I think there are all the prerequisites for rapid growth, especially considering how oversold the dollar is. What-what? Tom Lee says the market has all the makings for an " explosive" rally. Stay tuned to the end of this video and I'll talk about two stocks with great growth potential that you should keep an eye on .

I've been talking about one of them for over a year now. And before we begin, let's watch a short video where Tom Lee explains why. Questions to start this hour. Is this the beginning of a new era for AI trading? Well , your first guest thinks this is the start of at least a brisk rally at the end of the month.

We invite Fundstrat's head of research, Tom Lee, also a CNBC writer: today is truly a day of rapid growth, not only for stocks, but also for cryptocurrencies. We'll get to that in a minute. Was there some catalyst I missed? What, what happened? You know, Brian, I think last week was the peak of the pain and pressure because the Fed was very hawkish and oil prices and rates were high.

As you know, over the past few days and weekends, oil prices have fallen and rates have stabilized. Now the Fed's tough rhetoric may soften. Therefore, I believe that all the conditions are in place for a rapid rally, especially considering how oversold we have been . Or...or, and I'm speaking as an energy expert, I understand that.

But how important is the fall in oil prices? Because it reduces bond yields. Bond yields followed oil. So, oil is falling, bond yields are falling. Stocks are rising. Is this some kind of formula? Yes, it is, because if you look at the components of the CPI that are still high, like airfares and transportation services, they are energy-related.

Last week, JP Morgan's report that they don't even have a baseline forecast for oil made it clear to everyone: oil prices are just high, deal with it. I think this was also the point of maximum pain. Do you also take diesel fuel into account? Because looking at the price of diesel, even for me, when I was filling up with regular gasoline, it was shocking to see the price of diesel higher, I think 6.80, when I saw 6.81.

Mhm. This is shocking, and I hear it from people in completely different industries, even casinos. The guys are worried about the cost of construction due to the indirect impact of diesel prices . Yes, and diesel, as you know, is widely used as an industrial fuel. So yes, it is a problem, and if there is a shortage, diesel is difficult to replace.

So I think there are good reasons why people should care about energy. Yes, but today they don't care. I mean, AI trading is back in full force today, and a little later we'll have Stephen Bird from Morgan Stanley on the program. Come on, let's take a shower. That would be something. What? Stephen Bird, I mean, hey, no, let's add another voice in this market, Jay Woods from Freedom Capital Markets, also a CNBC contributor, will be joining us on the program right now.

Jay Woods, thank you so much for joining us. I know that deep down you are a technical analyst. You love graphics. So, was there some trigger, some catalyst, today that caused this? It happened out of nowhere. Yes, that's right, and it's technology. I just wrote an article over the weekend where I called the market a real nerve game between bulls and bears.

The level of 7600, we broke it last week after the Fed meeting. We have recovered. Now we are making a breakthrough. So, we need to look, as Tom said, at leadership. "Magic 7" is reaching new highs. Then you look at those stocks that can take us on a wild rally. They are already in the game. And here I want to cool down a bit about this crazy rally.

Energy. We fell for one day. Nothing has changed. In your opinion, what has changed today? Nothing. We are taking risks. There is hope that the Trump-Xi summit will go well. There are almost no earnings reports this week, except for Cracker Barrel and General Mills. Costco is an interesting company, but we'll see the real state of affairs next week when Micron reports.

Micron is a stock, one of the top 10 in the world, with room to grow by another 10%. I think that semiconductors along with software, which are rising today, will get us back to the old high of around 7,800 on the S&P 500, but I don't think we'll have enough momentum from tech alone to hit new highs and achieve this crazy rally.

Well, it's a good growth, don't get me wrong, but not to the extent that it was before the midterm elections, when we should have gone all-in on this market. Yes. I mean, I agree with Jay. I think there's fuel here . I guess maybe what I disagree with is that the sentiment is still quite bearish. You know, last week AAII had a vast majority of bears, you know, a majority, which is essentially the sentiment at the very bottom.

And I know that our clients have reduced their risks. There was a lot of risk-off because they don't want to buy stocks when the Fed raises rates. So I think people are offside. I think this has the potential to push the S&P above 8,000 by the end of the month. But AMD has reached a market capitalization of $1 trillion today.

Meta is up 25% this month, Intel is up 35% this month, and last time I checked, they were up 11% today. So what gives you confidence that there is still room to move here? Well, I mean, these are examples of names that people have been writing down since late June, saying, "Hey, these are the big companies that AI is making money on." And then look how explosively they moved.

There are still many titles that need a lot of catching up to do. And , you know, AI stocks are still below their June highs . So not only do I think the leadership will come from there, but as you know, crypto moves typically lead S&P moves by about a month. And, you know, crypto made a pretty big leap in August.

And I think that's why we're seeing So I have plenty of fuel left to go higher by the end of this month. Now let's look at this article from Baron covering Palantir. Here is an article I want to share with you guys. Headline: " Palantir could be a big winner as air traffic controllers switch to AI." Stocks are going up, right?

