01. views are still growing. So, in my opinion , I would buy on this dip. Tom Lee says it's worth buying during any market pullback. Also, stay until the end of this video to find out which AI stock is worth buying right now. I'm Indy, and welcome back . Joining us today from Los Angeles are CNBC expert Tom Lee of Fundstrat and Dan Greenhouse of Solace.

02. Gentlemen, it's nice to see you. Tom, let's start with you. You told me that you didn't think the Fed should have raised rates. That's what you told me yesterday. Now that they've done it, what do you think? Scott, you know, the market has already priced in the increase. The market reaction, as you mentioned, the stock market doesn't seem to be thrilled with this increase.

03. I would say to the audience: The Fed, even if they add 50 basis points, that's not the level that will collapse the economy. This actually shows that the economy is strong enough to handle this. And I think earnings views are still growing. So, in my opinion , I would buy on this dip. And I view this as an overreaction by the market to the Fed's actions today.

04. Oho. Dan Greenhouse, what do you think? Yeah, I didn't think...I thought they could wait. I mean, there were many reasons for them to tighten the policy. Of course they did, and the decision was unanimous. So it's obvious. But in terms of the market reaction, as Tom said, in general, we were prepared for this.

05. The movement of the 2-year bond over the last few days, if not months...the market has already moved off the lows, we were at one- something, one and a quarter percent off the lows, already gained a few basis points. This is largely due to algorithms. Regarding Tom's argument, I'm not sure that 25 or 50 basis points wouldn't hurt the economy.

06. You are simply, to quote Chairman Powell, “ withdrawing support .” So I don't think they should have done that, but I also don't think a 25 basis point increase is something to run away from. Tom, what should I do at the market? If you say buy on a dip, what kind of dip should you buy? Yes. Um, I listened carefully to what Jeff was saying because, you know, I think he presents a very balanced point of view.

07. But I may disagree . You know, he has this view that inflation is going to get dramatically worse in the next 12 months . Um, I tried to do the math in my head. For his point to be correct, the price of oil would have to approach 200, since we are already at 100, and to exacerbate and add to inflation, it would have to rise.

08. But, as Goldman noted, many of these temporary effects are starting to fade, subtracting nearly 100 basis points in the next 6 months, on top of the expected revisions of nearly 40 basis points projected by the end of the year. So the core PCE index at 3.3 will have a figure with a two in front. I think the market will not only react positively to this, I think everything that is falling today— cyclical companies, technology , consumer staples, and financials—will all show results and react positively.

09. So, in my opinion, this is a very good situation. We have a rise in the VIX and a sell-off in those groups that believe that inflation will remain for a long time. If this doesn't happen, we're in for a big rally. This is exactly the market segment I was pointing out to Steve Lisman, right? Why do you think financial performance fell by 2%?

10. I think it's partly a knee-jerk reaction to flattening the curve. Um, partly it's a reaction to the idea of, " Oh, the Fed wants to remove stimulus." Are they trying to ensure a "soft landing"? The financial sector will not like this. I do n't think that's really the Fed's view. I think it's fair to say that the Fed believes it can raise rates by 50 basis points and the economy can withstand it.

11. So I think today's sell-off in financial stocks is an overreaction . Guy, just remember that there are a lot of stock market hurdles on the horizon due to the midterm elections. So be careful and maybe wait until everything passes before going all-in if you plan on buying more shares. Now let's review this article from Barron's that discusses which AI stocks are good buys right now .

12. Here is an article I want to share with you guys. Headline: Why is Micron stock jumping while Intel CEO warns about memory chips, right? So let's take a look at some of the key points, shall we? Micron Technology shares rose after Intel CEO's comment about soaring memory prices, right? So, Tan said that memory prices have increased five to seven times, and predicted that the memory shortage will become even more acute next year.

13. Intel is reportedly considering a joint venture with Sky to manufacture memory in the US and has backed memory manufacturing startup Kalper Compute, right? So, Micron Technology, you... the stock is going up, right? 5% of shares rose again early Thursday. The warning from Intel's CEO about skyrocketing memory prices seemed like a reminder to shareholders about the company's profit potential, right?

14. So people are coming back to Micron because of this comment from Intel's CEO, right? Micron shares rose 5.3 % and were trading at 575.86 on Thursday afternoon. This should bring stocks back to last week's levels before they were hit by concerns about the slowdown and development of artificial intelligence, right?

15. So CEO Tan doesn't see any signs of AI adoption or the associated demand for memory chips slowing down, right? Speaking at an industry conference, he said that memory prices have increased 5-7 times, right? He also predicted that memory would become a major bottleneck, and so it turned out. And next year it will be even worse, right?

16. You can't let 70-80% of your costs go to memory as a company, right ? This will actually hurt your product and make it a little more expensive, right? So that's a double-edged sword from Micron, right? A deeper memory supply crunch means bigger profits for companies, but some of those customers, especially those that make budget smartphones and other devices, not AI hardware, right?

17. Forced to reduce their specifications or pass the price on to buyers, right? Well, like Apple, right? They pass the price on to customers. Now the new iPhone has become much more expensive. Didn't expect this, did you? So, investors should pay attention to Intel's comment, right ? Which seems interested in trying their hand again in the field of memory, which they abandoned many years ago, right?

18. They almost exited this space, but it's the hottest niche now. It, you know, hurt them a little bit, but they could have been worth a lot more than they are today. So Reuters reported on this this week, right? Let's see the difference for us. Market capitalization. So, Intel has a capitalization of $500 billion, and Micron has a capitalization of $1 trillion, right?

19. So they would probably cost more than Micron if they stayed in the memory space. But Reuters reported this week that Intel may form a joint venture with a South Korean company that makes memory chips. Although they later announced that everything was finalized, right? Intel also backed Kalray Compute, a startup that aims to revolutionize the memory market through innovative chip design, right?

20. I would say that Intel's interest in memory could eventually increase competition, but in the short term for Micron, the signal is: the memory boom is going to continue, right? So Micron should benefit from this. Therefore, this may be one stock worth holding in your portfolio, or perhaps buying a few stocks to keep an eye on , or buying an ETF that includes this company.

21. But Micron will continue to grow . I think Micron's market capitalization is now a trillion. I think it could potentially reach one and a half or even two trillion, right? If this memory deficit continues, right? So, Micron is a good buy, at least from my perspective, to add to the portfolio. I would definitely keep an eye on this company.

22. I would pay attention to any decline in the stock price, right? And I would buy some more shares. I have strong confidence in Micron, right? They are in the perfect position now. Everyone around admires them and talks about them, right? Which is good, right? They have a strong advertising campaign, right?

23. There's a lot of publicity around this. But it's really a pretty solid company. So I would definitely advise doing your own research. Thanks for watching, friends. See you next time. That's all for today, folk you for watching and see you soon .
