Hey everyone, I'm glad you're back with me! Bitcoin is at a very high price again, almost $67,000, while the momentum of the last few weeks is finally starting to slow down a bit. At this high price, we're seeing the first small pullback in the stock market. We'll be looking at how Bitcoin has actually performed during the recent stock market corrections, especially after seeing a lot of momentum and tailwind from those markets.
Of course, we'll also take a look at the Spot ETF figures for next week, which are very exciting because we've actually seen the third-best month ever, even during the summer lull. Naturally, we'll also examine how the companies have performed and what kind of headlines they're getting if they've invested in the Bitcoin strategy.
More and more participants are getting involved, and this is obviously a great marketing tool for this strategy. Also, the Ethereum Spot ETF is coming in just two days, and I want to discuss some of the data on it, how people are speculating on it, and what we're currently seeing. In this video, I'll also give you a general overview of the altcoin market, especially memecoins.
Accordingly, I'm naturally delighted if you're among the first 19,000 subscribers. And of course, as always, it's an absolute matter of honor for everyone to leave a rating and a comment for the algorithm. And of course, we won't waste any time and will get straight to the content. As I've already shown, the SM&P5 trading is taking a bit of a hit for the first time.
Of course, the main drivers of performance were Nvidia and stocks like Apple, which naturally pushed the index incredibly high. For me, this is always a small indicator of how much liquidity there is in the market and how much is being fled from fiat money in the traditional financial markets. Another good indicator is, for example, the price of gold, which has also shot up to an all-time high.
And yes, this has been related to all-time highs for weeks, months, or years. Bitcoin itself has performed better than stock market prices, especially in recent days, which is a very good starting point if we finally perform better than the stock indices. Bitcoin has already weakened here because we've been pushed incredibly high to an all-time high, and now...
A bit of settling in, price discovery phase, billions in sell-offs from Greaycale, billions in sell-offs from the German BKA wallet, MountGX refunds, and so on. So, the sell-offs and the trading volume, which, as we've seen here, was sensationally high. There are statistics, for which I still need to find the sources before I can display them here, showing that over 10 billion dollars changed hands here, meaning a considerable volume that's keeping the price fixed up here.
But if we look at the whole picture, when the S&P 500 corrects somewhat—the last time by almost 6%, the time before that by a little over 10%—then we can still follow all the pullbacks in Bitcoin as well. Let's just take this date from March 28th down to mid-April. On March 28th, the price was almost $2,000.
By mid-April, it had already corrected down a bit—18% Bitcoin correction. Let's look at the S&P 500 again; the last correction there was about 11% on July 25th, which lasted until the end of October. And what... This is what happened with Bitcoin back then, and we're seeing a correction of almost 20% in Bitcoin during this summer lull.
And to be honest, the spot ETF rumors helped us and pushed us up into November, and we were even in profit. That 's something that could very well happen here too. In recent days, we've been significantly more bullish on Bitcoin than on the S&P 500, and a slight decoupling has occurred. When things dip a bit, Bitcoin generally performs better out of corrections than the stock market index is now.
The reason for the rising price, why Bitcoin might now have the upper hand, is primarily because we've seen the third-best month overall since the beginning of the year since the launch of spot ETFs for Bitcoin. During the summer lull, we saw the third-best month with a whopping 41,158 accumulated Bitcoins, which is already in the billions.
And we're seeing BlackRock, Fidelity, Arcinest, Wenenco across the board – they're simply buying endlessly into all their Coinbase wallets. Massive fund flows are being recorded everywhere. The good thing is that buying volume is the dominant factor here, and of course, we... Even if things are different during corrections, buying is very strong.
While retailers tend to sell, spot ETFs continue to buy. If this momentum breaks, it must, of course, continue. And this is really just a brief snapshot. It's possible we could actually see a month with outflow again, but I expect that to happen more in the take-profit areas. If it really goes upwards, take a look at this, because April is the only month with outflow.