And some of the key points here are that the Federal Aviation Administration is starting to use a smart AI program for air traffic controllers at three different airports in Washington, right? And then analyst John McPeek believes that the new FAA system could expand Palantir's use cases and significantly increase the company's revenue, right?

So, the American aerospace and AI defense company, ASI, got $875 million for a 12-year contract, right? Things related to artificial intelligence and software, right? So, the Federal Aviation Administration has implemented its artificial intelligence tool for air traffic controllers at our three major airports.

And then, as you can see, we think it all started in 2021 with Palantir's decision on flight safety after the 737 Max issues, which is now expanding as the agency extends Palantir's use to additional cases following the accident in Washington last January when an American Airlines plane collided with a helicopter.

So this firm thinks it has a buy rating on Palantir with a price target of $225, right? So if you look at Palantir now, it's worth 190, right? That's quite high, with a market capitalization of $444 billion. I have long said that I believe Palantir has the potential to reach a trillion-dollar market cap.

So, they still have room to grow to achieve this. But analysts added that the likely extension of the contract between Palantir and FEMA could mean that Alex Karp's company will significantly increase its government revenue, right? This belief came after the American aerospace and defense AI company ASI received a 12-year contract, right?

From the FAA for $875 million . But Keith wrote that it looks like ASA beat Palantir to the FAA air traffic controller contract, but it's likely there will be multiple vendors for this system, right? So, nothing special here. While it's difficult to accurately value Palantir's business with the FAA, we simply estimated that the 2021 contract was worth $18 million .

And the firm added that the FAA AI system will likely bring Palantir much more substantial revenue, right ? So, on this news, Palantir rose 2.7% to $191 on Wednesday, and that was its highest closing price since December 24, right? 2025. So Palantir is doing great things, right? They still have room to grow.

The company's shares have had a tumultuous year as investors have been unable to shake off fears of AI disruption. Shares were up 4% this year as of the close of trading on Tuesday. So, the stock, however, soared over 51% in August, becoming one of the best-performing stocks in the S&P 500 index that month, right?

So, Palantir, you know, is regaining its footing. I've been talking about this for a long time, right? I owned Palantir shares back when they first went public through a SPAC. Uh, and I bought some more , right? In the process, I didn't even make a video mentioning them again at 35, when I thought the growth was about to begin.

So I was lucky to point that out and profit from Palantir, but overall it's still a solid company. And now, you know, they're getting a few more government contracts related to air traffic control to provide a little more security. So, let's now look at SanDisk and see why they still have 36% growth potential .

So, let's move on to SanDisk, shall we ? Let's take a quick look at SanDisk. This is another promotion, right? This is part of the memory, yes, for artificial intelligence. So, a few key points: I think the headline is that SanDisk stock is up 644% this year. Surprise , right? There's still a lot of growth potential here, right?

So, this stock was part of the portfolio of Leonardo, I don't know his name, this young guy who was buying all these stocks. He was liquidated, the stock fell with him, but now it's recovered, right? Analysts set a "buy" rating with a target price of $2,400 per share. SanDisk shares are up 644% this year, adding over 1600% in the last 12 months, right?

So, what should we expect? The average selling price of a memory chip will increase by more than 20% overall in the third quarter. The target price now is $1,700, which is quite expensive—$1,800, which is quite expensive, right? But, you know, there are fractional shares for people who can't buy a whole one, but I believe SanDisk still has a lot of room to grow.

This is part of the field of AI. I'm surprised they have n't done a stock split yet . It's very strange that they're waiting so long , but I don't know what their CEOs are thinking or anything. But SanDisk shares are up 6.6%, right? They traded Tuesday as the best performers in the S&P, and that's a good gain for them.

The shortage of memory chip supply has been a key factor in Wall Street's optimism about SanDisk and other memory stocks. There are two types of memory involved here: DRAM, the short-term memory used by AI hardware to manage active data and running processes, and NAND flash memory, which is used for long-term storage, right?

So, Wall Street expects the average selling price of a memory chip to increase by more than 20% overall in the third quarter of this year, and compared to the previous year, both DRAM and NAND will continue to be in short supply until 2027. So there's a, uh, um , uh, memory shortage for AI, right? Uh , Cassie thinks Sandisk has an advantage in the current environment.

Sandisk's technology roadmap supports this possibility, and analysts note that the companies are working on this technology together with manufacturing partner Kioxia. I don't know how to pronounce it. I don't know how to pronounce it to advance my knowledge of this process. So, Sandisk still has a lot of room for growth, and Palantir is also a very stable company.

They are achieving significant success by taking many different steps to support the company as a whole. But, yes, that's all for today, friends. These are two stocks that I would potentially look at to see if they are worth it, if they can make money or add to my portfolio for the long term or into next year.

But just make sure you do your own research to see if they fit your personal portfolio. But these are the two I wanted to introduce to you guys. So, anything. Thanks for watching, and see you next time.
