This is somewhat contrary to our approach at Interflame Finance, and we don't always agree with all of his assets , but he's a billionaire and we're not, so who are we to judge?
But today we will look at some of its assets and see how they match our Interflame Finance methodology and valuation system. So, first we have QSR, Restaurant Brands International. They have an overall Interflame Finance score of 0.1. If this is your first time on this channel, welcome! We want to tell you that we rate companies on a scale from -10 to +10, where -10 is the worst and +10 is the best indicator.
And we do this for both growth and security. So, we have a growth of 0.3 and a safety of 0.4. We take the average of these two scores and get our brand overall score of 0.1. Restaurant Brands International is a company that owns a large number of different restaurant chains in its portfolio. They own Tim Hortons, Burger King, Popeyes, and Firehouse Subs, to name a few .
Last year was quite successful for them, with shares up 13%. They are currently trading at $74 per share. The average target price according to Wall Street analysts' forecasts predicts growth of 14.9%. This implies a target price of $85 for this company. So, according to our analysis, there are some reasons for optimism about this company.
They have a forward P/E ratio of 17.3, a return on equity of 28%, and a 5-year forward P/E that is lower than the current one at 15.3. The price- to-sales ratio is low— 3.5. They have a pretty good dividend yield—3.5%. Their free cash flow yield isn't fantastic, but 4.4% is pretty good for the restaurant industry.
But there are also some reasons to be a little more pessimistic about this company. First, the main thing that stands out to us about Interflame Finance is that their debt to equity ratio is 3.0 . We prefer a value below one. This is three times our maximum acceptance threshold, and their PEG ratio is quite high—2.6.
We would like it to be below two, and ideally below one. So, the PEG ratio is a bit inflated. We believe QSR shares are trading somewhat expensively. We set a price target of $56 per share as their intrinsic value. Bill Ackman also holds Amazon in his portfolio with a combined Interflame Finance score of 4.5.
Over the past year, Amazon has grown by 26.5%, although for some time things did not look good. The quotes were constantly fluctuating up and down. And perhaps there is now reason to be a little more optimistic about the share price. Our growth rate is 4.5. Safety index— 4.6. Wall Street analysts are calling it a strong buy, even after a significant price jump that nearly hit all-time highs last week.
The current stock price is 272. The average target price on Wall Street is 322. This would mean an 18.5% increase in the share price. And Amazon is one of the best companies on the market. They have fantastic performance in all areas. Return on equity is 30.6%. Earnings per share (EPS) is expected to grow by 21.4% annually over the next 5 years.
Their 5-year forward P/E ratio is 8.3. And the debt- to-equity ratio is low, at 0.5. So, we see that the company is trading at a discount to its historical 5- year P/E. Their P/E ratio over the last 5 years is around 44. And if you look at this page now, the P/E ratio is currently 22. So they are trading at a 50% discount to their historical 5- year P/E.
So, today we are buying from Amazon at a bargain price . However, what worries us a little at Interflame Finance about Amazon is that their free cash flow yield is actually negative. We would like to see a level of 7% or higher. But it's not even positive. It is minus 2.2%. This is largely due to investments in AI, which may pay off in the future.
Time will tell, but currently the free cash flow yield is negative. So we are much more optimistic about Amazon than Wall Street is when it comes to the stock price. We believe Amazon should be trading at $413 per share. This gives us a safety margin of 34%. Bill Ackman also owns Google shares. Google has a combined score of 5.7.
This is a growth score of 6.2 and a security score of 5.1. Look at it in totality. The average combined score is 5.7. And they had a fantastic year, growing 88.8% over the past 12 months. This is considered a strong buy among Wall Street experts. The potential for share price growth is 19.9%. This is a really strong buy.
You can view metrics for Google. In the base case scenario, there is nothing special for this company, but if we look at the optimistic one, we will see a very low debt-to- equity ratio of 0.2. The interest coverage is 65.5%, which means they can pay their bills without any problems. This is a very good sign in case the economy starts to slow down a bit.
The return on assets is 13%, and their historical P/E ratio over 5 years is 24.3. We emphasize this because their current P/E ratio is 17.9. So, we are buying Google at a discount to its historical P/E ratio. Overall, we are pretty close to Wall Street's predictions. Although we are not so optimistic.
Google's target price is $47. This gives us a safety margin of 12%. Bill Ackman is also a Microsoft shareholder. Overall score—6.0 on our scale. Microsoft shares have fallen almost 11 % over the past year. It wasn't the best year for them. During this time, the company had several significant downturns.
Perhaps Microsoft will recover in the future. There are many reasons to be optimistic about Microsoft. Overall, this is a great company. Wall Street analysts strongly recommend it for purchase. It is currently trading at 465. The average price target is 563. This is an expected 21% increase in the share price over the next year.
Return on equity—34% , return on invested capital—26%. Very high profit margin—40%. Revenue is expected to grow by 18% each year for the next 5 years. The debt- to-equity ratio is quite low—0.3. Their 5-year forward P/E is only 11.7. They can cover their costs thanks to a coverage ratio of 50.4 percent.
