Um, you know, the OPEC meeting is fast approaching next week. What do you think investors should pay attention to, and how do you think it will affect which commodities? Well, I realized that I need to pay a little attention to OPEC, but not that much. They don't have that much influence. So supply and demand are much, much, much more important.

Of course, they can affect supply and demand. So that's something to watch, but, you know, the main fundamentals are that known oil reserves are declining and have been for some time, including Saudi Arabia's known reserves. And this means that the price of oil will continue to be limited and under pressure.

We had fracking for a while, but the fracking bubble burst. We still have fracking, but people now understand that they have to make money. You can't just write "fracking" and get rich. Something needs to be done. You need to earn money. So, it was a bubble that brought more supply into the market. But the bubble burst.

It still exists. But in the meantime, known reserves of oil and natural gas continue to decline. So, when talking about silver, gold, and other precious metals, you even mentioned agriculture. But how many do you think are left? Do you think we'll see 1800 for gold, 2000? Oh no, before it's over. Oh my God, oh, before this is over.

Gold and silver will surprise us all. I mean, silver has been selling for $50 twice in the last 50 years, 100 years, silver is now worth $17. So 50 is still a long way off, but this has happened before. So 50–it certainly wouldn't be unusual if supply and demand were out of balance and people were panicking about inflation or the end of the world.

So, no, no, these prices will definitely repeat. Now, 50 from here–this is a triple increase. People are usually very happy about tripling, myself included. If I can buy something that triples, I definitely want to know about it. Um, but that's definitely going to happen to sugar and silver before this is over.

And gold was definitely, I mean, gold hit all-time highs, where? 202100 or so. Um, that's not true, it's only down 10 or 15% from its all-time high. But gold will reach great new highs before this is over. Throughout history, when they lost hope in their governments or money, they always bought gold and silver.

They've been doing this for hundreds of years. There are many scholars who value gold and silver, whom you should forget about. Charlie, I'm an old farmer. And all of us old peasants know that when things go wrong, we want to have a little gold in the cupboard. We want to have some silver under the bed.

Because we don't care what politicians and teachers say, we want to have some gold and silver. And I am an old peasant. I'm going to buy more gold and silver because I know things will go really bad again someday. And I know how to protect myself. I saw this this morning regarding the US and stocks.

I saw that there was a sell-off and decline in many US stocks this morning on the back of earnings reports. What is your opinion on this matter ? Well, I mean, this one market too. Profits are falling, stocks are falling. It's pretty simple. I mean, it's not always that straightforward, obviously, but generally speaking, if earnings are falling, stocks are going to be weak.

If earnings are very strong, stocks will be strong. Um, we've had a lot of money printing and we're having strong earnings right now , but it seems to be peaking if you ask me and we're nearing the end of this long bull market. This bull market was the longest in US history. I will use the US since it is the largest.

Uh, it's been 13 years. I don't mean it can last 33 years. Who knows? It doesn't necessarily have to end after the longest period in history, but it is the longest period in history, so we are certainly historically getting closer and closer to the end. And I see enough signs that tell me the end is coming, and it will be bad.

We've seen a real increase in the number of clients you know opening accounts and looking at derivatives in the short markets to hedge risk. What do you think about this ? Well, hedging is a perfectly reasonable, legal, and sensible thing to say if people know what they're doing. Hedging risk is always a smart thing to do, no matter the circumstances, if you know what you're doing and if you do it right.

Yes, hedging, Charlie, if you can teach your clients how to hedge and do it right, they will love you forever. If you do it right. Mmm. I mean, here at Vantage, you know, amidst the pandemic and COVID, we're seeing a real increase in the number of new traders, younger traders. I think given everything that's going on in the world with the war, with the obvious inflation, you know, we're seeing real fear and panic among these traders.

Any advice for newbies who are obviously right to be , you know, concerned about the future of the markets? Oh, Charlie, I've seen this movie before, at the end of long bull markets, a lot of new investors come in there. They call their friends and say, “Oh, I discovered this new thing called the stock market.

It's fun and you can make money and it's easy. "It's easy." And I mean, like I said, I've seen this movie before. But then there comes a time when it's not so easy, and they all get burned, they get injured, and they move on to other things, and many of them never come back until their children come back .

They're coming into the next, you know, generation of bull markets. Uh, my advice to them is very strict : don't invest in anything unless you know a lot about it yourself. Everyone knows a lot about something, whether it's cars or fashion or something like that. Stick to what you know if you want to succeed in the investment business.

And they say: of course, oh, that's boring. Give me a hot tip. I want some hot advice. I want to get rich this week. Well, I want to get rich this week too, but I learned that hot tips will ruin you. So my urgent advice to all of them: please stay away from hot tips. Please stay away from hot tips. Please only invest in what you know, and if you don't know anything to invest in, just wait.

Do n't do anything. Be patient. Wait until you find something you know about, then invest. But they will all say it's too boring. I would urge everyone to pay attention to Vantage because, you know, we have some very tough times ahead of us. Everyone should be aware, because if you become aware, you will start worrying; And if you're worried, you'll prepare yourself, and you'll probably get through it just fine.

You know, there were a lot of people who came out of their 30s very, very rich, very successful, because they knew what was going on and they understood what was going on. So we're going to have tough times again, and I encourage everyone to watch Vantage or someone else and be ready, because if you're ready, you're going to be very successful. If you are not ready, you will suffer. You will suffer greatly.
