Hi friends welcome to the profit curve to our new video so I am going to talk about a stock in this video as a learning from one of our favorite people in the stock market Mr. Vijay Kedia I have a lot of respect for such people who literally start from scratch and reach these millions and billions of dollars that they made from the equity markets whether it is Ramdev Agarwal Vijay Kedia Madhu Kela and many more actually some fund managers so it's not just education I mean you can be what Vijay Kedia signifies don't need to be IIT or IIM pass outs to make money in the market in fact SEBI's circular is 90 per people do not earn money in FAO maximum people you can write in it are IITians maximum people are IIMians to a large extent because the markets are rational there for everybody so nothing against anyone but there was one stock of his which I am watching his interview right now I am sure you must have seen it recently, a lot of interviews come, these people give interviews every six months, so he was mentioning a very intelligent question, a very good question, I asked him what is the worst advice that Mr.
Vijay Kedia has been given by someone, what was the best advice given, so okay, he talks big but the advice mentioned is very good, I want to tell you what he said and I quote Mr. Vijay Kedia in that interview, he said it, but a company has very heavy quantity, that means his quantity guys, usually if you buy Vijay Kedia's stock, it is in the public domain, a lot of his holdings have % stake in the company, he buys 1, 2, 5 also, he buys small companies, he goes more into small caps, see, that is the benefit of listening to it, he mentioned GMDC which is in minerals and some Gujarat based company, it is in minerals and I still like it.
I was watching it, it seems to be quite undervalued, we have not, so this is not a recommendation at all, it is not a buy or sell recommendation, this video is only for sharing an experience purpose, so in that GMDC, apparently, there is a size but some very heavy quantity at 50 per share and after buying it from there, I went around the share must be 180-190 and during that time I met Mr.
Vijay Kedia, a retired IAS officer, a very senior kind of person, a senior citizen, who was posted in Gujarat, so in the course of conversation I must have talked to the IAS, hey, there is a company in your state, GMDC, which is doing some work in rare earth minerals, on that Mr. Kedia's Research, it was a good company and was working in rare earth, at 50, it was grossly undervalued according to him, his words, but that IAS officer, no no, he said no, this is nothing special, this is just minerals and rare The finance is in the hands of the central government, nothing happens with the state government, some such story was told to them and you know after he listen, the man himself Vijay Kedia also makes a mistake, think one listen to the IAS officer, he must have sold this company, he says this, around 190 and something around 0, he took it out because he got scared that what will happen in it now, will anything happen or not, if something goes wrong during the state elections, and today see, he himself tells about the stock and it touched 00, so guys, if this FOMO happens with you, then it happens with all of us, with big investors, every one of us goes through this, this is a natural characteristic of the stock market globally, so now Vijay Kedia sahab, who must have invested two to five crores in such a company, I mean how much did he earn, if you see, 150 to 190, then he made still 20 to 25, which is not Bad but he could have made three times at least two and a half times in the same period.
If he holds it for a year and says that if I had held it for one more year then it could have gone up to 450. The stock had touched 400. GMDC is not a recommendation, please do your own research. This is a sharing of experience which I am sharing with you for training purpose. So they also make mistakes, friend.
Nobody is invincible in this market. The problem is not whether you make a mistake or not. That is not the problem. The problem is what do you learn from the mistake and how much you do not repeat your mistakes. Those are your success stories. I will see you in the next video very soon till then. Keep profiting.