And in April, we were relatively strong in the all-time Hess region after making around 50, 60, or 70% profit with Bitcoin in just a few weeks. On the traditional financial market, where you can buy Bitcoin as an ETF product and take profits there, of course, it's not bad. Nevertheless, accumulation continues because you can't always wait until Bitcoin gets cheaper, and institutions can't resort to tricks here, except perhaps market manipulation.
I myself remain unchanged in my long positions here, with a current position size of 1.1 Bitcoin in this account. Then we also have another Bitcoin long position here with just under... $3000 in profit, and of course all the altcoin trades on Levex are still open, and naturally opened with USDT in margin.
In other words, I personally expect prices to rise and will continue to use corrections to buy more at lower prices. What's also interesting right now is the buying activity of companies that have been able to observe the Micro Strategy performance over the last three years. A company with annual earnings of nearly $50 to $ 100 million, and now even quarterly revenues in that range, has nevertheless built up a $10 billion Bitcoin reserve simply because they have Bitcoin as a strategic reserve asset for their company accounts.
And now we've also seen that the Bank of Japan is buying over $100 million in Bitcoin for its corporate treasury – a super strong purchase, $100 million, you have to have some guts. Another strong example is the USDT Tether Foundation, which is also buying billions of Bitcoins and is already seeing some impressive success figures.
The Bitcoin Group SE, a private equity and consulting firm, has also now... Reserves doubled again to $165 million, so you must have some serious skin in the game. You're being pretty daring when you start doing these things. And I can personally confirm it. I'm all in crypto because I've been investing in the market since 2017 and I simply understood, or rather, had to grapple with, why it keeps rising, why Bitcoin performs so well.
You can only really learn by following the performance, and the more you understand, the more headlines like this will likely come from other people who have also grasped it. There's no second best. The risk-reward ratio with Bitcoin is sensational, and that's why I always take this risk, even though leveraged trading is always portrayed as the worst option in the market: total losses, extreme risk, and so on.
I'm telling you, if I can trade the most bullish and hardiest asset in the world somewhere with low risk as a two-heel long trader, then for me the risk is lower than if I were to invest in some tech altcoins and super-great new innovation altcoins, because they usually go to zero in bear markets anyway, and Bitcoin has really...
So, the only cryptocurrency sector that repeatedly pushed for all-time highs, especially restarting cycles, was Ethereum, which was at the forefront of the last bull run. Its performance was actually even better. I bought Ethereum again at the $100 bottom, and at a top of $4800, there was a 48x return with Ethereum alone.
Since you do n't consider it an ultra-high-risk, gambling altcoin, that's why I'm heavily invested in Ethereum again in this bull run. And of course, I'm curious to see how things will go with the Ethereum spot ETF, which we'll get on July 23rd. That's in just two days, and preparations are already underway.
Investors are withdrawing their Ethereum holdings from the exchanges; some are probably staking them long-term, and some are probably just holding them in their private wallets. But they'll be less visible on the exchanges, meaning less supply for potentially rising demand. Personally, I see what we're seeing as quite healthy because of the open interest—how much is being speculated on, how many are long and short.
Positions on Ethereum are open and still appear relatively modest. There is n't much speculation here with 100x leverage on average, even on Ethereum reaching $100,000. We're in a relatively calm market phase where institutions can buy into the spot market, and their clients can, of course, buy their ETF shares.
But to be honest, I'm personally looking for a big sell-off. Selling Ethereum at $3,500 now? Yes, I should almost try it. Maybe another tip will come along, and perhaps Ethereum would then plummet, and it simply won't be positive. I definitely don't want to dismiss this thought because Ethereum has performed rather poorly in this market so far.
Nevertheless, with Ethereum's market cap of almost $400 billion, every billion in spot inflow would be a good price driver. The upward volatility would be even better with positive inflows. Of course, everyone has to decide for themselves what they want to do. Personally, I think I'll definitely take a small chance of selling Ethereum.