Their beta coefficient is quite moderate—1.1. Return on assets is 14.1% . But we're not so optimistic about Microsoft. We believe it is currently trading at its fair value. We set a target price at 469. This is only 1% margin of safety for this company. Bill Ackman is also the owner of Meta Platforms.
The overall score of Interflame Finance is 6.2. This is the result of both growth and security scores, which also equal 6.2. Strong buy recommendation among Wall Street analysts. Currently trading at 557. Average target price—769. This means that the share price could increase by 38% over the next year.
Meta is a reliable company. They have a return on equity of 30%, a return on invested capital of 25%, a high profit margin of 30%, and revenue growth is expected to be 21 % and above every year for the next 5 years. The very low 5- year P/E ratio is 11.1, and the debt-to- equity ratio is only 0.4. But , as with Microsoft, we believe it is currently trading at a very fair value.
We believe that Meta should trade at 569. This gives us only a 2% margin of safety. So, this is a very solid company. We wouldn't be surprised if it hits 600 or 700 in the near future, but we'd rather wait for the share price to dip if we want to buy and increase our positions in Meta Platforms. Finally, consider Uber, which has fallen 19% over the past year.
The overall score of Interflame Finance is 8.1. It consists of a very solid growth rate of 8.8 and a pretty good safety rate of 7.3. "Buy " is the verdict of Wall Street analysts. It is currently trading at $70 per share. The average price target among these analysts is 104. This represents approximately 48% upside to the stock price.
We are much more optimistic about this company than Wall Street. We think it should be worth around 155. This gives us a very healthy safety margin of 55%. The payout ratio is 6. The projected P/E is very low—17.5. Return on equity 35%, return on invested capital 19%. Earnings per share are expected to grow by 30% each year for the next 5 years.
Very good free cash flow yield, almost at 7%. The debt-to-equity ratio is pleasantly low—0.5. So, there is nothing negative in the growth category. As for security, the only caveat is that they don't pay dividends. But look at this company's other safety metrics . A very well-managed company. Interest coverage—14.1.
They will be able to repay their debts if the economy goes into recession. Pleasant and low price- to-sales ratio—2.4. The current P/E is 17.4. Compare this to their historical 5- year P/E of 33.8. And again we see a company trading at a 50% discount to its P/E multiples. So, among the companies owned by Bill Ackman, 8.1 is the highest score of all the ones we analyzed today .
And they also have the highest safety margin—55%. We agree with Bill Ekman here. Load up on Uber Technologies shares. So, a small request. We also want to remind you that anything said on this channel does not constitute financial advice. We do not advise you to buy, hold or sell anything in your portfolio. Always do your own research and always do your own due diligence. So, of the six companies we reviewed today, three would be good buys if we were buying them, and three would be out.
We wouldn't buy QSR as the overall score is slightly below zero. Remember, zero is a neutral indicator . So, it's a little less than neutral, and they don't have any safety margin. In fact, we believe you would overpay 32% for QSR. Microsoft is a solid company with an overall score of 6.0, but is actually trading at fair value.
Same with Meta , 6.2 overall rating, but again , trading at fair value. So we are not interested in companies trading at fair value. We want to make sure we get a good price and build that safety margin. Therefore, today we will only consider companies with a minimum overall score of 4.5 and a minimum basic safety margin of 10%.
Normally on this channel we require a minimum overall rating of five or higher, but we're lowering it to 4.5 just to add Amazon to this list and get a little more variety. And you can see that the first company we would look at is Amazon. Overall score 4.5, basic safety margin 34%. So, if we were to invest a hypothetical $1,000, we would invest $167 in Amazon.
The next company we would add to our watch list is Google. Overall score 5.7. This is higher than Amazon. However, their safety margin is lower, only 12%. And so we would also invest $167 in Google under the sit-down allocation strategy that we typically use on this channel. And finally, Uber with an overall score of 8.1 and a basic safety margin of 55%.
He would get a significant portion of our money. If we invested $1,000, we would invest $333 in Uber, or 33.3%. And so when you add it all up, we see that we would invest $667 in these three companies and keep $333 aside as a cash reserve. Why do we do this? Well, we like to have cash on hand in case there are big discounts on quality companies in the market.
And so you can see that the base amount at Amazon and Google is 167 in this particular example. If we see these two companies perform better and/or the margin of safety gets even higher, then we will consider investing more than $167 in them, maybe $300, $400, or $500. In that case, if we wanted to invest $1,000, we would invest more than $1,000.
And this additional money would have to be taken from cash reserves. So, for the purposes of this video, we won't spend the entire $1,000. Instead, two-thirds will go to these three companies, and a third of the money will be set aside as cash, probably in a money market fund, to accumulate at least a little interest while it sits there.
And we are waiting for better opportunities in the market. These are the things, friends. Thank you very much for watching. We sincerely appreciate you being here and watching these videos.