And if Ethereum continues to rise, then I still have enough, and everyone should of course be adequately positioned. A small side bet besides Ethereum is definitely the Mee coins for me, because overall, when I look at the yearly performance, you did n't achieve those results with any AI coins or Layer 2 or anything like that, but rather, sadly but true, or amusingly but true, Bonk, Brett, WIV, and Popcat last year.
Pepcoin and Solama were also there last year, and other Mee coins simply dominated in terms of performance. Two coins I keep eyeing and haven't bought spot yet are, for example, Popcat. Why should I buy it with over 7200% price gains? And also the Turbo, which always has really brutal volatility, could have been bought on the Bern market for years or several months.
Now, theoretically, a breakout from a downtrend would have occurred. Personally, I think I still went into a high-risk long position yesterday at the worst possible time. I simply gave him ten times leverage, let's see what happens. There was already a liquidation alert in my inbox last night. Right now the trade is at plus-us, currently still underwater.
Ten times leverage can pay off, or you can get ripped off. That's also my motto for this trade: just go for it, and if it gets liquidated, then I've simply overplayed my hand. Of course, you should never seriously invest large sums with memecoins, especially not with ten times leverage. Relatively speaking, I'm often active as a moderator with Bonk and Pepe, and I gladly take corrections and survive them.
Because with ten times leverage, you're really playing on a minefield when you're gambling on memecoins. What else do you need? An exchange. As always, the link to Levex is in the video description. Your first deposit is currently doubled with a trading voucher. That means if you're a new customer and deposit, for example, $100 or $5000, you'll receive an exactly equal position size.
On top of that, as a new customer bonus, you get a $5,000 long position on Turbo, Bonk, PPE, and so on. You might just hit the jackpot! You can withdraw 100% of all profits from these positions, and if you get liquidated, you only lose the bonus; your deposited money remains 100% available. You can definitely take advantage of this.
The link to Levx is in the video description below, and I've provided detailed instructions on how to get this $5,000 bonus on my YouTube channel. If you scroll down a bit, this Levex tutorial shows you exactly how I redeemed my bonus. Of course, it's always advisable to trade with bonus money because leverage naturally carries risks.
Everyone's experiencing that eventually. With altcoins, you also face the very high risk of not making a profit, especially when trading against Bitcoin. Therefore, in my opinion, buying altcoins carries a very similar risk to the often- maligned leveraged trading. But of course, you have to research it yourself.
And assess the risk yourself, and memecoins are simply my number one buy when I'm not really sure what to buy during corrections. I might continue with dollar-cost averaging on some Layer 1 that has perhaps already performed poorly, or some AI project like Tao Fetche Egg, and now ASI, whatever they're called, where probably nobody uses the AI anyway.
Then we have Pulse X, which I would n't touch with a ten-foot pole. Then there are also OG coins like Chronos Polka Dot and Real Asset Coins, and whatever else. And usually, my choice falls on a memecoin because at least you're sure they won't deliver, and you won't be disappointed if nothing is delivered.
Because that 's ultimately priced in—that you don't have any technical or other promises included. And that, in my opinion, is what makes memecoins so fair and so attractive to many investors. It's hardly surprising how much the big memecoins have already managed to climb. And for me, that's more like a fair bet on some high- risk speculation.
But if you really If you 're at the beginning of your portfolio, then I think the Bitcoin niche makes a bit more sense. You're getting an ultra-good asset that should really form the basis of your portfolio, and if you also shift profits from altcoins into Bitcoin, you'll be right at the forefront when it comes to asset handling.
Accordingly, if things go down and stock market prices drop a bit, then Bitcoin will probably become more volatile and perform better. Unless we can already test new price ranges with this bullish accumulation month of spot ETFs, that's my speculation. I think we might even see an all-time high in the summer, and I'm pretty sure the all-time highs will come in Q4.
Then it will be interesting to see what you've been doing this summer. I certainly enjoyed it, and I thank everyone who watched the video to the end. That's definitely the starting point, and we'll see and hear each other in the next livestream, YouTube video, Telegram group, in the comments, or in the Circle. I wish you all the best. Maximum profits, bye bye
